This was our last leg of our China trip. The 4 days 3 nights stay at Manyuan was wonderful. The team of staff we met was thoughtful and helpful, and the lead staff 彭谊stood out as a true attentive person. She guided us to book DiDi online Taxi and recommended places for dinner. In addition to enthusiastically recommending us places to go and buying tickets for us for the WuLingYuan National park and ZhangJiaJie Great Canyon with discount, we could feel that they were very concerned about our daily life. My wife said that every day when we returned to the hotel, she felt like she was back home when she heard the friendly ”You're back”. Our female butler 缘缘 helps monitor my online 淘宝purchase that delivered to the hotel. Another two staff worth mentioned was 晓晓 who guide us on the route in the national park of places of interest and skip others if time constraints. And 陈双凤who help us to setup the herbal foot bath. We have chosen Manyuan for its non smoking, clean, spacious rooms that overseeing the stream and sitting there with a glass of wine. It is also easy access to WuLingYuan National Park East gate. There are plenty of Chinese selection for the breakfast. My wife and I especially enjoyed and appreciated the coffee machine, which hardly available in other hotels. We are deeply grateful that we were allowed for late checkout with a small fee due midnight flight. This is a great hotel if you are visiting the Tianmen Mountain bcoz the hotel is just opposite the Cable Car station to the mountain. Hotel is modern, new, clean and bright as expected under hilton group branding. Check in was very efficient and welcoming. I was attended by Ms Alice. Ms Alice was very welcoming and friendly. She can speak a bit of english very well too. Two thumbs up. At the lobby, they also put up a station of tea and lemon drink which is very handy for guests coming back from Tianmen Mountain. The hotel rooms are bright, clean and modern. Size of the room and bathroom are good too. They also offer branded Peter Thomas Roth toileteries. Our rooms do not have any smoking smell at all. Buffet Breakfast is generally ok but can be further improved. The changsha famous milk tea shop is just next to the hotel. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended.

Pick-up/drop-off service at train station provided upon request. Friendly and helpful front desk. Quick check in/out. Clean room with standard amenities. Breakfast is simple with some variety but is 7-9am only. Self service laundry available. Eateries and grocery across the road. 20mins walk to Tianmen cable car station. Air-cond setting is a little weird, not able to go below 22C. Overall, stayed with satisfaction.

High price high standing. We had an amazing stay. Location: walking distance from East entrance of the park (can cross the river through a charming wooden path) + walking distance from Wulingyuan center and cute streets. Room (rating the suite with bathtub): best part of the stay. The view on the river+city+mountain is stunning, can even be enjoyed while taking a bath. Room is very spacious, ultra modern (automatic curtains, many lights, hanging chair, fancy bathroom), it has all necessary equipments and the bed is super large and comfortable Staff: extremely friendly and helped us anytime of the day (WeChat and front desk) to prepare our trip, share recommandations, arrange special needs. Service is way above average. Breakfast: the one (and only) disappointment of the stay, it looks like a canteen and clearly not up to the hotel’s standards. Nothing important as you may want to leave early to enjoy the park anyway.

The host were very friendly and super helpful. He suggested us a good restaurant nearby. The inn was at very good location, in a small beautiful road with full of restaurants. The room was a bit small and in an old building.

The staff was very warm and welcoming. They helped me book a ticket for the Fairy Fox show with transportation. The male staff drove me to Zhangjiajie West station. Location is perfect, it’s on the same block as the Tianmen Cableway Station. The building with all the signs is where the hotel is on the 9th floor.

Enjoyed our stay there. All the amenities were top notch. Location was close to the Tianmen mountain cableway. The restaurant beside the hotel served delicious authentic Xiangxi cuisine. Checked in on 3rd March, the reception was welcoming and extremely helpful, she recommended us places to visit and delicious places to eat around the area.

The hotel is very good. We called before we arrive 30 minutes asking for a free service pickup at Furong railway station. He replied right away and gave instruction to us where to wait. They also upgraded the room for us with welcome fruits and simple breakfast. The room is very good with great view. When we leave, he also gave us a souvenir and arrange taxi for us back to railway station. Really appreciate the services and kindness to us.

