best hotel during my whole trip! room is clean and big. laundry room is self-service, just buy token at reception. detergent would be added automatically, no need to bring your own. bring seasoning and cooking oil if u plan to cook. they would give u washing liquid, sponge and towel at reception. right next to the metro and train station. some convenience store nearby.

My stay at the Avani Museum Quarter Hotel was truly exceptional. The prime location near museums and the tram made exploring effortless, while the local charm of De Pijp added an authentic touch to my experience. The hotel's cleanliness and modern design were impressive, ensuring a comfortable stay. The well-equipped gym, though cozy, provided everything I needed for my workouts. Additionally, the convenience of bike parking right outside was a delightful perk. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend the Avani Museum Quarter Hotel for a trustworthy and positive stay, reflecting the best of what the city has to offer.

The cleanliness is truly top notch, the room is kept very clean, whether the sheets, bathroom or kitchen are well organized to feel comfortable and reassured. The hotel takes great care in every cleaning so that guests can enjoy a hygienic environment. As for the surrounding amenities, the hotel is very conveniently located with supermarkets, restaurants and cafes nearby, whether you want to buy some snacks or something to eat. Moreover, the transportation is quite convenient, whether by subway or bus, it is very easy to get to the city center or other tourist attractions. Overall, ID Apartment Hotel Amsterdam is excellent both in terms of cleanliness and surrounding facilities, making it a highly recommended accommodation option!

This time, because I remembered the wrong flight time, I booked a room (non-refundable hotel) for an extra night. After communicating with Ctrip customer service and the hotel front desk, they helped to solve the problem.

The hotel is about 20 minute walking from centraal station or 10 minute walking from the nearest metro station. But, they provide shuttle to and from the centraal station. The room is spacious with bathtub. The service is very good. The gym is quite large. It’s a nice place for pampering oneself.

Stayed here for 8 days. The hotel is located in the center of the old town where must-see attractions are concentrated. It has convenient transportation and many surrounding bus routes. It is convenient for eating, drinking and shopping. I booked a loft room with a kitchen. The room is large and has a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and other kitchen appliances. It is as convenient as living at home. The disadvantage is that the bedroom is upstairs and you have to climb stairs several times a day. The hotel room can only be booked for more than seven nights, so after 10 days, I went back to Amsterdam and stayed for four days and stayed in other hotels.

The hotel apartment was satisfactory during the trip to four European countries. The decoration was elegant, clean and tidy. The hotel location seemed remote but was actually in a residential area, close to the main road. The entrance was not big. A little dark. It seemed to be 395 from the airport. Anyway, it was 3-something. Because I chose to take a taxi when I went to the hotel for the first time, I regretted it when I saw the bus. It was just a few blocks away from the hotel entrance. There was a gas station opposite. You can go there directly on Google Map. It takes no more than ten minutes to take the bus from the entrance to the city center. 3-something can get you there. However, the 3-day GVB card cannot be used. It is not from the same company.

Cost effective hotel. Quite many people stayed in this hotel which I didn’t aware while booking. Not bad. This is the only hotel I stayed on this trip that there’s separation between shower and bathroom, which is really good to my family.

It was fantastic! The room was clean, had a welcome drink, and everything was so comfortable. I was quite surprised how a hostel can be this clean! If you're looking for a place to stay in Amsterdam, you wouldn't regret making the choice of staying here.

