What a legendary place! Located in the heart of Egypt, super close to the airport, it is an oasis in the desert. The buffets are delicious and reasonably priced, the two pools are amazing and the green grass soft underfoot. The staff are friendly, the gym is adequate and the rooms are clean. Loved my layover because of this gem of an hotel! Hopefully I'll be back soon!
Its worth staying here. Lovely reception staff. however, only half of the staff can understand and speak english and only half of them were smiling/welcoming which my partner was quite upset with.
Please make sure you do you research of the locatiom, money convertion and know the scams when they are coming. My partner was said a pringles can is 950 egp!! When I went to check, I was told 300 🌚
Outsite the hotel, there is proper scamming going on, once they know you are not local. We only went for pyramids and stuff due to my craze about it. So didnt mind going there once in our life time.
They have a revolvng restaurant too at the top!
We always stay at Le Meridien when we are transiting. The staff is always great, receptive, and friendly, and the location is excellent. It's just a bridge distance from terminal 3. They have a shuttle mini-van to other terminals. I would say they have three items to improve: 1) bedroom maintenance (the towel hanger was almost falling), 2) they must have a kids’ playroom (they have enough space to create one), 3) They should provide a toothbrush, and toothpaste as amenities in the room (they are basically a transit hotel).
Lovely hotel in a prime location on the Nile. Our room had a lovely view of the Nile and the pool area. The room was modern and had all the amenities you would need including some luxury Byredo toiletries which were a nice touch. Though it’s a newly renovated hotel, the downside was that our non-smoking room had an unusual smell in it and also upon check in, the entire carpet was wet. The breakfast buffet was good although some items were a bit stale by 8am (pancakes in particular) which could’ve been better if fresh. There was no room service options from your room so we tried the restaurants but wouldn’t really recommend. We tried Kamala which is a pan-Asian fusion and though we were the only guests dining, the food took over an hour to make and wasn’t the best. The Solano restaurant again was okay, much fresher than Kamala. Would recommend the hotel for its location however the reception can get really busy and the staff could do with being more attentive to the guests they’re serving rather than those impatiently interrupting.
The military runs this hotel. It is alcohol-free. People were smoking everywhere, which may or may not bother others. The breakfast and dining services were good. The room was clean but a little dated. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The staff was helpful and always willing to answer questions and offer assistance. The reception desk is not manned 24 hours a day. I was disconnected/hung up on 3 times when trying to confirm that someone would be able to check us in when I arrived after midnight. I was told it would be fine but we had to wait for someone to check us in. The pool was great and we have no complaints. We had arranged a driver to take us on our tours so I am not sure if the location is good or not. Great hotel and would recommend it.
An old Hotel in the city center. A little bit rundown but you can see it’s class. It’s one of the better hotels in Cairo and even when the rooms would need a renovation the service personal make up for it. They are so good and caring. Would recommend the hotel.
Certainly! Here's the updated review:

Staying at the Marriott in Cairo was an exceptional experience. The location is unbeatable, situated right next to the Nile River, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The swimming pool is great, providing a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The gym is fantastic, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to cater to all fitness needs.
The customer service is top-notch, with the reception staff being particularly super helpful, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly and efficiently. Our two kids really enjoyed the stay as well, which made our visit even more memorable. Simply the best in Cairo—highly recommend and we will definitely visit again!

The hotel is very new and the interior environment is very good. Compared with the outside of the hotel, it is a paradise inside and a world of fireworks outside. The hotel is located by the Nile River. However, there is no viewing area by the Nile River, and the fence blocks the way. The breakfast is also good and rich. The gym facilities are also complete. Suitable for business travelers
I stayed at Tolip Golden Plaza for some nights during my business trip to Cairo. The hotel is located in a busy area, close to a big mall and some restaurants. The room was clean and spacious, but the furniture was a bit old and worn out. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too soft for my liking. The bathroom was decent, but the water pressure was low and the towels were not very soft. The WiFi was free, but slow and unreliable. The breakfast buffet was good, but not very varied. The staff were polite and helpful, but not very attentive. The pool was nice, but small and crowded. The fitness center was well-equipped, but the massage services were expensive. Overall, I had a satisfactory stay at Tolip Golden Plaza, but I think there are better options in Cairo for the same price range.

GGuest UserI have traveled to several countries and stayed in many five-star hotels. In a poor country like Cairo, I am really surprised that there is such a high-end and cost-effective hotel. This hotel has cured me of all the travel fatigue for half a month and made my children happy. .I am happy. I feel like I am a princess 👸 being pampered. And I am really high-end and classy. The ceiling of Egypt.

GGuest UserThe stay at the ritz Carlton egypt hotel was more than good. We enjoyed the stay. It was unique. The service. The breakfast service and all its staff were wonderful. The reception service and the customer relations officers were all excellent and helpful. Thank you for receiving us. The wonderful reception.
SSuhaibWael and Abdo made trip amazing. Concierge team 10/10. Hugely let down by Ahmed GM of front of house who was incredibly rude when asked about Marriott bonvoy benefits on laundry and spa. Started shouting and even swore at me in Arabic to his collegague. He thought I didn’t understand Arabic but I understand both Arabic and Russian. All good though his behaviour will be reported to further boards in the Marriott Group.
Kind Regards
Adam

CChPangThe hotel is centrally located in a quiet area in Zamalek and easily accesible to all atttactions in Cairo. The hotel has aged and yet being maintained fairly.
GGailThe hotel and staff were phenomenal. The reason I took one smile away for facility, was I wanted to get a pedicure and they gave a referral in the mall that was terrible. They should not refer anyone there; it was uncomfortably juvenile in the environment. I ended up leaving after waiting 30 minutes listening to workers talk, argue, show pictures on each other's phones. Other than that, it was an incredible experience.
Khaled Abdelkhalek with the concierge was outstanding. He was taking care of every need. I booked 2 tours thru 4 Seasons with Marwa, she is on an entirely different universe, so intelligent, kind, intuitive, and I could keep going with praise. If you ever need a tour, she is the one for you!! I also had Mohammed as the driver, between Marwa and Mohommed, they are the dynamic duo. I feel so fortunate and honored to have met and been able to spend time with them.
I had several hours to wait for my flight, so I sat in the lobby and had something to eat and drink, they were so accommodating. I do not recall if her name was Daliah or Liza but she was great. Took care of me and was very kind.
I travel a lot alone, and it can be tricky sometimes, but the people at the 4 Seasons made it seamless and like home!
TTAY THYE KENGGood place to be , location is excellent
Lots of restaurant in the hotel area and the resort feel of the whole property
Many weddings held here every weekend
HHariThe staff is friendly and the rooms are spacious, but their walls need cleaning. This is the first time I live in a hotel that does not have a towel for the bathroom floor or slippers. They have free airport shuttle, and the bus leaves at the beginning of every hour for 24 hours.
