Anio Boutique Hotel Hoi An is a gem in the heart of Hoi An, offering exceptional service, comfort, and a true taste of Vietnamese hospitality. It’s an excellent choice for those seeking a memorable stay in this historic city.
advantage:
Environment: The internal environment of the hotel is very good. Although it is not big, it has a unique small garden and swimming pool, which makes it feel more peaceful.
Service: The service is really good and couldn't be better. The manager and waiters are great. The room I was given at the beginning had a musty smell due to the orientation. After communicating with me, I was immediately changed. I was shown several rooms to choose from until I was finally satisfied. Then I gave them fruits to express my apology, and finally we all saw them off when they left the store, which was very warm. I can also help you ask this or order that. Really good. 👍
shortcoming:
Location: Because I was not familiar with it, I thought it was very close to the old town, but it is actually only 2km away. Taking a taxi is a bit difficult during peak hours, and there is not much to visit around. If you can’t take a taxi when you come back from the ancient city, it will be very tiring to walk for half an hour.
Musty smell in the room: The side facing the small garden is probably the north side. Regardless of the floor, there is a strong musty smell. I am personally more sensitive and can't stand it. The other side is fine, but there is a family outside that raises a lot of chickens. Ducks and dogs are very noisy. . . Cannot choose if you are a light sleeper
Hot water for bathing: It may seem to be powered by electricity. After one person finishes washing and the other washes immediately, the hot water is gone. But maybe many hotels in Vietnam still have electric water heaters, so you should pay attention to this.

Everything about the hotel was amazing. The staff, the property, location and everything was great. We had an beautiful and relaxing one night stay at the moire and would definitely book again. It was valentines day, they gave us a free upgrade which was very sweet of them. Hoi an was my favorite place in Vietnam and moire hotel was one of the reasons for it.
One word: Underwhelming!
Pros:
a. Connected to Casino, walking distance less than 5 minutes from lobby.
b. Breakfast spread is good. Pho and smoked fish.
c. Balcony is nice, with bathtub. Room service was good and not much dust. Hotel is clean and feels luxurious.
Cons:
d. Swimming Pool was smaller than I thought.
e. Front Desk tried too hard to upsell the Lounge Access, which was quite misleading the way it was presented.
f. Casino is very mediocre, will not recommend going all the way there for it.
g. Location of hotel is too far from Old Town. (Around 11 km, cost around 150-200k VND via Grab.) Only book this hotel if you are a gambler.
During the weekdays it was a nice and calm stay. The room is great. Bed is comfortable and huge, the balcony is just lovely and the pool is great.
About the food... I would not say it is great at all, western options are just low quality and they even put ketchup on everything (?)
Coming from a country like Spain I don't think you are going to enjoy the food here at all. My personal recommendation is to get a taxi to Hoi An and ask for a Cao lầu in a street vendor, the quality will be awesome and for less than half of the price of a coffee in the hotel 😅
As mentioned, I enjoyed a lot reading and chilling by the pool during weekdays but, in the weekend the zone was pretty packed with kids and families and, although I like seeing them enjoying it, it is not a relaxing and calm experience at all. Consider that :)
All the staff are friendly and the facilities are clean. If you request a buggy, it comes quickly, and towels and bottled water are provided every day. The breakfast was okay, and the dishes were cleaned promptly. I was in a 3-bedroom pool villa beachfront room, and it was nice to walk to the beach pool and the sea. However, the shower room in the ocean-side room on the 2nd floor requires a squage. There was some water from the shower on the floor, so I had to wipe it away. This is a place I want to visit again next time. Please continue to keep it clean like now.
THis wasnt a particularly great experience.
The hotel is located quite far from the city and it is inconvenient and somewhat expensive to make trips. The proximity to vinwonder is great but we would locate ourselves for long in this property in future.
Executive Suite room wasn't special. The outer area should have a bed in place IMO.
Facilities and cleanliness is good. Facilities wise, they are lacking play activities for children.
Service was okayish. The staff seemed to be struggling to manage expectations and general flux of guests. Were quite disorganized. They should seriously consider hiring a good management team to take care of reception. Food is restaurant was nothing special and took forever to arrive.
I didnt enjoy the experience much compared to our experience in similarly expensive properties in Thailand in past.

