I was worried because there were many reviews about the room cleanliness and carpet, but The floor was made of wood and the bathroom was clean. I traveled with my mom and was very satisfied. I checked in late and had to call to confirm the check-in method.. And they kindly left a long guide at the reception, so I was very grateful. I stayed at the cheapest price and I highly recommend it to those who are going nearby. However, it was summer, not the season to go to the Leukerbad hot springs.. The road to Leukerbad was winding, so it was a difficult road for me, who was driving for the first time in a long time, not only for this hotel but also for those visiting the area.

There is a free shuttle bus to the train station, so you don't have to drag your luggage. The bed is too soft and it's not easy to sleep.

The room is clean and tidy, the balcony has a first-class view 👍👍, the hotel facilities are more home-like, the room is large, but very 🈳, very environmentally friendly ♻️... There are not many varieties of breakfast, but the quality of the ingredients is good. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the train station, not far from the observation deck, and very close to the main street and famous restaurants 🍴. Highly recommended.

The hotel boasts an excellent location and a unique, tasteful decor with wooden elements throughout, which I really loved. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, changing daily. You can even see the Matterhorn from the balcony, though my view from the second floor was unfortunately somewhat limited. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, although the single rooms are a bit on the smaller side. It's very convenient for the train station and exploring the town, with a Coop supermarket, shops, and restaurants all conveniently located nearby. After a 2-night stay, it was overall a very pleasant experience!

The stay experience was great! You can enjoy the Matterhorn from the hotel balcony. The hotel service was also very good, the room was large, and when I left, they asked me if I wanted water. They had bottled water from the Matterhorn. I will still choose this hotel next time I come.

The Matterhornlodge is located about a 5-10 min walk from the Zermatt station. We arrived at about 1pm and were informed that check-in was only at 2pm so we went for lunch and returned at around 2.30pm. We were greeted by Ruth, the proprietress of the hotel, who gave us a comprehensive briefing of the house rules and policies. Ruth was very warm, friendly, and charming; she was very guest-focused and was happy to find out more about where we were from and what we planned to do. Ruth even gave us recommendations for Bern when we told her we were going there next. Although the hotel is stated to be 4 stars, we were very impressed by the room and the amenities. The bathroom came with a bidet and the toiletries provided were of good quality. The room was also very spacious with enough room to open up 2 luggage bags. The towels and robes were thick, warm, and fluffy. The breakfast provided in the morning was also quite good with a decent selection of breads, cold cuts, cheese, and eggs. At checkout, Ruth also gave us a complimentary ride to the train station in her electric vehicle. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay at the Matterhornlodge and we were very impressed by Ruth’s hospitality.

As a boutique hotel in Zermatt, it is still worthy of praise. The room and quilt were very clean, the shower water was sufficient, and the room area was relatively spacious. There are many surprises: gym, swimming pool, pool, rock climbing, SPA, game consoles and kitchens in the room. Breakfast is delivered to the room. But it is a pity that individual waiters are a little cold on the eastern face. What a pity!

Let's talk about the advantages first: a great view of the Matterhorn, you can see it from the terrace, and you can also see it when you have breakfast in the restaurant, the view is very good. The room is about 10 minutes' walk from the train station, and it's still a bit hard to drag the suitcase, but there is a free taxi when you check out and go to the station~ The other feeling is that the room is so small... There are few types of breakfast, especially after staying at sunstar, the difference in breakfast is a bit obvious. In addition, the main door is a bit difficult to find, you have to go up a few stairs and walk through a corridor to get there. I was so tired when I arrived in Zermatt that day, and it was painful to carry the luggage up the stairs. In short, the recommendation index is three and a half stars.

This hotel is located at the side entrance of Zermatt train station. There is a prominent sign opposite and it is very easy to find. It's only 2-3 minutes' walk, very convenient. We booked a suite, which was fully equipped with a kitchen, laundry facilities and a fireplace (the kind that can burn fire). You can see the Matterhorn from the balcony. Breakfast was good too. It’s just that the price during the ski season is too high, close to 10,000 yuan per day. If I have the chance to go to Zermatt again, I will choose it.