This is a new boutique hotel named Utopia Hotel. The hotel has already contacted us 4 days before our check in date to confirm and ask if we need a pick-up. They provide one time free transfer from the city (pick up/drop off) and free transfers to/from the national forest. All the staff, including the owner, were very helpful in purchasing parks tickets and suggesting the routes. They always try to ensure we get everything we need. The hotel has many foreigners, so no worries for communication. The room itself is really nice. Beds are firm. Besides the master bed, there is a tatami bed. The mountain view from the room is amazing! It is a smart room (as in many other hotels in China). The air condition is operated by the Baidu AI assistant. But since it's in Chinese, you can just ask the remote from the front office. They have 2 washer-dryer units, 2 washers, 1 dryer and 1 steam iron on the 6th floor. The detergent is also provided. The location is almost at the end of Baofeng Road and at the quieter side. It's about 15-20 minutes walk to Xibu Road. We can easily find food and convenience outside the hotel. There's a massage place right beside the hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and chose it for the fantastic location close to the cable car for the Tianmen mountain national park (only a 5-8min walk away). The amenities were fantastic and the room larger than what we expected. The hotel offers a hotel breakfast for a fee which we opted for and Im glad we did! It was a great way to experience local breakfast for foreigners like ourselves. The staff did not speak much english but we were able to communicate very well via wechat translate & message. Our room was also a bit warm due to the central heating, but reception was very accommodating and got a fan for our room which helped a lot. The hotel had also let us know there was construction which was fine but they even provided us with earplugs which we thought was very considerate. Overall, it was a fantastic stay at Zhangjiajie - would definitely recommend!

I stayed here for 2 night in late Nov 2024. The staff were welcoming us with warm smile & guidance. Ms. Hau help us upgrade my booking to a highest floor that enable us enjoying a cozy room.Thank you so much. The room was clean & daily necessities refilled adequately. The showering was good & the best thing was self-laundry which worthy us giving additional Credit. The breakfast was fair; limited variety & the corn drink was my favor. Hotel staff coordinated a local travel agent for us & made our travel plan become much easier.But their pillows were the worst things that spoiled my refreshment. This hotel would be my choice of next trip.

Strategic location - only 2 mins away from the 黄兴步行街. Excellent service - I arrived earlier than the check-in time and they have managed in order for me to check in earlier. Great effort. Prompt response - They will ask you to add their WeChat. Anything you need could send a message through WeChat and a reasonably fast response. Cleanliness - Clean, they will clean your room everyday even though we were staying for 3 nights. Trash was also taken care of. Amenities were also refurbished. Wonderful Hospitality - they offered a check out souvenirs and ask if we need anything on our way to the railway station. Definitely worth your money.

Great place to stay if you have an early trip at Changsha Railway Station. Hotel was easy to check in, no smoke/cigarette smell. The room was clean, beds were comfy, AC and heater were working during winter (some hotels disable the cooling part of AC, and your room can get too hot and stuffy without it). They provided drinking water, toiletries, some tea and an electric kettle. They also had a gym and free self-service laundry and dryers (instructions and buttons were in Chinese) Although taxis/DiDi can't drop you off directly at the entrance as the hotel is located at the side of the train station and cars are not allowed there. If it's raining, ask them to drop you off a little further near another train station entrance and just walk straight through the rows of stores to reach the hotel.

Although hard to find initially, this hotel was adequate for my needs over two nights. The hotel is located conveniently near to a few subway lines and shopping malls, but that's about it. There's not much to do around the area, most tourist sites or worthwhile restaurants are about 3kms away or further and need a taxi ride/subway ride. The hotel itself feels pretty clean and modern, my friends rooms felt quite clean and modern but my room was old, dirty and weirdly designed. I think it was a family room previously and instead of doing any real renovations or decorations they just removed the extra bed. Some of the walls have childrens drawing on then in pencil, others are just filthy. The space of the room is massive but there is only one small table and chair. My friends who paid less or the same had two chairs or even a sofa. My room felt weird overall. Breakfast was standard, I'd recommend the noodles made to order over the premade buffet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall my stay was good, but I really really hope they do something about the room I stayed in....

Easy to find. Great location. Near to various shopping and eateria. They also upgraded our room for free. The room is very clean and nice view. The service from the counter/information also very good. Breakfast also good. They also provide free luggage delivery to the airport. We regreat that we didn't book for more nights till the day departing to the airport.

The room is good. The staffs are so nice and helpful especially duoduo is very cute and helpful for us. We ordered many parcels and she helped us to communicate with the logistics

Good location. Just 1 minute walk from the metro exit No1. Quiet room and easy access to almost anywhere with metro. Had a complimentary baggage transfer service from Hotel to airport. Checked out of hotel at 12 noon, went shopping and picked up baggage at 9pm at the airport! So convenient! PS, hotel is NOT in IFS itself! Be careful as I was lost for a while.

