5-Star Hotels in La Altagracia, Dominican Republic

I’ll admit, the negative reviews almost made me cancel my reservation at the Nickelodeon Hotel—but I’m so glad I didn’t! I encourage everyone to experience places for themselves rather than relying solely on other people’s experiences (bad reviews). Everyone has different expectations, and some can be more demanding than others. My family and I are pretty chill and laid-back, so even when a few things didn’t go exactly as planned, we were able to adjust easily and still have a great time. The overall experience was very positive—good food, super friendly staff, and great service throughout our stay. We had so much fun and made some amazing memories. Definitely worth the trip!

The room is newly renovated! But the design is not novel! Front desk service is average! The restaurant is not bad in the all-inclusive! The pool is good 👍! The sea view room is a bit far away! There are trees on the lower floors that are not recommended!

1. This is an old hotel with a particularly good beach location. I once walked six kilometers along the beach and found that the beach of this hotel can be said to be the best among the resort hotels in a string along the coast of Punta Cana. 2. How about the service? It's basically OK. The room cleaning staff and restaurant service staff are very good, but the front desk staff is just so-so. It takes at least 20 minutes to check in. They are slow and indifferent to guests. 3. If you ask the bellhop at the door to call a taxi for you, you must confirm the price repeatedly to prevent the bellhop and the taxi driver from cheating you. Of course, the money cheated will not be much, maybe only three or five US dollars, but when you know that you have been cheated, although the money is not much, it is still very unpleasant to be treated like a **. 4. On the first day of check-in, there was a strong musty smell in the room. After calling the hotel customer service, they quickly changed the full set of pillows, quilts, etc., and sprayed a lot of freshener, so the musty smell was suppressed. From the second day onwards, I could no longer smell the musty smell. 5..The locals speak Spanish, so it is a bit difficult to communicate in English. 6. There are still a lot of mosquitoes in the hotel, and the bites are painful and itchy. But this is the case in all resort hotels here, and mosquitoes are unavoidable. 7. The hotel's food is great.

very bad experience first day no hot water they spend all afternoon in my room trying to fix it so i had no privacy and no room availability finally after my permanet request at 10pm they changed us to another villa but air conditionning very poor ...,Expensive place with a 2 star hotel service i will never go back

Top service! Really I recommend taking meals mainly in the Royal's restaurants or on the beach. Sparkling white wine is to be avoided there really bad.

Incredible hotel! Very good food options as well as entertainment, the only bad thing was that they didn't clean our room one day

We love the tropical feel of the resort. We booked the Tropical Deluxe room but we were given a room at the Caribe Deluxe instead, but it was okay as there isn’t much difference and the resort has the same amenities for both, but would be nice if we were given a heads up prior to us going in the room. The room was okay, quite small and a bit rundown and looks a bit different from what you see in the photos. Overall our stay was good. The beach was really nice, and there are lots of amenities in the hotel. It was also hard to book a reservation at the restaurants through their online app. Please stay away at the Tao Restaurant - ala carte. My husband had stomach flu and diarrhea after eating there. Too bad the hotel doesn’t want to do anything, so we ended up going at the private clinic inside the resort.

One of the most complete and well-organized hotels I have visited, excellent facilities, superior, pleasant services, extremely good food, super special treatment from the collaborators, thanks to Mrs. Anny, very attentive and kind, I give her a 1 million rating for the way she treated me and my wife.
