Dr. Michael C. Chappell is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, tear drainage system, orbit, and face. A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, he graduated magna cum laude from Hendrix College and earned his medical degree with honors from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Chappell completed an internship in internal medicine at St. Mary’s Medical Center and an ophthalmology residency at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco.
Yong Kam, MD
Refractive and Complex Cataract Surgery, Modern Vision Correction Surgery, Anterior Segment Reconstruction, and Corneal Transplantation
Dr. Yong Kam is a board-certified ophthalmic surgeon specializing in cataract, cornea, and refractive surgery. He received the P.J. Leinfelder Award for Excellence in Research during his fellowship. Dr. Kam is certified in EVO ICL, an advanced procedure for correcting nearsightedness and astigmatism using a Collamer lens.
In accordance with the OIG Advisory Opinion, Moyes Eye Center will charge a registration fee of $25 for this event. Food and beverages will be provided, along with 2 credit hours of continuing education approved by both the Missouri and Kansas. Registration and payment can be made in advance.
