The most convenient location when getting off of the train, directly across the street from the station!
The hostel is a 15 minute walk from the town main street and has a restaurant right next door, also.
The hostel itself is neat, although there is no elevator it's only got 3 floors and the stairs were spacious enough so getting to the room wasn't too bad.
The mixed 6bed dorm on the 3rd floor was rather small, it may be challenging to move around it should all the beds be filled and everyone would have luggage. The pillow and duvet covers were really nice, clean and felt good on the skin. The room temperature was good. Both, the towels and the room locker were extra (CHF 3 for the towel, CHF 2 for the locker). The window was overlooking the train station, so although it wasn't ”mountain view”, it was entertaining watching people get off the Bernina Express and take selfies and posing as groups before hopping back on.
The bathrooms are separated for male/female and are spacious, the female portion was clean and the water was nice and hot.
The common areas had seating, electric kettle, books.. but nothing much was happening there.
The restaurant seemed cozy with its fireplace, it is a shame it is limited to certain hours :( and the guests are expected to leave promptly. Breakfast ends at 10am and the staff does check to make sure everyone is gone. Dinner is 6-8pm I believe, and again, after dinner the place is locked down. It would have been lovely to be able to sit by the fireplace after dinner.
Breakfast was tasty and provided some hard boiled eggs, yogurts, muesli, cereal, breads, jelly, honey...
Reception staff was very friendly and helpful!
Overall a great stay and I would stay again.
Clean and spacious double room with nice view of the forest by the St. Moritz lake. Breakfast (included) is adequate with variety of cheese and bread. Takes less than 10 min by bus from St. Moritz train but only 1 per hour during the season (April), so plan your itinerary accordingly.
Nice hotel. Our room could be a little cleaner. Lot of hair and coffee spill on the carpets. You get free city public transportation ticket. Which was nice.
We had two reservations for two rooms over trip due to the booking location - the staff has combined them to one, so we didn't have to change - for 5 stars. When we left, we wanted to use a late check-out, which also worked and all even free - :)
The hotel is super - right at the entrance to the parsing railway. We had a Deluxe room on the street and because of the ice parking it was a little noisy in the evening.
The Chesa restaurant is also very recommended - great price-performance ratio and very good food, too, not overfyld!
The breakfast is abundant and we found everything we needed including omelet and egg-Benedict freshly prepared by order (included). For an 5-Sterne hotel, however, it could have been a little more - whether it was a larger fruit selection, a variety of seeds/grains and nuts, the Prosecco or the Alliance meat, what was not all.
The rooms are greatly renovated - the wood smells great and we have felt very well. Only some outdoor areas (lift, some passages) are not yet renovated - in the lift you have unfortunately smelled the age by the intensive winter athletes sometimes.
The spa area is a little small for the size of the hotel, the steam bath was unfortunately broken - but for us it was enough. A massage booking on the same day was not possible - even if we missed guests who did not understand what it was - here it means pre-booking early - then the SPA was enough.
We would come back in any case - a great hotel in Davos with a fair price-performance ratio, just to get real 5-Sterne-Feeling, one or other place is likely to be sliped up.
They were already several times in the hotel's camping and now the first time in the hotel room. Very nice and maintained hotel with great steam sauna and friendly staff. Drinks from the minibar as well as tickets for the local bus were included. It had everything we needed to recover for four days and to be in the wellness area. We're happy to come back!
Nice place which located in the top of the hill, a bit hard to find since name at tue sign not really match with the name booked from the app. But food was good have many types of food and clean.
Great hotel in beautiful, natural location with parking facilities (cost). Wellness area with sauna and pool as highlight. Very clean, friendly staff and delicious breakfast. A total excellent stay! ”
This hotel is well located for bikers near the side valleys of Sertig and Dietschma. Breakfast was very good and the room comfortable. The hotel has a loading station for electric vehicles that unfortunately has not worked.
Unfortunately, check-in was a bit chaotic. No effort was made to check whether the rooms were ready an hour before the official check-in began. The crowds were accordingly large. As there is no air conditioning in the hotel, the rooms are very warm on some hot days despite the altitude of Davos. It is therefore all the more surprising to have a very warm blanket in bed in the summer. Half board was fine. But breakfast was overrun by bus tourists. All in all, unfortunately, not a 4-star experience this time. This hotel is better outside of peak season or on days without bus tourists.

SSteffen HESCHE 1The hotel is good located. Near by a bus station. Hotel is new and modern, however we have seen a lot of things which needs to be repaired. Parking is expensive with 24 euros per day.