DDbrady101The hotel is lovely.. the staff are so helpful.. food was ok ..plenty of choice for Asian traveller's but not much choice for European . Usual bacon and eggs... ....lovely Lady Than on reception, so pleasant and older gentleman on door.. ...others are quite forceful on selling you trips and spa treatments..not nice when you're trying to enjoy your breakfast. You do feel obliged to buy... the massages are great everywhere you go in Vietnam.

JJakeCDWe would like to share a great recommendation of this hotel to anyone who is looking to visit the Hoi An or Da Nang area. From check in to departure we had an amazing experience.
The breakfast is extremely fresh and room clean, sometimes they even clean twice with turn down of bed and biscuit. The welcoming staff service in unmatched. With special thanks to Jay who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was outstanding. They were always accommodating of any special requests or general questions. I will definitely recommend this to family and friends and stay here when we return.
The two pools were great and evening drinks at the bar with a different live music everyday was a nice touch with a relaxing homely feel. Coming from larger hotels, we really appreciated the homely and personal feel with reception often remembering our room and names. We loved every second. Thank you!
GGuest UserI stayed here 5 nights, using the hotel as a base for my day excursions to Hai Van Pass, My Son, and Cham Island. I like the location, just outside of the Old Town, so quiet enough, but accessible (by free bicycle); the hotel has free bicycles for guest to use. Otherwise the walk may be a bit far, especially in the heat. The rooms are a good size and good value at this price point. The staff are friendly and helpful; they asked if I wanted to switch to a large bed upon check-in as I had inadvertently booked a twin room.
Cleanliness is generally good, nothing wrong with the rooms. I give it a 3 star rating only because there is some algae growth in the swimming pool. But on the upside, the pool is not overly chlorinated.
Breakfast is simple but perfectly adequate; there is an egg station, normally some fried rice/noodles with some stir fried dishes, bacon, sausage, fruit, tea/coffee, bread and some pastries. I would have liked some yoghurt and granola, but that is just me.
Currently there is noisy construction work (for what looks like a new wing) going on, which starts early in the morning (7AM) and continues throughout the day. This was not an issue for me as I spent most days out and about, but you should be aware if you are booking this hotel in the next few months. Also, on the issue of noise, there is no soft door closer on the guest room doors, so you can here quite a lot of door slamming by some inconsiderate guests.
All in all, if I was to come back to Hoi An, I would stay here again (assuming the construction work is completed).
소소I got a suite and the room was spacious and nice
The smell was too bad because the facilities were old.
The staff are very friendly and grab five thousand won to Old Town
Go.
CClaudia PortoThe hotel is very big which makes it a bit confusing during breakfast, very crowded and noisy.
However during the day guests seem to go separate ways so we didn’t feel this overwhelmed at the pool or at the beach.
Very nice pool and beach.
Nice service, in the reception and in the pool/bar, all are very nice, attentive and willing to help.
TThomasProbably one of the best all round hotels we have stayed in. We moved here from another hotel that we didn't agree with. Could not have picked a better choice. The hotel is spotless and looks to be brand new. The staff are all young, but what they lack on experience they make up for with the friendliness and helpfulness. The roof top pool is perfect for the hot Hoi an weather. We basically had this to ourselves for the 4 days we were there and only saw one other couple use it. The views are over the river and you can just about make out the sea in the distance, stunning during sunset. Hotel does a happy hour which is extremely good value on cocktails with some of the best mojitos we've had anywhere. Breakfast was great standard with both local specialisties and more traditional western options. We also used the Spa which was just as good a standard as anywhere we've been for a fraction of the cost. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
Gg_raceA little far from old town, but free bike rental at hotel or 20 mins walk. Good location for quiet night. Wifi was very weak, kept connecting and disconnecting. TV also kept pausing, due to lousy network connection. Good service, once you book they will message you to provide chargeable transport to their hotel. We went for a massage but its expensive and not good, also skipped some steps and cut short the massage (paid for 1 hr but only had 45 mins of massage). Overall clean room, good breakfast, clean pool. But on the first day during breakfast, my boss was asked for his room number 3 times, even while eating. He thought it was a bit rude and they should have a system to check on entrance and let the guest eat peacefully after. Also during checkout, the lady was super persistent to get me to write a review on trip advisor while staring at my phone screen while I type. She didn't even care that my driver was already outside waiting for me. I thought that this behaviour was a little overboard as she could have just trusted me to complete the review while I was in the car. And also give me the privacy to write a proper review instead of keep staring at my phone and reading the review while I type and trying to 'advise me what to write'.
But overall enjoyed my stay.
