I stayed at Hatten Hotel Melaka and really enjoyed the central location. The hotel is connected to Dataran Pahlawan Mall, making it super convenient for shopping and food. Rooms are spacious with nice city views, and the facilities like the pool and gym are a plus. Service is generally friendly, though it can get busy during peak hours.
What I liked most is that many attractions are within walking distance A Famosa (Porta de Santiago) is just about a 10 minute walk from the hotel to, Melaka Hill and the Sultan Palace Museum. Perfect for exploring Melaka’s history without needing transport. Overall, a comfortable stay with a great location if you want both convenience and easy access to heritage sites.

I had a great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Melaka. From the warm signature cookie at check-in to the friendly service throughout, the experience felt welcoming and professional.
The room was clean, modern, and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a nice view of the city. The bathroom was well-designed, and I appreciated the quality amenities provided.
The hotel is slightly away from Jonker Street, but it’s directly connected to Elements Mall, which made dining and shopping convenient.
Overall, a comfortable and relaxing stay with good value for money. I’d definitely consider coming back for my next trip to Melaka.
We stay here for 2 nights in SuperiorRoom. The resort is big and have a very grand lobby welcoming you. Surprisingly thr room size is bigger than other hotel. However, we been greeted with an unclean washroom. There are some leftover rubbish by the previous occupant, and the housekeeping did not clean it. Hence we felt the housekeeping team need to keep up to their standards. Breakfast choice is quite a lot indeed, however the taste is not up to our standard. Not to forget this hotel have a very luxurious swimming pool and kid pool. Those with families and kids can make use of this opportunity to bring their kids for a great swim. Overall, we would rate this hotel 4 out 5. There is still a place to improve.

I had such a pleasant experience staying at Dusit Princess Melaka. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between modern comfort and warm hospitality. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring the city.
The staff were amazing throughout my stay – always friendly, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests feel comfortable. Their genuine smiles and helpful recommendations for local attractions and food made me feel truly welcome.

The experience at The Majestic Malacca truly exceeded my expectations. The building itself is almost a century old, and the interior furnishings are exquisitely preserved and tastefully appointed. Breakfast is à la carte, offering a delightful spread of Portuguese, Malay, Indian, and Chinese options. The quality is superb, truly restaurant-grade; after such a meal, I hardly felt the need to dine elsewhere. If I had to nitpick, the only minor drawback is that the hotel isn't within walking distance of the main tourist area, requiring a short taxi ride. However, taxis are inexpensive, so I highly recommend staying at The Majestic when you visit Malacca.
Location: Great because I just need to be in Ayer Keroh only.
Parking: So many parking spots to choose from (outside/inside)
Room: The room is kind of seasoned with new touch up but still great to stay.
Food: Have varieties, but same as other hotels.
The staff is very friendly 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The pool quite small, but still okay 👌
Got upgraded to room with balcony🤲🤲🤲
If I need to be in Ayer Keroh, this hotel should be my 1st choice.
Very nice and clean hotel. However, there were hiccups during check in. Check in time indicated is 3pm. We arrived at 4pm but was told that room not ready. Have to wait for 1 hour to get room allocation. So we brought the kids to the hotel’s playground and went back down to the reception 1 hour later only to be told to wait another 20minutes. After waiting for MORE THAN 20 minutes (with no staff at the reception at all) we went to enquire again. Was informed that we will be served next (after the current guest). So we waited again… in total, we waited about 2 hours just to get room keys. By then, our plans were all ruined due to the wait. We did not have time to explore Malacca Town as we have planned as it was a long weekend and we had to leave early the following day to avoid the traffic jam on the highway. All in all, the hotel is nice but the managing of the check in is terrible! 2 hours wasted just like that… if the reception staff informed us that it will take more than 2 hours to get the keys, perhaps we would not have waited at the hotel and proceed to town first. Hope to see improvement in this aspect

Generally the hotel is located at good location in Melaka. Easy access to Jonker Street and surrounding attractions.
However, the room type options is misleading. The standard room gave options of King Bed or 2 Single Beds. Upon checkin, I was told my booking is 2 Single Beds. So they combined the bed to get a King Bed. It will be better to state clearly before booking on the options.
The room facing to the Melacca Strait is very noisy at night as there is a night club (Arena Night Club) opposite. They are operating till 2am-3am. Basically we are not getting good rest at night. Brought this to the reception but seems nothing can be done.

Amazing indoor and outdoor living experience in this hotel. Love the private balcony facing Melaka River. I can spend my entire afternoon there with good coffee and snacks (coffee machine and snacks provided free in room). Tried their Kaya thost during breakfast. I gave 10/10! At night soak yourself in the bathtub with essential oil provided. Awesome experience! Every single detailing the room can wow you with such a specious and comfortable space. The best part is the hotel car park is just within minutes reach from your hotel room. So, it is so convinient after check out. All tourist attractions and restourant surrounding are within walking distance. Will definitely come back next time.

YYangVery nice gym and swimming pool at 8 floor to stay cool. The breakfast is a plus , many choices, and shuttle bus to Jonker street and shopping center.