Smell in our room was terrible on arrival. Until I noticed that in the shower the cleaner removed the water outlet so that the bad smell could come in. Only one of the restaurants was open and not much of selection is possible. I would not recommend the restaurant. Waiter said to my daughter that the spaghetti from kids menu is too small and he will make it bigger, then charged 28 euros instead of 18. The Spaghetti was tooooo Al dente. Most of the waiters are unfriendly and let us not feel welcomed. Overall: we will not book this hotel again.
My friend got a handicapped room even he booked the higher category. It seems they had no other room but they did not tell him during checkin. When he asked later they offered another room after 2 days. We complained that we don't like the room but they said many people like it.. Hey, hotel management, when somebody pays so much for a hotel who is not handicapped he don't like a shower curtain instead of nice glass walls, he don't need open space concept cabinets, he needs normal cabinets with doors, he may like to sit on the sofa.. But there was no sofa.
Heating? Not on by purpose. Only when we complained they turned the heater on after 1 day. Instead they provided mobile heater . We talked to other guests who had the same issue. 5* hotel?
The pool temperature was way too low. The noise there unacceptable due to the design which is simple painted concrete walls. Spa are is 3 star only. Nothing which let you stay there for long.
Breakfast was quite good we enjoyed this the most.
To leave the hotel everybody is using the way over the ski room...terrible layout. The layout is not well planned.

GGrace Chee Wai AngThe location was further then anticipated. The room was exactly the same as shown in the ads.
Though yhe room we had selected was tiny, it was clean and the attached bathroom was big
However, the glass panel sitting on top of the side of bathtub isn't fixed, making getting in and out of the tub unsafe, as the glass panel is the only element that one could hold on to in order to step out of the tub. The receptionists weren't too interested in attenting to hotel guests.
But, overall experience was elevated due to its design/structure uniqueness; an ex-jail building. It's communal kitchen and lounge space were great space where we'd spent some of our time. There were also a lot of common shower rooms and WCs within the building, which was great as the 4 of us needn't queue for the washroom especially in the early morning.
ZZhenweiningmengI chose to rest in the town of Chur for one night and take the glacier train to Zermatt the next day. It was a good choice. Chur was quiet and fresh. I accidentally discovered a century-old chocolate shop and a 50-year-old glassware shop.
The hotel is very convenient, a 10-minute walk from the train station. The room is large and comfortable, and you can see the beautiful scenery by opening the window
CChanShared bathroom was better than expected. It was clean and accessible. Water was hot and high pressure! WiFi speed was good as well. Theres no fan/aircon but we opened the window and the temperature was great. Only thing was that the restaurant was right downstairs, so it could get pretty noisy at night.
MMYPCLucky we booked the Hauser. It is in the middle of town area with the best and most popular restaurant of its own in town. We got a balcony room with stunning view of town and mountain. Room is spacious and basic with every amenities you need. The efficient free shuttle back to train station was bonus. The staff helping the arrangement were all super friendly and helpful.
We also enjoyed our breakfast. What's more you can expect from St Moritz?
GGuest UserStaff were helpful, especially since I arrived so late. Showers, toilets and room were very clean, and medium valuables lockers for CHF2 coin (returned on unlocking) available in room, and space to hang your jacket.
There were self serve pay-as-you go drinks and some light snacks available downstairs. Coming by foot, it's a bit of a walk uphill for about 15mins. Brekkie is short availability but has hot/cold selections. Your nearest food/coffee (bakery) is 15-20 min walk away.
Ski lift pass is $15 at front desk, go for the views and trails.
GGuest UserNice hotel in a small, quiet village. We stayed there for two nights, before and after doing the Bernina Express. Great location - trip down to Tirano and back easily done in the one day. Train links then available back via Chur or Davos.
Lady on reception didn't speak much English, but was very helpful and easy to sort things out with. Room clean, tidy and quiet.
Grocery shop next to hotel entrance was an extra convenience. Walk down from the train station was a bit steep, but a local bus runs hourly.
GGuest UserGreat little hotel. Recently renovated with a lift (elevator) and fresh decor. Very comfortable rooms, great beds and bedding and excellent ensuite. Fairly quiet location even though in the heart of town and surrounded by old town sights. Hundreds of restaurants nearby. Good buffet breakfast of usual European variety. Helpful, friendly staff.Fridge and coffee maker in room (no cooking allowed). Overall great experience. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
