Wooden cottage 1965, renovated 2014, kitchen-living room sofa bed for one, bedroom 2 beds, sauna (electric), laundry / utility room with walk-in shower and a washer and dryer, porch, terrace. Please note, that the gray sofa shown in the pictures has been changed to a green one. Summer kitchen, DROP pool and terrace 30 m². Woodshed. Wi-Fi access. Air conditioning. Satellite Antenna. The destination has the STF (Sustainable Travel Finland) certificate issued by Visit Finland. Villa Ebba is cute, pink grandma's cottage in the middle of the countryside. There is a DROP pool, a wood-fired pool on the covered terrace. During period 1.5. - 30.10. the pool can be freely used. In winter, the owner heats it up and charge is 100 € / time (paid directly to the owner by cash). Heating must be booked well in advance. The pool has a -15 degree limit (cannot be used if there is - 15 celcius or colder). The beach is 0.8 km away and can be reached along a way by car or by bike (bike can be rented from owner) or walking. The beach is hard and deep. Owner rents a lakeside sauna by extra cost 3 km away, there also beach suitable for children. Lakeside sauna's rent is 150 € / use. Owner will be heated sauna ready for clients. Payment on the spot to the owner. Next to Villa Ebba lives during summer time a couple of dozen of sheep. Guests can feed the sheep if they want. As an assistant there is professional shepherd / a herding dog Pike. The owners can gladly tell about the sheep and their treatment. Tervalepikko's sheep live under conventional conditions in the middle of meadow and forest. Please mention when you book the cottage if you need travel bed for babies and high chair. Owner will bring these to the cottage if needed. The owner can rent an outboard motor, recreational equipment (eg. canoes, bicycles, electric bicycles and fishing equipment), as well as a lakeside sauna. The electric car can be charged from the cottage's 3-phase socket, this must be agreed in advance with the cottage owner. Owner has two rental cottages (12927 and 12928) 2 km away. Pätiälä Manor Cottages 1947, 1949, 1952, 1953, 2100, 2243, 2276, 2277, 4390, 4392, 5018 and 7821 Pätiälä Manor is located in a typical Finnish cultural landscape in southern Finland right on the shore of Lake Päijänne, 35 km north of the city of Lahti. Idyllic Vääksy, the area’s services centre, is situated only 10 km away, while it is no more than a 6-km journey to the naturally beautiful Pulkkilanharju, which is an 8-km long ridge-like esker looking like a bridge crossing L. Päijänne. Pätiälä manor is an old family home practising traditional agriculture and forestry. Three of Päijänne’s bays thrust into the manorlands. The first mention of the estate dates back to the 1400s. 40 km north-west of Heinola, Tainionvirta current 100 m (length 30 km, width 0.05 km), hard, both shallow and deep parts, sandy clay, mud bottom. Beach is also suitable for children. The boat and the beach is in shared use with the owner. Log house 1888, renovated 2000 and 2018, kitchen-living room sofa bed, a bedroom with three beds and a bedroom with two beds and a bunk bed, sauna (electric stove), shower room, entrance hall, wood storage shed, porch, patio. Hot tub in the patio, must be rented separately from the owner (70 euros / time). One usage of hot tub is included in the booking in WEEK bookings (7 nights and longer bookings ) according to the customer's choice. Extra times can be rented for an extra price. The house is located on a beautiful manor house estate. The mansion is a working farm, grain-growing farm, and a holiday farm. Lawn and Garden arable landscapes around. Garden swing. Life jackets for 2 adults available. The house was originally an old building and log walls has time darkened. Bed rooms are spacious (blackout curtains). Nearest neighbour is the owner, there is a bush fence, so both yards also have own privacy. The yard includes old barn, shed, drying house, horse stables. Swimming area in Tainionvirta River is about 100 meters from the house. The beach is in shared use with the owner. *** NOTE! Fishing is not allowed during September-November.*** Place is ideal for example for a family with children. Manor's children's play area is near, there is eg. a yard swing, a trampoline, sand box and toys for children to play. Tennis Court 0.6 km (bookings through the owner, owner instructs in the use). Owner rents bicycles. The same owner has also cottages 11334 and 12657. Catering available by separate agreement (owner has a holiday farm, which is suitable for arranging small parties by separate agreement/payment). There are two fridges in the cottage. The space has 2 rooms, each with two 90 cm wide single beds, access to the second room is through the first room, which also has an exterior door and a shared toilet (there is no shower in the annex). Mechanical ventilation system, home theater system/blue ray player, tumble dryer, fire place with wood-fired baking oven, sandbox for children in the yard. Water in the water pipes comes from the own deep well and it has good quality. Padasjoki town 21 km. Locally several nature reserves: Isojärvi and Päijänne National Parks, Evo recreation area. Sapee downhill ski centre approx. 45 km, Himos ski resort approx. 65 km. Horse riding opportunities approx. 22 km, Vääksy golf course approx. 46 km. Lahti’s skiing centre 70 km. Owner rents out 4 bicycles, outboard motors (0.5 hp electric and 2,5 hp gasoline engines) and 3 kayaks. Mobile -internet connection for extra price, order and payment to the owner (price in 2017: 10 e/weekend, 20 e/week). Neighboring cottage 5210 Kuikka is located about 50 m so these cottages will be ideal for example two families. In summer time no direct line of sight between these two cottages because of trees.
