We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Beppu and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location is absolutely ideal — centrally situated and within easy reach of popular attractions like Beppu Station, the hot spring districts, and local dining spots. Whether you’re exploring the “hells” of Beppu or heading to nearby onsens, everything is just a short drive or walk away. The room was perfect for our group of three. It was spacious, well-designed, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The beds and futons were very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and quiet — great for resting after a long day of sightseeing. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like extra towels, slippers, and good quality toiletries. One of the biggest highlights was the bathroom. Ours had a large window overlooking the city and surrounding hills — soaking in the tub while enjoying the view was a real treat and added a luxurious touch to the stay.

It was a very nice hotel. There were two elevators and each one had a display so you could see which floor you were on, which I thought was very nice. It was a very large and impressive hotel. I will come to Oita again.

An absolutely fantastic onsen ryokan with a superb, prime beachfront location. It was the most affordable onsen ryokan I booked for this trip, yet it turned out to be the most delightful surprise. The tall gentleman at the front desk provided absolutely outstanding service! He was so warm and friendly, and his sincerity truly shone through. Much appreciated! Definitely make sure to reserve the private open-air onsen on the 6th floor. Soaking in the onsen while watching the sunset is such a blissful experience. The room we booked also came with its own private onsen. It offers incredible value for money. All the staff members were incredibly polite, and the breakfast was delicious too! I absolutely adore Beppu city!

The room was very small, the bathroom steps were too high, the breakfast was simple but it felt very delicate. The breakfast time ended too early and the Japanese time ended at 9 o'clock. One day, the lady didn't wake up. I asked the front desk if I could bring two small breads. I was rejected... I couldn't accept it! ! ! This service is worse than hotels in the mainland. Hotel Trip.com is 2 stars, very accurate, rural express hotel. There is a 24-hour big M around, there is a supermarket opposite the big M, remember! You can cash, you can't swipe your card and IC card. Living here is mainly because it is very convenient to take the baby to Sanliou Harmony Paradise. Finally, the bus here must inform the driver where you want to get off, or he keeps, it is easy to cross the station without looking at the map. This is my experience from Oita Airport by airport bus. Remember!

The AMANEK hotel has two buildings, one high and one low. Because I stayed at a more expensive hot spring hotel next door the day before, I booked the shorter and older building to save money. The whole building has been renovated, but the facilities in the room are still very old. To use the swimming pool, bathing area and gym, you have to go to the new building. There is nothing to take pictures of in the room, and I didn't go to the big bath, but just went to the gym to exercise. The staff are still very friendly, which is very satisfactory👍

I stayed in a smoking room. I'm a smoker so it was good because there are only non-smoking rooms available these days. The breakfast was also delicious and I ate too much. The hotel staff were always smiling and helpful so I was very satisfied.

We changed room type when we got to the hotel (from Seaside Maisonette to one of the Tower apartments) and this was seamlessly offered to us by the night staff. Service is top notch. Great for families. The food is wonderful and there is private onsen in every single room. Highly recommend for families of up to 4 persons to stay in the tower apartments. They are very new and well furnished.

The room was clean and spacious. The hotel grounds were stunning, though unfortunately, the bad weather meant we couldn't see the sea 🌊. The hotel's service was also excellent. Despite a slight language barrier, we managed to communicate well overall 🤣! The hotel's hot spring facilities were fantastic – comfortable and clean! We were very happy that the restaurant had Chinese-speaking staff, which made communication incredibly smooth.

Overall, the aging, breakfast and room cleanliness were clean and good. Especially the breakfast was great for the price. This is a hotel to consider if you visit again.

The capsule was clean and very well-located, less than a 10-minute walk from Beppu Station and just 5 minutes from Takegawara Onsen, where you can enjoy a unique sand bath! The on-site onsen with a sauna, which is included in the price, was a fantastic amenity. Just one thing to note: there are no showers on the capsule floor, so you'll need to use the facilities within the onsen area.
