What was supposed to be a one-day family trip turned into a two-night stay! Just two hours after checking in, my family decided to extend our stay because the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We booked through Trip.com, which offered the most affordable rate compared to other platforms. The service at Tenera Hotel is truly excellent—friendly staff and smooth check-in made the experience even better. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for both short and extended stays. The only minor downside is the parking—if the free spots are full, you'll need to pay RM5 per entry per day. Still, it's a small price to pay for such a great stay!

The first room we were given had a foul smell. The body shampoo dispenser beside the bathtub wasn’t working, and the socket near the sink was broken. We called for assistance regarding the odor, and it was found that the issue was due to a broken toilet drainage. Fortunately, the staff responded promptly and offered us a room change. The second room was much better — no unpleasant smell, all amenities were in good working condition, and the cleanliness was excellent. We had a comfortable stay in the new room with no further complaints. We booked the dine and stay package and would suggest that menus be made available in advance so guests can make a more informed decision when choosing the restaurant. Dinner was good, and breakfast was okay.

The room was good , with balcony and compfortable Bed. Service was Always friendly and helpful. the Location of the Resort is totally Out of the Zone. which means If you want to do some actions, then is Not the right place. very quiet and some where No where. If you stay longer then 4 days will be defenetly boring. the breakfast was OK , have Seen better places for the Money they charging ! the swimming pool is to small and dirty, WE was Not even one day inside . ...which makes the whole Holidays more worse....because the SEA also dirty and Not even possible to swim. This was our first and Last time . and WE also will Not reccomand it. WE think this is a place for writing people or old people Like to have really quiet time.

I like it very much... Easy access and most of the things i like.. Near to the airport when u have early flight in the morning... They have buggy service

This trip is meant as a birthday treat for my gal so that she can enjoy her sunway lagoon outing during her birthday with her friends. As we drove here, there's a flat parking rate of RM15 per entry. As the trip was meant to celebrate her birthday, we were surprised and thankful to see there's a special lane/access/link to Sunway Lagoon from the resort.It was just awesome and not to mention the friendly staff, Cik Aina. Do note this lane/access/link closed at 7pm. Since we came early, we kept our bags with the concierge while checking in. As we checked in around 9am ish, we were informed that we can get the room early at 12pm. Hooray..What makes it better was the call from the Sunway Resort to inform that the room was ready at 12pm ish. I went to collect the key card around 1pm and has to remind the concierge to sent the bags to the room. It came a bit later when I was out dining at Sunway Pyramid. Mind you, the resort was packed due to Sunway College students graduation ceremony. So the delayed bag into the room was justified. Witnessed the hospitable concierge trying to help us when he saw us quite lost while trying to direct one of the parents to the resort to collect their children. The parent found us. Excellent. For dining we ate at Gordon Ramsay for dinner and Sunset Terrace for breakfast. We tried the cod fish plus the sides of mac & cheese at the Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill for dinner as it was already late ie after 9pm. I did not opt for dining@ room service knowing that my daughter will dozed off when she got the bed :-) . It was delish. The breakfast at Sunway Terrace was also good with many choices not only for adults but also a special section for the kids, too. There's chocolate drink and also Malaysia's Teh Tarik (taste just nice,like it hot ). Went to the gym, it has many exercise machines, spacious and also has energy bar, fruits and water provided for. I enjoyed doing the routines programme on the threadmill while looking at the pool. I also tried the abdominal /muscular gym machine. I am still feeling the muscular impact at my arms 😂. A well done exercise indeed. Our room was overlooking the Sunway Lagoon view. The bed was so inviting and the pillows with both medium hard and soft pillow was comfortable. Good for sleeping. The room comes with usb plugs and the typical 3 pin plug at each side of the bed which I find very helpful. At least, both of us do not need to fight which side of bed we want to sleep in. In all, we have a great stay here. Not forgetting Ms Ginny that assisted to approve my request for late check-out. The staff has been most helpful and friendly. You deserve more than 5 star. Thank you.

Excellent service and superb facilities made my stay truly enjoyable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The room was clean and comfortable, with modern amenities. Great food, a well-maintained pool, and a convenient location added to the experience. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay!

I stayed there for the last 2 years as Avante and now as M World Resort & Hotel. Our rooms were 2904 & 2905 interconnecting rooms. Room 2904 found too much hair and a bad smell inside the room. We ordered some drinks and food in the pool and couldn't charge into my room number. Normally a 5 star hotel would allow me to charge into my room and make a payment once checked out. Check in and check out progress was smooth and fast. The receptionist is also very attentive and friendly. Bell boy also gives a hand in our luggage. Breakfast buffet sessions need some improvement especially in the egg section. The fat chef in the egg section should be trained further.

Overall, the hotel location together with the biggest shopping mall - IOI City mall are fantastic combination for those planned for family staycation. With the kid pool (ensure the kid’s safety) and with good scenery adult pool plus kid play room, then with easy access to the mall are the ideal location for family with kid trip.

No wonder people say this is the best for family. There were many pools and the size is HUGE! The room is also as per mentioned in the website. Not that big, but enough, pretty with bath tub too as we took th upper floor chalet. Gonna come again soon pretty sure!
