Perfect hotel in every thing , early check-in and free upgrade to marina room , friendly and professional stuff in every department ,the most clean hotel I had ever seen. You can't get better view than Pickalbatros Citadel ever. I met a serious problem in check in after the cheerful welcoming form every one of stuff. The problem was that my reservation rate from trip.com was not for Egyptian people and I have to pay a difference fees to the hotel about 15 USD, Mr. Mahmoud and Mr. Mohamed Rashed from the reservation team told me that issue and asked me to contact with the customer support team of trip.com . Once I contacted trip.com customer support team they solved the problem in only 5 mins and covered the difference for me. I payed the hotel and trip.com compensate them for me. Thank trip.com & Pickalbatros Citadel. I will come again for sure, and my next reservations will be by trip.com as a trusted site.

The garden pool and cats in the hotel are great. The scenery is very beautiful. I took a lot of nice photos. I don’t think the food is particularly delicious, but it is rich. The juice is not freshly squeezed and is not tasty. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic, the service attitude is good, and the office efficiency is very high. There is also an interactive Egyptian dance performance in the evening. The lighting in the room is a little dim. Many facilities are relatively old. The charging port needs to use a conversion plug. The toiletries in the bathroom are actually shampoo and shower gel two-in-one. But overall, this hotel is worth choosing because it is still very cost-effective.

It was a perfect experience for me. Me and my wife had fun so much. I strongly recommend Hotel Pick Albatros Resort Palace. Their services were awesome. There is only one serious issue I had. I wanted to join Orangerr Bay tour with my wife. Hotel Reception suggested me to work with Mr. Ayman Kady and Mr. Kady managed us a boat tour company called ”Ayaa”. I wanted to go diving but there was a misunderstanding. There was a one diving instructor guy of ”Ayaa” boat tour company. He was very rude towards guests. He was giving me attidude because of misunderstanding but also there were another couples who faced organisational issues of Ayaa as well. I asked him why he is giving attidude towards us and suddenly he started to shout at me and other 2 couples. He used many bad words against Germans and Deutschland. He mentioned that we have to act like according to his wishes because we are on his boat and in his country otherwise he would kill us diving insttuctor mentioned. Anyway I called Mr. Ayman Kady immediately when I was on the boat and thanks god there was internet connection eventhough it was too low and he called his boss and we changed boat tour immediately in diving break. Thanksfully he saved my day to be destroyed because my wife so scared and very unhappy. Eventhough It was nice experience but I do not suggest you to work ”Ayaa” boat tour company you can mentione that to Tour guide Me. Ayman Kady of Pick Albatros Resort Palace Hotel.

Hotel near Soma Bay,Hurghada 100% of visitors choose this area
QQINGSHENG 2018.03.21
The hotel is located in Soma Bay on the Red Sea, more than 40 kilometers from Hurghada Airport, not the majority of people living in Hurghada and Marti Bay. This position has advantages and disadvantages: the disadvantage is that there is no supporting business, there is no business to buy, no way to take a taxi, only the hotel car (no expensive); the advantage is quiet, the entire bay only Westin, Sheraton, Kempins Base and a diving club, so the beaches on the other side are European and American foreigners, did not see other Chinese. The Westin’s beach is far from the hotel and the hotel will be transported with the shuttle bus, so it is inconvenient to play with the sea. But we went to the Westin golf course, which was great. The facilities of the hotel are of course good, the building is renovated and the room pool gym breakfast, etc. are top notch. But I have to spit on the service. When checking in in the lobby, the attitude of the front desk was polite on the surface, but the room for us was particularly bad. I specially booked the golf sea view room and gave it to the far side. Since Soma Bay has not been fully developed, it is now undergoing major construction, giving me only 200 meters of work space in the room, which seriously affects the landscape and rest. I suggested that I had to change a room. The front desk lady was very reluctant to say that there was no sea view room. Then I insisted on asking, only to say that there was only a lower floor facing the room on the edge of the atrium pool. Later, when I was playing, I was close to the original room and found that there was no one in the area. If I stayed, I was the only one who lived near the construction site. After returning, I complained to Ctrip, and the hotel actually told us that Ctrip had changed the room. The sea view room has been upgraded to a pool room. The room service is basically not available. The service during the meal is also normal. After pouring the coffee, even if you add milk and sugar, you will walk away without much attention.