GGuest UserOh my, I loved staying at BUNK Hotel Amsterdam. I was first attracted by the good reviews of this young hostel/hotel hybrid, booked it far enough in advance for an early bird discount, and just a couple of days into my seven day stay, I realized I'd truly gotten a great deal. BUNK Amsterdam is fantastic! Ugh, where to start? I rented a pod, which is in a large room containing about 50 pods. Pods are preferable to bunk beds or other kinds of barrack-style hostels. There is privacy, there is enough space for you to get comfortable, change your clothes, the mattress is fine, the blanket and pillow are very cushy and cozy, the curtain is thick and heavy. The lighting situation inside the pod is unique, one of those switches with a lot of color and tone options, so you can really light the pod to your mood. I slept very well considering I was in a room with 30-50 other people at any given time. You also get a private locker beneath your pod that can fit a suitcase and a backpack with relative ease, unless you've overpacked. The bathroom is non-gendered, all the stalls are very clean and private. As a guy, it felt weird to use the bathroom while women were in it, so I blasted music in my earbuds to tune the world out while I did my business, ha. The showers are in a separate room and also very private. The water pressure is great and the showerheads are waterfall style. They have towels available at all hours. If you don't see any on the rack, just ask and there they shall be. The biggest surprise for me here was the restaurant. The restaurant attached to BUNK is basically a 4-star restaurant with 2-star prices. They have a full bar with well-priced drinks and very skilled, very handsome bartenders/baristas who can craft a wide arrays of cocktails. The chefs are also highly skilled, and the servers are attentive and kind. The menu is diverse, ranging from avocado toast to an interesting Indonesia beef stew-like dish that I can only describe as mind-blowingly delicious. They also featured a ”taco” that was very tasty despite really not being a taco at all. My favorite breakfast (and perhaps favorite overall meal) was their Eggs Bennie with fresh smoked salmon. For dessert, on multiple occasions I ordered their popular Snickers dessert, which was peanut ice cream with caramel and shards of chocolate and brittle. I meant to do more foodie tourism during my week in Amsterdam, but the food was so good I wound up taking a good percentage of my meals in the BUNK restaurant. I snapped some pictures of the food I mentioned; it should go without saying that I am not a pro photographer. The front desk is manned (or womaned) 24/7, so anytime there was an issue or I had a question, someone was available. They are very attentive with regards to customer service. I should also note with their keycard system and network of entrances and hallways, I felt very safe. They care about security there and take proper, non-intrusive methods to make sure everyone is comfortable. I should also mention the facility is just beautiful. It's built within a very old church, there is a library, plants everywhere, a calming vibe throughout, and a quiet room for work or study. BUNK is located in the North section of Amsterdam (Noord). Noord is the quieter part of Amsterdam, suburb feeling as opposed to the city vibe elsewhere. It's extremely easy to get to the Central area from here though. There is a ferry about a 10 minute walk away that takes you to the central area, as well as a tram a five minute walk away that takes you directly to Centraal Station. I really hit a home run choosing this place, BUNK Amsterdam truly delivered the goods. Great building, great amenities, great staff, great restaurant, great location. I would recommend this to anyone traveling solo or as a couple/small group. Very small group. It's great to stay for a couple of days or a whole week. I loved my experience here and would stay again if/when I return to Amsterdam. Great place.

LLauraVReview of Our Stay at a Hotel in Amsterdam We recently stayed at a hotel in Amsterdam and had a mix of positive and negative experiences. First, let's start with the positives: What We Liked: The premises were quite nice. There's a bar downstairs, which is a great spot to unwind. Additionally, there are a few supermarkets and a traditional Dutch bakery right across the street, which made grabbing snacks and breakfast super convenient. The location is fantastic—just an 8-minute walk to the train station and a 4-minute walk to the bus and tram stops, making it easy to get around the city. The room was just as shown in the pictures. The mattress was comfortable, and there was ample space to organize our belongings during our stay. The receptionists were really kind and welcoming, which made our check-in and stay more pleasant. We also enjoyed the style of the hotel, especially the lovely lobby with two pianos, a comfortable sofa, and some books and local information to relax and read. What We Didn't Like: While we had read other reviews about noise issues and poor sound isolation, we thought we'd be okay with it, considering our home is located in a town center near nightclubs. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. The noise wasn't from people talking but from doors slamming. From 11 pm until 3 am, there was a constant door slamming that made the floor and walls in our room vibrate every two to three minutes. It felt like we were next to a staff room or had a very active neighbor. To be able to sleep, we had to watch a movie until the slamming finally stopped. This constant noise didn't allow us to rest properly, and we woke up later than we wanted the next day. The slamming continued on the following day, so we decided to stay out as late as possible to avoid it. Fortunately, around 2 am, the noise decreased, and we managed to sleep. Additionally, there was a funny smell in the corridors and the toilet. I found it unpleasant, but my husband wasn't bothered by it. If you are sensitive to smells, this might be something to consider. However, if you're not particularly sensitive, like my husband, it might not be an issue. Conclusion: Overall, while the hotel's location, amenities, and staff were great, the noise from door slamming and the smell in the corridors were significant drawbacks for us. If these issues could be addressed, it would make for a much more pleasant stay.

