Hotels With Bar in Mimaropa, Philippines

Really nice resort. Clean, modern, several beautiful pools which were never very full and the staff is incredible. They help in any way they can, including arranging for a last minute boat tour for us well outside of their usual hours and seemed happy to make it work (add the guides they work with are fantastic too). It was a very peaceful and comfortable stay overall.  The one issue is the food, they put a lot of effort into it and have a very large breakfast buffet every day, but the food just isn’t that good. There's one restaurant in the resort and there aren’t many (any?) other food options in the area, so it’s pretty relevant. The food is a bit bland or with strange flavor combinations. And worse, it takes a comically long time to get served, even if just a sandwich, and it’s usually cold when it comes. This happened at all 4 of the meals we had there outside of breakfast.  But... It honestly didn't bother us that much. Partly bc we're not big foodies, but more importantly, bc the staff is so incredibly friendly and helpful. Everyone goes out if the way to make sure you get everything you want and then some. I hope they can fix the food issues and this place would be 5 star

The service was perfect all around. After a delayed flight and a long time travelling by plane I arrived late my first day. The staff there at the desk was very understanding and were quick to get me to my room so I could sleep no hassle just straight there. The hotel has a relaxed friendly atmosphere, amazing breakfast buffet and staff that are always ready to help. Me and my partner attended the Friday evening buffet which included live music. These events and services are posted clearly at the Hotel lobby and the Staff know exactly what these events and services entail so there was never confusion about what they were included. Me and my partner also went on Island hopping tours on two of the days we were there. All I needed to do was to tell the desk we wanted to go and they made the call and setup everything. The hotel for me was almost perfect the only downside is the busy road outside. The hotel does provided ear plugs but I personally didn't need them.

I had the most amazing time during my stay at The Funny Lion. First and most important thing to mention is how amazing the staff were. From the coffee bar to the restaurant, every person treated me with such warmth and grace, and some of them even remembered my name. Secondly, the food was great. The morning breakfast had a great array of options with some Filipino elements which I looked forward to every morning. Enjoying some garlic rice and eggs next to the sunlit pool was a perfect start to the morning. Location was great too, close to the airport and a short ride away from nice cafes (nothing to too far in PP to be honest). You could also take a boat or kayak out to the sand bar which is such a nice touch to complete the full experience offered by the resort. Rooms were big, clean and amenities were amazing. All in all, I only have praises for TFL, I will definitely stay here again should I ever return to Palawan.

We stayed at this resort in February with our family, and we highly recommend it. The location is beautiful, with a stunning natural setting that remains quite wild, providing the perfect backdrop for a property that includes a hotel, villas, and glamping accommodations. We stayed in the hotel, but we also recommend the villas, which were occupied by our friends—they are nestled in lush greenery and are very well maintained. There is a small pool available for guests located in the glamping area. The resort also offers relaxing massages and the opportunity to book excursions. The restaurant offers a limited menu, but the dishes are well-prepared, and the pizza, in particular, meets high Italian standards. The only small suggestion we would make is to improve the breakfast selection slightly. The staff is incredibly kind, always helpful, and consistently welcoming with warm smiles. A special thanks to the General Manager, who was always present and attentive to guests’ needs.

An idyllic location just a stones throw away from the el Nido beach. Beautiful and large pool with views of the beach. This hotel is ideal for solo travellers as it’s a very short walk to the town which has an abundance of nice bars and restaurants. It is also a short walk to the boat tours. The staff were friendly and welcoming, helping me to book my island hopping tour.

Overall I do like this hotel as the staffs are helpful and polite to make my stay memorable. Although the hotel is a little distant from Sabang town, they do have speedboat to ferry guests in and out. It has nice room with balcony and sea view for a relaxing stay.

Amazing Stay at Charlie’s El Nido Hotel! We recently spent three wonderful days at Charlie’s El Nido Hotel, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The hotel’s peaceful ambiance stood out the most—it’s perfectly tucked away from the noise and bustling nightlife, making it the ideal retreat for relaxation and unwinding. The daily breakfast was a delightful highlight of our stay. The buffet offered a wide variety of choices, and the menu changed every day, keeping things fresh and exciting. Whether you’re craving local flavors or classic breakfast staples, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. What really made our stay special was the amazing staff. They were always polite, cheerful, and willing to help with anything we needed. Their genuine smiles and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The free shuttle service to and from El Nido town and Lio Beach was such a convenient bonus. It made exploring the area stress-free and added to the overall ease of our vacation. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay in El Nido with top-notch service and excellent amenities, Charlie’s El Nido Hotel is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to come back!

Lime Resort El Nido offers a mixed experience. While the infinity pool is a wonderful feature, providing stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere, other aspects of the hotel could be improved. The gym is quite small, making it less appealing for those looking for a solid workout during their stay. Additionally, the breakfast selection was underwhelming, lacking variety and quality, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the hotel provides a decent stay, but there’s room for improvement in certain areas. If a scenic pool is a priority, it’s a great choice, but if you're looking for top-notch facilities and dining, you might want to explore other options.

The whole trip was a blast thanks to the hotel. Check-in was smooth, they even upgraded one of our rooms because they werent able to give us 2 adjacent rooms because the whole floor are fullybooked. Free breakfast are great, varying everyday. They also were attentive in giving all of our needs. Pool service also provided towels. And dont forget to book massage because it was great. They also have van transfers available, just message the hotel on their page. its 250php per way. You have to get it or else you will pay 700php for a tricycle ride. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is a 10-minute tricycle ride to the town.

I had such a great experience staying at Hue Hotels and Resorts El Nido. The location is super convenient, it’s close to everything! Restaurants, shops, and the starting points for island-hopping tours are all just a short walk or tricycle ride away, which made getting around really easy. The best part for me was the rooftop. The view from up there is stunning — you can see the dramatic limestone cliffs and surrounding greenery. It’s the perfect spot to relax after a day of island tours or to catch the sunset with a drink in hand. The hotel itself is modern and stylish, but still feels relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and always happy to help, which made the stay even better. If you’re looking for a comfortable, accessible place to stay in El Nido with amazing views and a great location, Hue is a solid choice. I’d definitely come back.
