The hotel is easily accessible from Toyama Station's South Exit. Walk to the main intersection, turn right, and it's just a short walk across the street. This is a perfectly adequate business hotel: the rooms are spacious, bright, and impeccably clean. The breakfast selection, however, might start to feel a bit limited if you're staying for three consecutive days. For lunch and dinner, you'll find plenty of options at Toyama Station. Conveniently, there's also a shopping mall directly across from the hotel where you can dine and shop. A definite highlight: one afternoon, I walked to the City Hall Observation Deck and enjoyed a beautiful sunset 🌇!
The hotel is conveniently located very close to the station, ensuring easy access to transportation. It's considerably more spacious than typical Japanese hotels, boasting well-appointed and practical facilities. The service quality is excellent. The comfort and pleasantness are on par with what I've experienced in Toyama, making it ideal for a relaxing vacation.
Beautiful hotel (about 7 min walk to the station) and was a great Ryokan experience as the room was traditional and had a breath-taking view. Futons were sufficiently comfortable - but wished there was the whole Ryokan welcome and fanfare.
Staff was welcoming but did not speak much English though they had papers of English instructions all ready. There was a free shuttle out of the hotel at fixed timings to the nearest Shinkansen (Unazukionsen Station)
Onsen was relaxing and was supplied with good quality products for every aspect of grooming. Lots of vending machines were available, there was a souvenir shop on site though pricey. We just did not enjoy the corridors as it gave out a creepy vibe (due to it being an older establishment), hence, we did not enjoy moving around the hotel). Facilities were beautiful and well preserved.
Food as part of the experience was a good and large helping. We opted for the full seafood experience but it had a lot of sashimi or cured seafood which was not to our own liking (we did not really know what we signed up for, really our fault!) Breakfast was a good spread and really hearty. A lot of traditional and local specialties to experience!
Overall a great stay!

Nice Japanese breakfast. Strategic location to get around Gokayama and Shirakawa. In front of the hotel is the biggest Gassho style house in Japan that has a long history of being owned by samurais and where the emporia family had visited many times and is considered a cultural heritage of Japan.. I would go back to this hotel because of its location.
The service was excellent, and the location was very convenient for getting around. However, I did find two drawbacks. Firstly, the parking isn't located directly on-site; you have to drive a short distance to it, and the parking fee was quite expensive. Secondly, the twin room felt a bit small.
I stayed on a business trip. I decided to New Otani because it was reasonable, but it is the impression that it is a breakfast. The handmade pudding was delicious differently, and I'm glad I stayed there alone. I walked a little to the convenience store and the station, so it seemed that I couldn't come and go on a heavy snowy day.
The smell of tatami mats was very good (^^)
It was a spacious and beautiful room that was too large to stay alone.
I was a little worried that some hair had fallen in the corner of the room because it was too beautiful.
It was good that the large communal bath was also wide 々.
Open air Lu も Maximum でした (≧∀≦)
I was happy to choose my favorite yukata.
Breakfast was delicious and I was able to eat a lot!
Miso soup was the best (^^)
The view from the room was immaculate, but the night view from the corridor was the best (* ^ o ^ *)
It is a hotel that I want to stay again.
The day before I got on the Kurobe Canyon Trolley train, I used it for consecutive nights on the day. Very cozy and nice inn. The bath was also slow, and the dog who welcomed me was very cute and healed. I'm completely tired. I will repeat it when I come to Toyama again.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a 10-minute walk from Unazuki Station. Since there was a heavy storm that day,
It was raining, so it was a bit awkward dragging my suitcase to the hotel. It was just renovated in 2023. There is a little smell in the room and the hot spring is very good! I paid extra to book a private bath. The water quality is so comfortable! The accommodation included dinner and breakfast the next day. The dinner was delicious. A male waiter could speak simple Chinese and had been to Shanghai. Basic communication was no problem. Breakfast the next day was still delicious. This hot spring area is relatively unpopular and there are not many online introductions, but it can avoid the crowds.
RRUCHUNUnazuki Hot Spring Hotel is expensive. The problem is that the waiter who brought in the room does not speak English and is not proficient with the hotel's translation software. As a result, we were told that dinner was in the room, and we were waiting in the room on the 13th floor. It's actually in the private room of the restaurant on the 9th floor. After a quarter of an hour after the appointed time, please ask at the front desk to know the correct way. Dinner and breakfast are good. The room is 12 folds, plus the balcony area after sealing, and the tea is in the entrance. There are special drinking water taps. The pictures of breakfast and dinner can't accommodate, it's not bad. The hot springs are very good, and the male and female outdoor baths change every morning. The scenery is beautiful.
HHO CHINGVery good hotel and the staff are very kind and helpful. It may mainly target local customers, so the general foreign language skills are not very good.
