First time staying at Mitsui Garden and it was one of our nicest stay in Nagoya. We had the Superior room with queen size bed for four nights on the 24 floor with breakfast. The room was spacious, enough for a big suitcase and two cabin.Very clean and modern interior and 5 minutes from Nagoya station with all the major shops and restaurants. The hotel had onsen for the guests. The breakfast buffé was fresh with both western and japanese dishes. You were also able to choose a main course from their breakfast menue.
The staff at the front desk made us feel welcomed both check in and check out went smoothly. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to rebook our earlier hotel reservation to Mitsui Garden for our last night in Japan. Relaxed, clean and modern hotel.

Good, with disclaimers.
I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a positive experience. The staff was very attentive and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, which made the stay feel welcoming. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was excellent, everything was well-kept and tidy. Most of the services offered were reliable and convenient, contributing to a comfortable stay.
On the other hand, I did encounter some frustrations with the hotel rules and partial disclaimers. Certain policies felt restrictive or not clearly communicated, and in some cases, the fine print didn’t fully match what was initially advertised. This created some unpleasant surprises.
In summary, the hotel provides a clean environment, friendly service, and good amenities. However, they could improve transparency and flexibility regarding their rules to make the guest experience ok, not great, just ok.

Facilities: The laundry room gets 5 stars! It's fully automated with QR code payment, and my clothes came out looking brand new.
Room: Though compact, the room is incredibly well-designed. The fluffy duvet made for a great night's sleep. It's also newly renovated, and the ability to open the window for fresh air is a huge bonus!
Service: During checkout, I encountered a cleaning staff member who greeted me warmly and proactively.
Location: It's less than an 8-minute walk to the subway station. Plus, there's a delicious rice ball shop right across the street, perfect for breakfast.

This is an excellent hotel. Its location is super convenient, and being newly renovated, it's spotlessly clean. It also offers great value for money. The surrounding area is perfect for strolling, eating, and shopping, with most establishments in the Rong business district reachable within about 10 minutes on foot.

A pretty new hotel, real nice rooms the front portion near the door of the room is tatami, the size is really decent for Japanese chains. Theres an information map in the lobby that shows whats nearby and all the recommendations. The staff are really professional as well. Only drawback is that the hot spring is really tiny, but its better than not having one.
The subway station is only a 2 min walk away from the hotel. Nagoya is one of the best places to get used luxury products and the 2nd hand brands like KOMEHYO had large buildings here.
Very good location at the central of JR Toyohashi, The room is well maintained, comfy bed, nice city view on the top (13th) floor, service is very nice , I got birthday gift while checking in. Everything is perfect
This is a resort hotel that you would want to stay in again after staying there once. The hotel is right by the sea, close to the sea and beautiful scenery. There are guest rooms and hot spring pools from the third to the eighth floor of the hotel. There are mixed bathing for men and women, private baths and separate pools for men and women in different time periods. The interior of the hotel is full of rich Japanese style. The guest rooms are large with independent bathrooms, bedrooms and reception rooms, and the balcony is perfect for enjoying the sunset facing the sea. The hotel staff is very polite and enthusiastic, and can speak simple English. It is suitable for a relaxing vacation.

After I checked into room 1517, lots of strange things happened. It made me feel very sick and items in the room moved and my phone constantly dropped from the flat desk. I literally vomited over 10 times the moment I stepped into that room.
Anyway contacted trip.com and they couldn’t do anything to help. Was pretty disappointed with trip.com as I am already a diamond member and was held on the line for over 30min for literally nothing. The hotline staff kept telling me Japanese speaking staff not available and no progress.
Fortunately I called front desk and at first they told me they would charge me $63800 yen for a switch of room, then they sent someone up to the room and agreed to switch me to another room for free after they noticed the problem. New room with the view of the TV tower and everything was fine. Location is great but wouldn’t stay there again personally.