It really is a luxury hotel for a cheap price. I had the cheaper room with view on a concrete wall, but the features are great. Bluetooth sound system going through the room, large recreational space, modern and spacious bathroom. Too bad the staff engaging was not friendly. But apart from that, it’s probably the best hotel I’ve ever been in this price range.

The hotel is conveniently located within 5min walk to the subway. 平安老街is right behind the hotel where you can get food round the clock. Good eateries like 費大廚，笨蘿蔔，are all within walking distance from the hotel. The room is huge with curtains. Hot water with good pressure. The room is nicely insulated from the busy roads.

We booked this hotel because it is located near Changsha South station which is the arriving station from Fenghuang Gucheng high speed rail. It is a good location from the hotel to the international airport. This turns out to be a good location for both as we managed to roll our trolley from the South station to the hotel easily and of course a call cab to the airport. However, this hotel is far from city centre and costs more to travel there. So be better to stay around in the nearby shopping mall 吾悦广场 for dining. Room is clean and tidy and well maintained and can match any 4 star above hotel internationally…

The place is close to the village entrance, really convenient. There’s a convenience store and a coffee shop nearby too. The staff are all very nice and friendly and tried their best to speak english with us. They also offer a pick up service from the high speed rail station. When we arrived and the room wasn’t ready yet, they even made us tea while we waited. The room had such a nice vibe. Breakfast was really good, especially dumpling and tea egg.

Beautiful view, room was very clean and spacious and the hotel staff service was great. Train stations drop offs and pick ups were included which made it extra convenient.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and had a comfortable bed, plus a lovely view of the river. The location was excellent—just a 10-minute walk from the old town but in a quiet area at night. The amenities were a nice touch, including slippers, flip-flops, and a bathrobe. Common areas were pleasant and well-kept, with a cozy spot to enjoy tea. Breakfast was varied, with options for everyone. The staff was friendly and helped us book a transfer to the station. A couple of small drawbacks: no gym, and the staff’s English was limited, but we managed to communicate just fine. Overall, a great choice for a comfortable and relaxing stay!

The location of the B&B is a first-line river view. This B&B is really great and makes people feel at home! The lady was very enthusiastic and picked us up at Hongqiao, the entrance to the ancient city. She will tell you the travel guide and recommend the Phoenix Evening Show, which is very beautiful and cost-effective! The room is spacious and bright. I like the hanging basket on their balcony the most. It is the best location to see the night view. It is worth recommending!

Stayed in a 2 double besd river view room for one night. Staff at the homestay are informative and helpful. Helped arranged pick up and drop off from train station at reasonable price. Room is clean but a bit disappointing with the towels provided. Looks old, overly used and thin. The room soundproof was not great. Our room was same level as the lobby and street and just next to the stairways that leads to other rooms from the lobby. Can hear other staffs and guests walking up and down early in the morning. Read reviews of many old homestays in furong with view of waterfall that the room will smell of sewage but at Tusi Xuanfu it was good. No sewerage smell. Only complain is that can smell other people smoking outside from our room and the water pressure in the shower was very weak. The free chinese tea set while enjoying the view of the waterfall was bonus. The breakfast was simple, just noodle soup, mantou and instant coffee. Noodle soup tastes nice especially for a tourist like me. Would conclude that the price of the room I stayed is expensive compared to the quality of the room. The view from the courtyard is GREAT, just not from the room because the room only has view of the platform, and river but not the waterfall.

Owners are very kind, friendly and ready to help you. I added their wechat once booked. They will pick up us which the place under 3 choices. and he help us take the luggages to hotel, that is not far from oldtown entrance. The location is very good. Not loud and fuss. Very quite to rest and relax. The front view is so amazing. You can walk around 10-15 minutes to downtown. Owner provide e-map to you. You can left luggages once checked out and walk around old town. Then once you will go to railways, they will help you take the luggages to the old town entrance.

This was the place where I had the best sleep during my trip in China. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The aircon/heater is very responsive. The hotel is located at the 3rd floor and there's a staff stationed at the ground floor who is supposed to help guests carry the luggages up. Staff was friendly and helpful tho' they can't speak english but that's not an issue at all. Deliveries done by a robot. The only gripe I have is that the hot water took ages to come and the ceiling is too low and we bumped our heads :( so be careful if you book this room with view.

The customer service was great. They also gave me local specialty souvenirs when I checked out. The room was clean, air-conditioned, and there was convenient parking. There was also a large open-air terrace. It was very cost-effective.

The hairdryer able to the dry hair quite fast and I love their soft bed. It is located near the main road and this is also the reason why I chose this place as I do not want to lugged the luggage around. This area is more local and you need to walk a bit to the central of the tourist place. It is quiet at night.