We liked everything very much, at first we were skeptical, but during our stay we understood all the advantages of the hotel, the pools were clean, we got a new room (for which a special thank you!😊) clean, they immediately brought a child’s bed, the beach was clean, many sun loungers, comfortable. The service staff is very friendly, the food is varied. 30 min drive to the airport. Let's come back here again!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The room conditions are very average, the food is mainly based on Egyptian food culture, the highlight of the hotel is that the corals on the beach are very beautiful, you don't need to go out to sea for snorkeling, you can walk to snorkel and see turtles and dugongs, the price of Ctrip is a bit expensive, it is not recommended to place an order with Ctrip

GGuest UserDuring our family trip to Jungle Aqua Park, we were thrilled by the idea of staying in a resort that promised fun, relaxation, and plenty of activities with its all-inclusive offerings. Sadly, while there were some bright spots, much of our experience left us feeling frustrated, and at times, even scammed by the way things were structured. The Good - The facilities themselves are well-maintained and visually appealing. The pools and theme park rides, when open, provided excellent entertainment for both adults and kids. - The variety of pools and slides seemed promising on paper, and when operational, they delivered an exciting experience. The Not-So-Good 1. Questionable All-Inclusive Facilities & Timings The biggest disappointment of our stay was the deliberate clash in operating times for different amenities. For instance, dinner ended abruptly at 8:30 PM, but the popcorn, doughnut, and candyfloss stalls at the theme park (especially appealing to kids) shut down only half an hour later at 9 PM. This left us scrambling to enjoy everything in the tiny time-slots available and made it nearly impossible to take full advantage of what's included. Even more frustratingly, theme park rides for adults were bizarrely restricted, with only one ride open per night as a rule. This limited options and left us wondering why the resort would restrict its own attractions. 2. Artificially Prolonged Queues Breakfast became a daily test of patience. The focus on one egg station for omelets—not even offering options like scrambled or fried eggs—created unnecessarily long lines. It often felt like the resort intentionally used these extended wait times to waste your morning, essentially cutting into the time you could use for exploring the resort’s facilities. Not ideal when you're already struggling to balance overlapping schedules! 3. Staff Attitude & Service Another major letdown was the attitude of many staff members. We found them to be unfriendly, unhelpful, and sometimes even outright rude. When raising questions or trying to understand how things worked, we were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than welcome guests. Customer service is key in any resort, and unfortunately, Jungle Aqua Park missed the mark on this front. - Better alignment of operating times across the resort to allow guests to enjoy all-inclusive perks without a rushed experience. - More consistent opening of adult rides so guests can maximize their enjoyment of the waterpark. - Breakfast options should be expanded beyond omelets to reduce queue times and provide more variety. - Training the staff to prioritize customer service and handle guest inquiries more politely would greatly enhance the guest experience. While Jungle Aqua Park showed flashes of potential in terms of its facilities, the inefficiencies and poor management of schedules made it difficult to fully enjoy what was offered. What should have been a stress-free, family-friendly vacation often turned into a logistical challenge, filled with avoidable friction and unnecessary waiting. With improvements in scheduling, staff attitude, and a more guest-centered approach, this resort could truly shine. However, as it stands now, I would hesitate to recommend it, especially for families looking for a relaxing time.

GGuest UserThe room is spacious and bright, with relatively complete facilities. It is close to the beach and has a nice view. However, our quilt cover was dark and pilling, but the service staff changed it immediately. We made an appointment for the Chinese restaurant, but what was served was a mixture of Egyptian and Western food, not Chinese food at all. We spent $50 on food for two people and I don't know what we ate.

XxuecqThe hotel environment is very good, with several swimming pools. The food is also very good, with sufficient supply and timely replenishment. When we checked in, we were upgraded to a family room with 2 bedrooms. However, the air conditioning system in this room was a bit faulty, so we asked the front desk to find someone to fix it, which was what they should have done. After the repair, we didn't give a tip. On the second night, there was a power outage in our room. We contacted Ctrip's customer service to coordinate, and finally gave a tip to get the power back on.

