I recently stayed at a lovely island hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking ocean views and a tranquil atmosphere that made for a perfect getaway. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointed, offering all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The on-site dining options were varied and delicious, with fresh seafood being a highlight. Overall, this hotel provided a great blend of relaxation and luxury, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful island retreat.

This hotel is beautiful. It’s brand new but well maintained. And the staff are the nicest super helpful bunch you’ll ever meet. The food is good and well done! I spent a whole day at the pool and the water was amazing with the view of the ocean, free iced water, and whatever you want to eat and drink by the pool. I was fasting the first day I arrived and they provide suhoor instead of breakfast, but they deliver it to your room. I had 2 full trays of food and barely finished not even half. It’s good

Excellent service. Before check in they call us to confirmed what times expected to check in. Im also requested to hv a pool view. Room cleanliness is superb. Huge smart tv in the room. Super delicious breakfast spreads. Staff is friendly some more. Definitely will stay again on my next terengganu visit.

Nice and big room, but old. Bed is terrible where u can felt the spring. Booked and paid for double bed, instead given twin bed. So basically pay extra did not guaranteed. Food stall for dinner next to the beach is great, breakfast too. Location is perfect for beach lover.

I had an enjoyable stay! From 1 night we extended another night at TJR. We absolutely loved the excellent services and hospitality given by the staff. We booked a Bumbung Room but was upgraded to Anjung Room which was a major love. The view was stunning and we appreciate the privacy. We had the whole adult pool to ourselves. Dinner at Atas Sungei Restaurant was top notch. Chef Ann and Kak Maz were so attentive and very friendly. We enjoyed the food as well! Thank you! The receptionist named Liza was helpful too. We definitely will be back! Ps: Pls check on lizards dropping near windows in the toilet, found many of them. Thanks

It was a pleasant stay. Staffs are very helpful and accommodating. Decided to stay for 2 nights as it affordable compared with other hotels with similar facilities. Probably because it is an old hotel and some of the furniture and amenities looks old. The cleanliness could use some improvement, but not gonna stop me from coming again ✌️

Good location and nice view. Breakfast was nice and offer a lot of choices. Room was clean. Will repeat.

The hotel itself and it's location was great. The weather was sunny, making the water activity do-able and nice. Thanks for the hardworking lifeguard at the beach and attentive restaurant waiter/waitress. However, the service at the reception and manager handling a paid room upgrade should be improved further for a better guest experience. Not a 5-star experience. Lol. Hope they can improve on the communication and better room coordination. Marriott/Shangrila will do this in a much better way. Maybe it's me who put higher expectation on Taaras Is this resort deserve a repeat? Maybe NO. Anyway tq for the experience

Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation. The combination of friendly staff, comfortable accommodation, and delicious food made for a memorable vacation experience. In conclusion, it was the perfect place to freshen up and relax

Good: - Check-in process was smooth and fast - Room was clean, tidy & spacious, enough space for muslims to pray comfortably, and could accommodate an extra single bed - The smart tv has netflix installed so we had a great time chilling & watching movies - Strong water pressure - Adequate variety of food for breakfast, nasi kerabu was delicious - Swimming pool was clean & well-maintained Bad: - Shower cream was very watery like it has been diluted, had to use the provided bar soap for better lathering - bath tub’s plug was very loose, luckily i brought my own plastic cover to fill in water for warm bath
