Every time I come to Dhaka, I stay at this hotel. It is the state guesthouse in the capital of Bangladesh. It has a high security factor. There is a shotgun and an AK47 standing guard at the door, so you can sleep well at night. The interior environment has traces of history, but it is very clean and tidy. The breakfast is rich and delicious, which should be one of the best breakfasts in Dhaka. The swimming pool on the first floor is very large, and there are several jackfruit trees next to it, from baby jackfruit to large jackfruit. There are red wax apples all over the ground under the tall wax apple trees. Many national leaders stay in this hotel when they visit, including our country.
The environment is nice, quiet in a busy area, the service is also good, the front desk service is very good, the breakfast variety is good, and the hotel recommended by the concierge is also very good. But the biggest problem with the room may be that it is too old, and the musty smell is very strong, and the air conditioning can't dissipate it, which is suffocating. The front desk took me to see two more rooms, which also had musty smells, but slightly lighter. In addition, there was an 18th birthday party at the rooftop swimming pool that night, and the music was very loud and it lasted until very late.
They somehow deleted my booking, so I sat in the foyer for six hours until someone worked out what was happening. To their credit, they found me another hotel when a manager took responsibility, but it cost me more and shouldn’t have taken as long to rectify. I have travelled for twenty years, and this is up with there with one of the worst experiences to date.
Marvellous service in White palace hotel, my friend suggested me this hotel and I'm pleased with room, food and transport service . Breakfast and dinner was delicious. Security system was also perfect . Definitely it is a quality hotel in Uttara
I didn't stay at the Mango Hotel in Dhaka before because I accidentally lost my passport and I felt so miserable in this place where I had no relatives! Later, my friend introduced me to the Mango Hotel and said that he would help us Chinese people. I found the Mango Hotel with a nervous heart. The owner was really good. I picked up the phone and called the embassy and sent someone to take me to complete the procedures. Because I had to wait for a few working days to get the documents, I stayed in the hotel. To be honest, the cleanliness of the hotel was my first impression. The second was that all the meals were authentic Chinese food. The third was that all the staff were warm and the service attitude was super good. It made me feel like home. I want to express a lot, and I am not dragging my feet. If you plan to come to Dhaka, Bangladesh for inspection, you must choose the Dhaka Mango Hotel. The owner has been here for more than 20 years and knows all walks of life. He will not let you get lost. You will not regret choosing the Dhaka Mango Hotel, which will save you detours. It is worth recommending! Thanks to everyone at the Dhaka Mango Hotel.
Location is okay but very busy traffic on the street.
Front counter staff member was not friendly because at the time of check in he asked me what time I will be checking out which was not relevant at that time. Then I got a phone call at 9.50pm asked me again what time I will check out.
Secondly the room cleaner left two large rubbish bags in front of my room which was not acceptable.
Loved this hotel. Rooms were kept clean, beds were comfy and staff were very helpful. The hotel has a great pool area, stunning view from the gym and a sauna. Didn’t make use of the spa facilities and didn’t eat in the hotel much (1 breakfast and 1 lunch).
This is my first trip to Dhaka, it's pleasant to stay here. All staffs are friendly, helpful and mostly can speak fluent English. Their front desk, security, room service cleansing guy, driver, waiter in restaurant all of them are super nice.
Will keep staying here next trip.
The most satisfying stay in Bangladesh on a business trip. There is a bar on the rooftop - with wine and food, open until 2.00am, which is really friendly to guests arriving on late flights. It's really great to drink and fill your stomach!
Breakfast and Bangladeshi food are mostly, which is quite rich!
It is worth mentioning that the hotel gym is undoubtedly a great choice for fitness enthusiasts. The ironing area is comparable to the general social gym, and you can train your chest, back, shoulders and legs☺️! I will choose this hotel next time I go on a business trip!
