This AC Hotel Birmingham is situated in a good, convenient location in city centre. Numerous restaurants and cafes nearby. Staff was very polite and helpful. Room is clean, comfy and reasonably sized, but the mattress is a little bit too soft for me personally. Highly recommended for traveller !!!

I would recommend the Holiday Inn highly as .my overnight stay on 5/2/24 was excellent. Free shuttles to and from train station, helpful professional staff, lovely room and good restaurant food at reasonable prices. I will definitely book again if catching early morning flights. Shuttle bus starts at 5am but was fine for my 7.40am flight although long queues at security checks.

The aircon system was totally sucks, it happened to numbers of rooms, even we changed the room it wasn’t help. The staff told me that the maintenance can only be conducted on weekdays (our stays in during weekends) !!!! We can’t breath while we were sleeping, no choice but to open the windows. Our room is facing to the Main Street with heavy traffic even siren sounds from police car. Luckily we just stay for 1 night. Once is enough !

Our stay was pleasant the room was a great size and the hotel is in a great location. However, some of the furniture looked a little beaten up and the chair in the bedroom was stained. There was also a few stains in the bathroom. It would have been great if there had been a mini fridge in the room. We would however stay again

Less than 10 mins away from New Street Rail station so very near Bull Ring and other attractions as Birmingham Library which looks like a cake!Amazing! Easy check in and out. Hotel has a luggage area so on check out we managed to stroll around comfortably. Friendly staff like Elsa. Good breakfast. I love the vegetarian sausages and the cute, soft little pancakes. Coffee is important for me so I loved that they have 3 coffee machines so no long queue! The reception area has a very nice smell. I want to buy the air freshener they use☺️ Clean room with a very nice view. Had a good stay except that some nearby guests would rather close their doors so loudly that it disrupted my sleep. I just wish people could be a bit respectful.

The check-in was easy & efficient, as it took few minutes. Location was walkable to Birmingham New Street Station. It was in quiet location just opposite to Snow Hill One & Two. Price was very reasonable. As usual, room was clean & tidy. Free breakfast was good, but bit busy. I lost my right earbud airpod on bed. I called & recovered it the same day. Great service!

A hotel that’s perfect for public transportation and by car: it’s this. On the square opposite Coventry Rail Station along the main road with drop off access. Part of the IHG brand, the hotel is stuffed with modern, quirky colourful decor including a silver open top Austin Healy in the reception area. The ground floor is one big open space that navigates from lobby to bar to restaurant/breakfast area and an exit where the outdoors semi enclosed seating area is. It’s Britain, so no heaters or covers but it’s an acceptable smoking area! Upon checking in we received a 20% voucher off all the F&B which doesn’t happen often. The kitchen was closed by 9 but we and our friends enjoyed a drink in the bar area. The room was super lovely, all brand new, super clean and nicely decorated. Personalised smart TV but the smart function didn’t work alas! Overall: a wonderful experience!

The staff's attention is discriminatory, for several nights 1 they did not put towels, another night they left us without shampoo and they added water to the hand soap, additionally they checked what was served for breakfast, they checked every day very carefully. We left very sad, we couldn't wait to run away from this hotel, we were very bored.

Stayed for 1 night prior to early flight. It was further from the airport than I thought it was. The bed was comfortable and bedding spotless The hubby liked the fact he could see the aircraft take off and land from the room so wasn’t disappointed that it was further than anticipated. The bathroom was adequate but I’m not sure about having a shower curtain instead of a screen but it did look clean. The meals we had were nice and a couple of drinks in bar. Hospitally tray was adequate too. You need to ask reception for hairdryers but not an issue. Overall it’s great value for money and we would stay again. All the staff we came into contact were friendly and professional at all times

BBumblebee06I stayed at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Birmingham for 3 nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is in a perfect location—central, convenient, and great for exploring the city. It has a luxurious feel throughout, with modern decor and a very clean environment. The staff were lovely—always polite, helpful, and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The room was well-equipped with great amenities including coffee pods, tea, and coffee, as well as both still and sparkling water provided daily (a bottle of each). A big plus was the in-room entertainment setup—you can easily connect your phone to the TV via the hotel Wi-Fi to stream your favourite shows on apps like Netflix and Prime Video. Overall, I was really impressed with the comfort, service, and attention to detail. I’d definitely recommend Leonardo Royal Hotel Birmingham for a stylish and relaxing city break.

