The hotel is literally 100m from Saga JR station. We make it as a midway stop to Huis The Bosch. This little city has the best beef and a fantastic onsen to offer.
Onsen is 20mins away by foot. On the way, there is one big Japanese drugstore to fill your suitcase!
The hotel is clean and you can walk to Karatsu castle. There are 2 free drinks: 15:00-18:00 and 21:00-23:00. In the evening, there is unlimited sparkling wine and beer, soft drinks, tea, coffee, snacks. At night, there are many types of whiskey and liquor to try. I have never seen anything like this before. It is very good.
If you are just staying in Saga for one night, you can still consider it. I really don't recommend other hotels because the bed is very small and the bathroom is really average. You don't even want to take a shower. Of course, if you have the courage, you can try the hot spring bath on the ground floor. You can get toiletries in the lobby and there is also free Costa coffee. So you can't ask for too much for this price. It is a certain distance from the airport on foot, but it is within an acceptable range. Across the main road outside the hotel (next to the airport bus station) there is a supermarket that is larger than 711 and opens until 12 o'clock in the evening, which is convenient for guests who want to buy things when they return late, but it is not duty-free.
Let's talk about the advantages first: From the outside, the hotel is well maintained. The staff nodded and greeted us when we entered and exited. They were very polite. The scenery of the location is very good. The river outside the window and the trees opposite are simply refreshing. It is within walking distance of the hot air balloon museum. There is a bus stop at the door. Saga is not big, and it is enough to take the bus to wander around. There are no convenience stores around, and you need to walk for a while. Saga is indeed very rural, but it is this rustic feeling that makes me feel comfortable here. You can take a bus from the hotel to the bus center, where you can take all transportation routes. The only thing that may be a little uncomfortable is that the quilt cover is very slippery. The mattress will fall out of the quilt cover when you sleep. The pillow is only soft and hard, but not high and low. It is not comfortable to sleep on the neck. Everything else is really good. There are ice cups in the refrigerator, and you can make iced American coffee by yourself. Next time I go, I will stay here again. I like it very much.
The first time I tried the hot springs in Ureshino, I chose the newer ”Sakura”. The hotel has free parking, the hot springs are first-class, soaking the whole body and sliding, it is worthy of being called a beauty bath 👍🏻 I booked breakfast and dinner at the hotel, the style is not Too much but tasted good. There are many shops and restaurants on the pedestrian street near the hotel. The famous soup tofu is worth a try. There is also a dessert shop nearby, but it closes too early. It is recommended to try it earlier🤭
The hotel is in a great location, right next to Saga Station, with convenient transportation, and it's very convenient to take the airport bus and JR. The room I was given on the third floor had an air conditioner from the opposite building outside the window, which was a bit noisy, and there was no sunlight, but I was only staying for one night because I had a transfer, so I could handle it. The windows of the even-numbered rooms on the lower floors may all be like this, so friends who are going to stay there can avoid the even-numbered rooms on the lower floors. The hotel also offers rice, bread, curry, salad, cooked vegetables, and natto for breakfast, which is enough to fill you up.
The double room was ok. The dorm room not so. Double rooms were sold out so we had to book the dorm. There isnt much ventilation in the dorm room, and its set to 25 deg heater, really very warm. Even 26/27 deg air conditioning wouldve still been better. Quite uncomfortable with the heater.
There is a direct bus from Saga Airport to Saga Station. The hotel is opposite the station, and the transportation is very convenient. There are many restaurants and convenience stores near the hotel. The hotel provides free breakfast, which is relatively simple. There is an artificial hot spring on the ground floor. It is very comfortable to take a bath when you come back at night. The single room is relatively small, but it is still good for one person to live in, mainly because the cost performance is relatively high. The room facilities are relatively simple and old-fashioned, and should be a certain age.
Disadvantages: The basic room only has one bathroom without shower facilities, which is not stated on the introduction page. The hotel's sound insulation is relatively poor, and the neighbors are noisy at night.
The hotel is newly built, the facilities are relatively new, and the bed is quite comfortable. You can make an appointment for a private bath, and there are two rooms. I didn't experience the large bath because I have a tattoo. The desserts at the entrance of the hotel are delicious, and the hotel provides self-service Ureshino tea, which is also good.
A Japanese hot spring resort hotel of the usual style. Quiet. There is a forest opposite the room. The room is large and spacious. However, the quilt of the tatami is always easy to fall off. There is a little mark on the quilt. After the epidemic, I always feel that the overall service quality has declined. When we left the hotel to pick up the car, we carried the luggage by ourselves. When we checked in, the staff helped to carry the luggage. Overall, the cost performance is not the best.

