Log cabin 1983, renovated 2014, spacious living room-kitchen, bedroom (8 m²) with double bed 180x200 cm, bedroom (7 m²) with 2 beds á 90 x 200 cm, wood-fired sauna, washroom, dressing room, open veranda. Stylish and high quality log panel cottage (62 m²) for people who value peace and good outdoor activity possibilities. The cottage has spacious and comfortable living area, combined with a modern fitted kitchen. The lounge has fireplace, sofa set, dining set and dresser. The bedrooms have storage space for clothes and belongings. Big and bright sauna has wood stove and lake views. From dressing room there is door to spacious veranda with wooden furnishings. In the yard grows pine forest. In the yard there is barbecue. Upper part of the yard is flat. There is gentle slope leading to the beach. The beach is 20 m away. On the beach there is pier, from which the water depth is about 3 m. Therefore, the depth of the beach is not suitable for children who cannot swim yet. Lake Saarijärvi is small and clean watered wilderness lake. You may be able to follow the lives of a pair of black-throated diver and swans and also the evening sun rays through a rugged rocky landscape. There is only this cottage and cottage 3293 (which is owned by same owner) by this lake. The cottages have distance of 80 m. There are no other neighbors, so these cottages can enjoy the tranquility of nature. From the cottage yard opens extensive berry and mushroom picking areas. Outdoor recreation opportunities are excellent. 40 km north-west of Heinola, Tainionvirta current 100 m (length 30 km, width 0.05 km), hard, both shallow and deep parts, sandy clay, mud bottom. Beach is also suitable for children. The boat and the beach is in shared use with the owner. Log house 1888, renovated 2000 and 2018, kitchen-living room sofa bed, a bedroom with three beds and a bedroom with two beds and a bunk bed, sauna (electric stove), shower room, entrance hall, wood storage shed, porch, patio. Hot tub in the patio, must be rented separately from the owner (70 euros / time). One usage of hot tub is included in the booking in WEEK bookings (7 nights and longer bookings ) according to the customer's choice. Extra times can be rented for an extra price. The house is located on a beautiful manor house estate. The mansion is a working farm, grain-growing farm, and a holiday farm. Lawn and Garden arable landscapes around. Garden swing. Life jackets for 2 adults available. The house was originally an old building and log walls has time darkened. Bed rooms are spacious (blackout curtains). Nearest neighbour is the owner, there is a bush fence, so both yards also have own privacy. The yard includes old barn, shed, drying house, horse stables. Swimming area in Tainionvirta River is about 100 meters from the house. The beach is in shared use with the owner. *** NOTE! Fishing is not allowed during September-November.*** Place is ideal for example for a family with children. 35 km north of Lahti, Päijänne 70 m, rocky hard-bottom beach, pier and rowing boat. Log cottage 2006, kitchen, living room, two bedrooms (10 m²) each with two beds, dressing room, washroom, sauna (electric stove), large covered terrace. Upstairs, two bedrooms (7 m²) each with two beds, loft with a sofa bed for 1 person. 4 G Wi-Fi access. Soundbar. Beach sauna 2006, dressing room, two showers, wood stove in the sauna. NB! At the same building (right side) is the another (second) cottage sauna. This second cottage is for long-term rentals and the resident is only part of the summer. However, both saunas have their own entrances and the terrace has a log wall. At the beach there is a neighboring pier on the sauna, about 30 meters away. The owner rents a hot tub all year round at extra price 150 euros / weekend / 2days (longer rental must be agreed separately) and it is pre-filled with water. Hot tub paid to the owner on the spot in cash, so make sure availability in good time. Aleksinrinne is a high-quality rental villa for a bigger group or even for two families. The villa offers great views of Päijänne and the surrounding dry terrain does not favor mosquitoes. The cottage is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility. There is some iron in the tap water and it might cause some smell/taste into the water. However, it's examined and safe to use. Guest can bring drinking water along, if he prefers to do that. The Pulkkilanharju landscape route and the Päijänne National Park are a few kilometers away, several inland water cruises are nearby, and much more to see and do in the area.
