I recently booked a Standard Room at GLOW Ao Nang, and my check-in time was scheduled for 3:00 PM. However, I arrived at the hotel around 9:00 AM. I understood that early check-in might not always be available, so I waited patiently in the lobby for several hours.
While I was waiting, I noticed that several other guests were being checked in earlier than the official time. Curious, I politely asked the front desk staff — a lady named Koyen — if early check-in was possible in my case. She informed me that early check-in was only available for guests with Deluxe Rooms. I was quite surprised to learn that check-in policy varies by room type, especially within the same hotel.
Additionally, I observed a clear difference in the level of hospitality. Other guests were warmly welcomed with greetings, welcome drinks, and even had their luggage carried to their rooms by hotel staff. Unfortunately, in my case, I didn’t receive any welcome greeting or assistance with my luggage. It felt quite different and honestly a bit disappointing.
As a guest, I believe all customers — regardless of room category — should be treated with the same level of courtesy and hospitality. This experience left me feeling that my presence was somewhat overlooked.
I hope this feedback helps the hotel improve the consistency of guest service across all room types.
Thank you.

Hotel front entrance was undergoing renovations and guests had to walk to basement for access lift to lobby exposed to rain. Management could have done better to moderate guests’ inconvenience. HOT water in bath was “faulty” such that each time technician fixed the hot water, again there was no hot water the next shower - could the technician activated the time switch to save electricity? My 5 days stay with cold showers after returning from the rain… bad experience.

The setting is absolutely serene. Surrounded by nature and distant from tourist crowds, the location offers a tranquil atmosphere perfect for unwinding. Whether you're lounging by the pool, taking a walk in the lush gardens, or enjoying the peaceful views from your room, it truly feels like a retreat.

Great location for Muslim travellers – just steps from Ao Nang Mosque and surrounded by halal restaurants. All the staff are friendly and very helpful, massages options at the hotel spa are quite affordable, and there’s an activities counter with plenty to do. Only 10 mins to the beach, plus a gym and kids club.
Swimming pool is big and fine, but kids’ pool needs better upkeep.

I have travelled around Thailand for a month and this was one of my last stops. Out of every hotel I stay this was my favourite one. The staff were SO helpful with everything. They helped me book speed boats and gave me recommendations to all the best places. I rented a scooter from them and it was in good condition and super convenient for the island. The breakfast that was included was delicious and the hotel rooms are super comfortable. Overall I would say my favourite thing about this place is the staff. All of them are amazing, friendly and kind people.

We have always been a fan of Centara brand of hotels. We have stayed in Centara Anda Dhevi Aonang a few times and it never dissapoint. It is a nice hotel to stay, although the location of the hotel can be a bit far out from the Main Street area. It would be good if you have a car or bike to run about. Otherwise, the Main Street is about 20-30minutes walk one way. But it is away from the noise - bikes, boats, crowds. It is a charming hotel in the area of Aonang.

The location is great. The beach is just right across and hotel is a 2 minutes walk from the Night market and about 10-15 minutes from downtown Ao Nang. The hotel breakfast was okay, some variety in food. The room was tidy and spacious. The only downside is the lack of warm water in the shower, it’s more like lukewarm. There’s also no closet in the rooms.
Honestly, one of the best hotels we have stayed in thailand, very clean, very welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met and the scenery was exquisite.
If you're lucky, you may even spot a cheeky monitor lizard on your way through.

Before booking this hotel, the reviews were average, there is always someone not happy with something, but i found the hotel clean, comfortable, and accommodating. We did book a ground floor room with pool access, but we're given a 2nd floor room also with pool access, this turned out to be a bigger room, withe better views. Whenever we found something that needed doing, TV remote battery change, balcony light not working, it was dealt with almost immediately after we reported it.
Muslim friendly and very close to the mosque and the night life, and with a 25 minute walk to the night market, this hotel is great.
There is a steep slope to reception, but they have a tuk tuk, which will help with cases, just ask at reception