LLinaChecks Visibility Details Reuse details Title (required) STEIGENBERGER AIRPORT HOTEL AMSTERDAM SO CLEAN AND COMFY Description Feel so happy when I step in to the room, after fly long distance from Indonesia. The check in process is so fast, she looks very professional in her job. I forgot her name, so sorry, because I am so tried. The room is so clean, bight and room size is great. I love the bedsheets so clean, white and crispy. I didn't take breakfast so I can't tell. I definitely will be back to Steigenberger Airport Hotel. I used to stay in other hotel for so many years, until they make me so disappointed on my last stay 2023. And when I found this hotel and check in, hmm I feel so stupid why I was so loyal to previous hotel, I should change sooner. Now I am happy and will be their customer, highly recommend!!!! seeing is believing, watch my youtube channel for your better view perspective. GGuest UserStaying at ClinkNOORD Hostel in Amsterdam was such a fun and memorable experience! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the friendly and upbeat staff, who were always ready with a smile and great recommendations for exploring the city. The location, tucked away in the trendy Noord district, gave me a chance to experience a quieter, more local side of Amsterdam while still being just a quick (and free!) ferry ride from the bustling city center. What I loved most about ClinkNOORD was the vibe—it’s lively and social without feeling overwhelming. The common areas, like ZincBAR and the library, were perfect for meeting fellow travelers or just relaxing after a day of exploring. One evening, I joined a live music event at the bar, and it turned into one of the highlights of my trip. The hostel also organizes activities like walking tours and cocktail workshops, which made it easy to connect with others. The dorms were clean and comfortable, with thoughtful touches like privacy panels and USB ports by each bed—small details that made a big difference. I also appreciated how secure everything felt, with lockers for my belongings and keycard access throughout. If I had to nitpick, breakfast was decent but not amazing—I ended up grabbing food from local spots instead. But honestly, with so many great cafés nearby, it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, ClinkNOORD felt like more than just a place to sleep—it was an experience in itself. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, it’s the kind of place where you feel at home while still soaking up Amsterdam’s unique energy. I’d definitely stay here again!

IIka_EllyThere are way better hotels around the airport. We were a family of 3 traveling, and so we booked a room for 3. When we arrived in the room, the sofa bed was out, but there were no sheets in it. We called reception to get sheets. A lady came and made the bed. But only when she had left we realized she hadn't put a cover in the bed. We called again and somehow came with a cover. When it was time to have a shower, there were only 2 towels (and by the way, no small towels at all). For a third time, we had to call, and this time, ask them for a towel. The bathroom was pretty old and rundown. There was a big carack on the floor, painting coming off in the shower and mold stains. Apart from that, the room and bathroom were spacious. The next day, we left in the morning and came back at 5 pm. The room had still not been cleaned, so we called reception to get it done. Straight after that, we left. When we came back later, someone had been there to clean. There were clean towels, but they had also left the dirty ones. What's more, they hadn't cleaned the bathroom floor. Dogs are welcome, so that's a big plus. And there's a beautiful grassy area with a pond, just beside the hotel. Perfect for walking them. Parking is available but it's rather expensive. We wanted to do a late check-out in the afternoon, as we had two dogs and a boy with us. It would have been much easier for them to stay in the hotel while we were doing our business in Amsterdam until 4 pm. So we called around midnight and asked reception if it would be possible to check out at that time, at an extra cost. She said it depends if the hotel is fully booked, in which case we can't and that we have to call back at 7.30am. So at 7.30, we called and were told that they are fully booked so impossible to get a late check-out. Which means that between midnight and 7.30 in the morning, they got fully booked... I suppose it's possible, but it felt more like they were not willing to help. The boy and the dogs spent their day waiting for us in a café. I wouldn't go back to this hotel as we had a bad experience. We expected better from Radisson.