GGuest UserWell located in the centre of Coventry, the room was reasonably spacious with ensuite facilities. Reception staff were quick to deal with me upon arrival. Make sure you take photo ID as this is required for check-in. My only gripe was that the curtain in my room didn't cover the entire window, so light was streaming in from very early in the morning. Dinner and breakfast are available at an extra cost, but I can't comment on the quality because I dined elsewhere.

GGuest UserHotel is not in a bad location for trips out… But the hotel needs a lot of improvements! The breakfast buffet you are left waiting for them to replenish food items , you have to keep asking staff where are the cups for tea as none replaced there was queues because of the location of the toaster, be careful if you ask for water to be replaced in room as I was charged but then got a refund after complaining..the executive room was good but I know the standard rooms are not great. The staff were good but there needs better organisation. The pool area dated and no set time they seem to pick and choose open close times. We had quite a few issues not all mentioned here which we told reception about we was not happy and noticed other customers complaining.. we would not stay again and certainly not 4 star 3 at most .. can’t comment on spa treatments as did not use but looking at the spa I’m sure there are better ones around. Golf course 9 hole in good condition but outside hotel area need tidying up bit scruffy.

GGuest UserLovely staff, young and rushed off their feet, stayed for one night, stayed before 2018. Confused I paid for the privilege to stay in the hotel to attend the horse racing and watch Madness. Yet was confused that the hotel let anyone in to use the bar, from the race course when there was ample bars in the race ground for anyone not staying at the hotel. After Madness finished the only bar open is the hotel bar, because show is finished 10.00 home time and they want you out if you’re not staying at the hotel, which is fine, but if you are staying in the hotel as many of us were , bar was full, rammed so of course people wanted to sit outside because there are tables for the hotel outside but security had been told not to let anyone outside with drinks, how stupid is this, I understand you want to close the race course, so you need to restrict people from using the hotel if they aren’t staying there, and don’t be greedy and take peoples money knowing your going to be 60 people plus in a reception bar area, tiny thing like covdi happen few years back you should only serve hotel guest because that’s what you are, a hotel. And help the poor bar staff, young girl on her own, blokes walking out with 3/4 pints not paying and she’s on her own can’t chase them. Ps didn’t stay for breakfast too expensive, I was going to but even though it had increased in price quite a bit, but remembered it was cold last time we stayed.

GGuest Userthe room is good enough for 3 persons, though the sofa beds are actually smaller than the photos. well equipped with 2 head cooking hobs, small fridge, dish washer, microwave with grill function and sufficient utensils, and also instant coffee were provided. the water pressure of the shower is super good and water is hot enough but the toilet is a bit small, you have to hide just next to the toilet bowl then you have enough space to open the door. The down side is the service of the reception & housekeeping team. After we got the room cards, we couldn't access to the room and needed to go down to ask the receptionist to fix the cards and come back to open the room. After entered the room, we found that the water in toilet sink didn't go, we asked the housekeeping staff who was just working at the next room to have a look at it but who said we needed to go to the receptionist (as there's no inter-room telephone, we have to go down again). Then the receptionist arranged another room which was downstairs for us. We booked for 2 nights, when we came back to the hotel the next evening, the room cards didn't work, again. The receptionist claimed that it might be due to the cards being put together with the mobile phone that might damage the cards. However, we were sure the cards weren't put together with the phones! It would be perfect if a small box of tissue could be provided.

GGuest UserA really good hotel which only fails to score higher for the following reasons. The optional breakfast on the first morning of my stay was so good, and value for money, I booked for the following two mornings of my stay. Day two, again excellent quality of food and service. Day three was a complete disappointment. The cooked food was greasy and well passed it's best from the heated buffet. Service from the staff was slow, tea was only luke warm. If this had of been day one, I certainly wouldn't have booked again. The room was equipped with everything I needed, tea and coffee, iron and board, additional fan and heating. I felt the 40 inch TV was too large for the size of the room and it was placed on the dressing table which took up about 50% of the area. The TV gad been ”adapted” to the usual ”Hotel Mode” settings and had very limited ”free” channels to view if compared to the standard terrestrial channels in the UK. An online system was used to provide the available media and showed poor latency on several occasions. A major negative being the system had no menu option to select the available stations. Also, the room was not serviced during my three night stay. Not a big issue, but fresh toweling would have scored better. This hotel could easily score better.