Nice hotel, Beautiful beach, delicious food, the staff does their job very well, everyone is very friendly. The area is beautiful, the environment and fauna are impressive. This place is worth visiting. Clean rooms, good cleaning. 3 great swimming pools and a large area. Also the restaurant has a beautiful view of the sea.
I would like to mention the work of Bell Man Chotipun R. He was always very helpful, smiling, a friendly guy. And guy Wichet, he kindly helped me after the boat, a lot of thanks for this. All the staff deserve respect and are very professional do there job
For new people, who don’t know the location of the hotel. I can advise to get to the hotel, especially if you have heavy luggages, it is better to join the shuttle boat which provide hotel. Or if you get there in the evening after 18:30, order a private boat from the hotel if you want to save time.
When I arrived, late in the evening, I was given a room with a not very good view, on the villas which are fenced off with black tape, and there were processing renovation. I request for a change of room, the staff at the reception kindly changed my room, and gave me a room with a really great view. Gratefull thanks.
Definitely I recommend visiting this hotel

GGuest UserEnjoyed my stay. Amenities were all nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful (special thanks to Mr Suttirak Bank). Kids enjoyed the swimming pool and kids play room. Complimentary daily snacks was an added bonus. Didn’t have options for halal food for their breakfast. Overall, my family were happy.
IItsnamthipA Perfect Birthday Stay at Pakasai Resort!
I stayed at Pakasai Resort in Ao Nang, Krabi for 2 nights (June 22–24) and couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience—especially for my birthday! I originally only hoped for a room upgrade, but the resort went far beyond my expectations and made my celebration truly unforgettable.
From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and the surprises didn’t stop there. On my birthday, I was greeted with a beautiful birthday cake, a thoughtful message arranged on the bed, and genuinely heartfelt service throughout the day.
I also booked dinner at GAIA, the resort’s own restaurant, and was treated to a free cocktail to celebrate. The atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent—it was the perfect birthday dinner.
The resort itself is cozy and peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery that makes you feel close to nature. The pool area is lovely and relaxing, and the entire resort has a calm, welcoming vibe.
Overall, I felt truly taken care of during my stay. I highly recommend Pakasai Resort to anyone visiting Ao Nang, especially if you're looking for a place that combines comfort, nature, and genuinely caring service. I’m already thinking about coming back!
GGuest UserExcellent hotel on the beach. The rooms, service and breakfast were pleasing. There are free kayaks, you can swim to the neighboring beaches. The hotel itself is located away from busy areas and shops. Therefore, you need to either take a bike, you can at the hotel, or buy everything you need in advance. Tuk-tuk does not go to this hotel, there are no taxis on the island. To get from the hotel to the north of the island you will need a hotel transfer. I liked the hotel, for a vacation for several days, in silence and almost no people on the beach.
YYoTravelBoiyHotel was nice and clean. Suitable for families with small kids.
Location wise, not near to Ao Nang central but walking around 15-20 mins to there or opposite side Aonang landmarm.
Infront hotel tourist information counter and on the right give good price but depends on the travel company. But all good.
Have swimming pool and also slides.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is conveniently located close to Ao Nang Beach, making access to the seaside very easy. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and check-in was quick and seamless. The facilities felt quite new overall. The rooms were spacious, and the balconies were also generously sized. It was incredibly relaxing to lie on the round sofa on the balcony, enjoying the breeze and watching the beautiful sunset. The hotel breakfast was also quite good.

GGuest UserGreat choice for a family!
We spent a week in Amari vogue resort and we are so happy for our choice! The staff are so nice, helpful with everything we asked to make this experience as comfortable as possible! It’s a very quiet place built with Thai architecture very clean and our upgraded room was big and had all the necessary equipment to make us feel great.
Breakfast has European and Asian dishes and every day they had different selections. Surprisingly, there’s a Starbucks store in it too! We had 4 times dinner at the Marcos beach restaurant and the food was really delicious.
The resort helped us also to book a long tail boat to visit the islands across.
Truly, it’s hard to find negative things in our stay. Maybe for some people they won’t feel comfortable with the lots of stairs but you get used to it fast.
Near the resort there are no shops and you need to ask the reception to book a car to bring you to AoNang, the closest town that has all the necessary stuff, markets, restaurants, pharmacies etc. It’s about 20’ minutes away. There’s a choice to rent a motorbike as well.

GGuest UserLovely hotel! good location! And fantastic staff! big shout out to the barman at the pool (sorry! Never got his name) and Aek for helping me get my mums phone back when she left it at the beach, Aek drove me to a town 20 mins away to retrieve it which was greatly appreciated!
EElvis.007Very cool. We got welcome drinks which was good and refreshing. But didn’t check in before 2 pm because of so rush season. Have good breakfast but night service over phone not up to the mark. But I left my phone charger in the room but from hotel management send it to Bangkok which was really appreciable. I should mention the location was totally perfect spot because no need to walk from ferry place. Recommended.
