The 2024 Tough Gator Challenge, an exciting obstacle course and mud run, is set to take place at the Raymond A. Geiger Elementary School in Lewiston on June 8, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This family-friendly event, organized by the Geiger Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization, welcomes elementary school children from Lewiston and nearby areas to participate. Participants will tackle the course in waves every 15 minutes, emphasizing teamwork, activity, and fun over competition. While the focus is on elementary-aged kids, family members are encouraged to sign up and enjoy the challenge as well. Every finisher will proudly receive a Tough Gator T-shirt, donated by the generous Geiger Company, along with the honorary title of "Tough Gator." With a history of eight successful years, this event typically sees around 700 participants annually. Registration starts at a minimum of $15 per person, but sponsors are highly encouraged.
