We had a great few nights stay at Scandic Grand Central. The check-in process was smooth- The hotel even provided an online check-in option that would also notify us when our room is ready so that we can check in earlier. The room was a little smaller than we imagined but nevertheless well-equipped. The breakfast buffet is a MUST- There's a wide variety of food and they are all scrumptious. The staff was warm and accommodating- Big thumbs up to the cleaning staff who greeted us everyday without fail with the biggest smile on their faces. The location is also fantastic-Its very central so all the tourist attractions and transport is within walking distance.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Valo Hotel in Helsinki, and it was an exceptional experience! The modern design and warm atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. The amenities, including the gym and wellness area, were top-notch, providing a perfect way to unwind after a busy day of exploring the city. This time I stayed in Helsinki for two nights and took a trip to Kuopio (a city in northeastern Finland). It is very convenient to live here. It is next to the train station and a relatively large shopping mall. It is very convenient to go to the city and the airport. , the distance is not very far.

It's worth it for a short stay while waiting for your flight. The hotel provides a free shuttle (till late) to and from the airport. The reception is also 24h so you don't have to worry about checking in late. IHG members (free membership) can also check-out late at 2pm (if available) so that's a plus point especially if your flight leaves in the later half of the day. The building is not incredibly well-maintained but for this price point, beggars can't be choosers. It can get a little noisy at night- The walls are not very soundproof. But otherwise, the room was clean and had all the amenities needed for a short stay. Breakfast buffet was good- I'd recommend getting it :) Hotel staff were incredibly helpful and polite as well.

I have no idea why some complains about the customer service, it was nice. The location is not really far from PK area, but there are not many restaurant options nearby. The worst part for me was just that the room is quite bad though the hotel was not really expensive. I have not seen any hotel that does not have a shampoo or body wash... Ofc, no toothbrush, no toothpaste.. No fridge, even no glass for drinking.. 🤔

The hotel itself is modern and new but the breakfast was really not nice unfortunately! Some staff also lacked friendliness

It’s very nice hotel if you need a clean room to take a rest. Stylish and clean. Breakfast at 4:00 AM, very kind to people who will take a early flights. The most important thing is the comfortable bed, and shower.

Walking distance from the Helsinki Central Station, but if you are coming with a big luggage, it is advisable to take the Tram No. 3 or 6 from Rautatieasema Tram Station and get down at Fredriksgatan, walk 3 mins to the hotel. The hotel is clean, decent room space and I enjoy my breakfast. Walking distance to nearby shopping malls and convenient store. Highly recommended!

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The key was electronic, but there was an error and it didn't work, so they quickly issued a physical key which was helpful. The sauna was also very good, but the rooms are switched between men's and women's depending on the time of day, so be careful as anyone can open the key. Also, if the person who used it last time hasn't cleaned it, the floor will be soaked. Even with the above in mind, it's a pretty good sauna so if you stay here, please make sure to use it.

From the convenient location near the airport terminal to the friendly, efficient staff at check in and the clean and comfortable room: I was very happy with my overnight stay at Hilton Helsinki airport and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a good place to stay for the time between two flights.