BBryce van de LaarThe Solymar beach resort is not the most expensive resort in the Hurghada/Safaga area, but it’s also not the cheapest. Because of this, we were expecting it to be quite middle-of-the-range in terms of quality. At every turn, we were pleasantly surprised and delighted. The staff were friendly and courteous - whether at the reception, in the restaurant, or walking past someone watering the grass, you are guaranteed a friendly greeting. Everyone is quick to know their customers - after just a day in our usual spot on the beach, Ahmed knew our usual order. The hyper-energetic Magic Entertainment team members were also quick to build rapport and make us feel included in the resort vibes. We plunged immediately into extreme relaxation with a “honeymoon massage” at the spa, which included time in the dry and steam saunas, a special hammam exfoliation ritual on a heated marble slab, a full-body Dead Sea mud wrap, and an oil massage. The masseuses were talkative and playful - possibly not to everyone’s taste, but this seems to be the Egyptian way and certainly got me smiling and giggling along. There is not a moment of the day when you might be at risk of going hungry. From the early breakfast in the main restaurant, to the late breakfast at the beach, to the drinks and snacks on offer throughout the day at the pool bar and restaurant, there is always a wide array of quality F&B choices. There is some variation from day -to-day options, and it’s always worth checking out the “fresh-from-the-grill” area to see what the day’s speciality may be. Part of the stay includes one complementary meal at one of the two a la carte restaurants (Italian/Egyptian) where the food is a level or two up from what’s served in the buffets. Go hungry - the Egyptian meal included a starter of hot and cold mezze, a soup, a main course and a dessert (with alternative plant-based and kiddies’ menus). The resort has done a lot to ensure that it is eco friendly. Apart from the usual request to hang up towels to save water on unnecessary cleaning, they also purify their own water, which is left in your room in chilled glass bottles (it tastes a little weird, but it’s good for the planet). Overall, highly recommend the Solymar resort.

GGuest UserThis restaurant is very suitable for lying down with friends. There are several waiters in the restaurant who are very enthusiastic and recommend suitable drinks every day. It is all-inclusive and basically you don’t have to worry about a lot. You can live a regular life of eating and sunbathing after a short period of time, and then eating and sleeping after sunbathing.

HHuseyinOzcanHotel is half-pansion system means you have a good breakfast and a good dinner. Hotel has her own beach and heated pool. If you used to huge hotels this hotel is like a small nice boutique hotel. Hotel is very clean. Rooms are cleaning every day. Bottled water, coffee, tea and kettle are suitable every day in the room. Flat tv, refrigirator and clima are in the room. I couldn't be able to start the clima machine for heating but there is a good machine. You ask hair drier from reception for free. Restaurant is also clean and meals are enough and delicious. If you will go to early tour hotel prepare your breakfast for free and if your tour return late hotel prepare and serve your dinner late. Just tell the reception you will go early and returning late. They just ask 50 eygpt pound per person for packing the meals. 1 gb internet for room is not enough for the stay but you can buy extra from the reception. Only one card for a room and extra charge for second room card is not fair. Whole employee of the hotel are very kind and try to help you but each of them should ask everthing to manager. Taking pitza or something from outside is a problem. Also alcohol is not permitted in this hotel as mostly in Egypt. I think hotel needs more customer needs and pleasures based; not rules based. They need to have a fair price for early checkin and late checkout. May be just for shower. Tour desk in the hotel is very helpful and fair price. If you have any problem find Mr. Alla and Ms. Ruvan. Your problem will be solved faster. I advice my two friends to checkin this hotel and they checkin. I will come back.

GGuest UserLovely hotel ,3 pools …pool with slides, Kids pool and then another family area with pool. We had to move rooms as we had no hot water … but they moved us no problem. The outside areas are lovely … bars around the pools … the only suggestion would be to have nibbles and also ice has to be available … the beach bar no ice at all again this is a no brainer. The food needs overhauling by a chef … hot food generally not hot enough. No chips for kids .. no burgers … the menu needs changing and the cooks need training from a chef The quality of the food needs a lot of improvement… many guests not happy one said it was a culinary catastrophe, a lot started eating out. When you get there you are given a coloured wrist band and the staff will see you are a new arrival. I saw new arrival guests get approached by on site staff selling , massages, nail and beauty makeovers, trips, and ice creams … as many as 5 approaches in 10 minutes. In 5* hotels these people are at stations around the hotel and when guests are ready they go to these stations .. they don’t get hounded …the massage guy approached me 3-4 times a day. Some of the trips need vetting The service was ok and all the staff was friendly … the animation team need new outfits .. I couldn’t really see what they did to be fair .. no games to get people involved. Overall it was a nice stay .. but there is a lot to work on .. I hope they will see this honest review and make changes … it could be a 4-5* but it will only be a 3* if they don’t make changes