DDarren_in_BarcelonaVery good location! Less than 10 minutes walking to Nagoya Station. The staff are friendly and the room is very quiet. I wasn’t so impressed with the breakfast as I’ve definitely had better in other hotels in Japan. Also the pillow was so flat it might as well have been nonexistent. Overall not a bad place to stay if you’re in Nagoya for a few days!
KKeaiaimeishaodexiaoxingVery good overall! There's a really delicious tempura restaurant downstairs, located right off the lobby. A supermarket is conveniently located next door. You can also pick up a 5% discount coupon in the hotel lobby.
The facilities are quite new and excellent. Service is decent, although there's no Chinese-speaking staff.
Each guest can receive a complimentary face mask and a small sunscreen sample daily. Complimentary facial cleanser, makeup remover, toner, and lotion are also available for guests to use. Toothbrushes and other basic toiletries are provided. There's a coffee machine in the lobby, but the coffee quality is pretty average.
The location is excellent – it's right at Exit 6 of Jinshan Metro Station. Plus, there's an elevator available if you prefer not to take the stairs.
MMissSakuraWe had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The hotel is very accessible to the subway, restaurants, tourist spots. The amenities you need are here. Room is clean and well maintained.
GGuest UserThey said simple breakfast but it had a good variety of food. Curry rice seemed to be their speciality. People got up early during holidays and when I got there before 730, the restaurant was quite busy. Some trays were empty but they came to refill it soon after. The room is not big but it was a good size for a solo traveler. A bit far away from the Nagoya station but very easy to find. Notice there is another Meitetsu Inn in other side of the station so don’t go to a wrong one. They have self check in/out machines so it was easy and smooth. Staff are polite and friendly too.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is close to the Nagoya station and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The self check out is very easy!
GGuest UserGreat room with standard room and amenities with great price. Keycard is so cute. Near shopping area about 500m
I stayed one night before flying back tomorrow but breakfast start at 7.00, which I can not catch the flight on time if we had breakfast at hotel. So, we grabed a sandwich to had it on the way.
This hotel has no parking. I can find a carpark near hotel in 200m with 600 yen all night after 8pm at NPC https://maps.app.goo.gl/DoJHMkvz71JhCZez8
GGuest UserHaving stayed at the Marriott next door last year, I decided to try a different hotel this time and opted for JR. Let's start with the room. At 37 square meters, it didn't feel particularly spacious; I felt the bathroom occupied a significant portion of the area. The view from the room, however, was absolutely stunning, offering a breathtaking panoramic vista that truly made you feel on top of the world. Unfortunately, the window ledge in the room itself, which overlooked this fantastic view, was incredibly uncomfortable to sit on! (In this regard, it fell short of the Marriott, whose well-designed bay window made it exceptionally comfortable to lounge and take in the view.) Ironically, the windowsill in the bathroom *was* quite comfortable for sitting.
GGuest UserThe best breakfast ever! Bath tub and toilet very clean. Very comfortable beds. We enjoyed the all-day free coffee, tea and refreshing lemon warer in the lounge. Great location. Abt 1000 yen taxi ride away from Nagoya Station. Has convenience stores nearby. I am looking forward to returning here!
GGuest UserNot too near Nagoya station and not easy to find given the ongoing construction. Go through Esca the underground mall attached to Nagoya station and exit at E7. Housekeeping flawless. Reception permits checkin only at 3 pm though some flexibility would do your service standards wonders as most of your foreign guests would have flown redeye flights in. No variety of restaurants nearby so best bet still the station.
CCeltermumThe hotel lobby area looked really nice. Staff at check-in and did a good job. Hotel has 2 wings and we stayed in the Central one. We were disappointed when we opened the door to our room as it did look dated and was a huge contrast to the lobby and common areas. (See photo on furniture with obvious signs of wear and tear, didn’t expect to see this for the price point). Room was a good size with good-sized toilet and good amenities. Location was its plus point, especially if you have an early morning flight to catch.
There seemed to be some renovation going on at the lower floors. Hope they will update the room furnishings.