Very Good

천천방지축강아지It was a really nice ryokan. I made a reservation for a place where I could use the open-air bath and indoor hot spring in the room. I always enjoyed the private hot spring comfortably. There was a large bath and a private bath, so I took a lot of hot spring baths. The food was also really good and delicious. It might be a bit far if you use public transportation, but it was the best in every way.
NNanamin773I recently stayed at this hotel, and one of the best aspects was its proximity to the train station. It took me only a few minutes to walk there, making my travel around the city hassle-free. The convenience of having the train station nearby meant I could easily access all the main attractions without the need for taxis or long walks. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Overall, the location made my stay very enjoyable and efficient, especially for someone like me who prefers public transportation.

GGuest UserAfter booking the hotel, I was hesitant and worried that it would be bad. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the hotel! Everything is better than expected ^_^Small but beautiful! The front desk staff are friendly and attentive. There was a young man from China at the front desk who gave a detailed introduction to the hotel facilities, dinner reservation times and some sightseeing suggestions in Chinese. On Chinese New Year's Eve, I met a Japanese lady at the hotel front desk (who spoke very fluent English) who gave guests free drinks to celebrate the New Year, which made people feel cordial and warm. There are few people in the hotel's hot springs and they are very clean. Basically every time I go, the restaurant is reserved;) Dinner is a major feature of the hotel and worth experiencing. Although the ingredients don't look amazing, they are actually carefully prepared and high-quality ingredients. The cooking method is not very flashy, which is probably the characteristic of Ureshino. I ate every meal until I couldn't finish it. The Saga beef melts in your mouth, the tiny pufferfish is extremely delicious, the crabs are sweet and plump...^_^The soup tofu for breakfast is soft, glutinous and smooth in the mouth, without any beany smell, and the rich bean aroma is unforgettable.
The appearance picture of the hotel on Ctrip’s official website is different from the actual one! This is actually the first photo I took of this! Much better than what is shown on the official website! Best hotel for traveling with parents!
TTianxiamishikeIn the morning, I took the JR from Saga to Karatsu. Because my luggage was delivered, I walked from the station to Karatsu Castle for more than ten minutes, and then took the ferry to Takashima. In the afternoon, I came back from Takashima to check in at the hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location, with an unbeatable sea view outside the window, a large room, a very large bathroom, and separate wet and dry areas. You can enjoy the unbeatable sea view while taking a bath. The breakfast and dinner we booked were all very high quality. The hotel is close to the Rainbow Matsugawara, one of the three largest pine trees in Japan, and is a dozen minutes' walk from Karatsu Castle. The east building of the hotel is newer and has better facilities. It has a large bath, spa facilities, swimming pools, etc. Private baths require reservations and fees. The hotel staff is warm and friendly. The exterior of the hotel on the seaside is very design-oriented and has a nice view. The hotel has free shuttle buses to the bus center near JR East Karatsu Station and Karatsu Castle, which require reservations. If you want to go to Karatsu Station, you can ask the front desk to help call a taxi, which costs more than 1,000 yen.
JJenna4PeaceThis would have been a perfect stay... Everything was great about the hotel. Size of the rooms, staff was friendly, and location was in decent proximity to the train station. However, on our 3rd night, the air conditioner began to click or drip around 2am even though it wasn't on. In the morning, we told the staff who were very apologetic, and it seemed like they fixed the situation until around 11 pm that night when it started again. Maybe there is a leak.
GGuest UserA very good hot spring hotel, with a combination of Japanese traditional and modern design. The guy who served us spoke fluent Chinese (maybe from Hong Kong or Taiwan?) and was very friendly and enthusiastic. He also helped us solve the problem of sending luggage to Nagasaki. The Japanese-style room is very large with a deep courtyard, and the price-performance ratio is very high. The breakfast is a buffet, and the taste is average compared to other hot spring hotels, but overall it is a high score. By the way, Ureshino Onsen is really great. I felt slippery after taking a bath, so I thought I didn't rinse it clean.
