It's inside a big building, if you walk a bit from the Tsim Sha Station with A1 exit towards the right, near the Rolex Store. It might be a bit harder to find, so I contacted the manager and he helped me find it. It's okay for a 1-2 night stay, it's clean and you can cook your own food and use the washing machine. The bus stop to the airport is just beside the building, so you can directly catch the A21 bus to HK Airport, so it's a plus. The rooms are okay but with no windows, Wifi works!

Environment:
In the central area of Mong Kok, it is very convenient to go anywhere. The subway station is right next to it. Popular attractions can basically be reached in 10-20 minutes. Many popular shops are nearby, which is very convenient! !
Hygiene: Very clean. It feels like a better room in Hong Kong. It deserves a 5-point review. The review is really true! The room is very clean and tidy, and the bed is not dirty. It's very good!
Service: When we arrived, we called the sister at the front desk very early to store our luggage. The attitude was very good! Later, when we checked in, the triple room was not booked, so the boss upgraded us to a triple room and asked us to contact him if we needed help. I feel that the person in charge of the hotel is very good! I am very happy to stay
Facilities: The facilities are also very complete! Very convenient!
I will continue to live here when I come to Hong Kong again!

Room with 2 double beds is just perfect. Great value for the price, awesome view and perfect location. We will definitely book this room every time we are in Hong Kong. It’s clean, and room is quite big if you compare to other options in HK.

This hostel doesn't seem to be much more than two rooms with bunk beds and ensuites (i.e. no common area or kitchen). The staff do not speak any English and disregarded me when I used Google translate. The ensuite in the female dorm was extremely small, with the shower and sink being on top of each other. I understand this may be common in Hong Kong since space here is limited, but it wasn't the most comfortable stay.

Very good location, clean room& worth the price!Daily refresh of room was also included! Conveniently located along Nathan Road with MTR and Airport Shuttle within the area in less than 3mins walk! Do take a bigger room if you prefer more space as rooms in HK is generally small. Very nice and kind owner who offered me to wash my laundry if I wanted before I depart! Would definitely stay here again if I go back!

Though the unit was quite small, I think it was a good value for the price. The location was very convenient, as it was close to DS Grocery, Lunfung, Ladies Market, the Bank of China, and the station. Everything you need is nearby, making it a great spot to stay. The owner/manager was also very accommodating and took care of all our requests. While it wasn’t the most luxurious place, I really appreciated their hospitality, and I still enjoyed my stay. I only stayed there to sleep and shower, so if you're looking to save money while being close to the center, this place could be a good option.

The owner of the hotel is very accommodating and helpful. I appreciate Kevin for helping us during our stay. It above and beyond service. They make us feel that we are family. We are super thankful to Kevin. The room is very clean and relax coming from your everyday tour. I will definitely stay again at Happy Motel when we visit Hong Kong.. From Jhetie, Liezl, and Batuts

Not really a hotel - just an apartment in an apartment block divided into men's room and women's room. So no front desk etc. Check in with wechat was ok though. Room was clean, bathrooms (for women) are connected to the women's room just fyi the glass is semi fogged (you can't see anything but you know, it's fairly communal for some strangers). Not a lot of room for baggage and no lockers etc. Great location though on main street in TST and right next to the metro. Cheap as chips.

AAnonymous UserI didn't really expect much so I wasn't that disappointed. But I get where the bad reviews are coming from. If you're expecting a hotel service, you'd be disappointed.
My room was really small. Rooms are situated in what seems to be an apartment unit made into small partitions. I booked a bunk bed, but I got ”upgraded” to a solo room but without a door. They just covered the door with a bedsheet haha. From what I could observe, that's the only room without door. Thought of transferring to bunk bed room a night after, but I thought I prefered having my own space even with the makeshift door. So I stayed for the next 2 nights.
The owner replied fast via whatsapp. I requested for self check-in, and instructions were on point and easy to follow. At first, I thought the room I went it belonged to somebody else because there was a small luggage under the bed. Told this to the host and he said it's his. So maybe the room I was assigned to wasn't meant to be for guests. There was an electric fan in the room.
What stands out is its LOCATION. Very near the subway, around 2 min walk to the exit. 7eleven and mcdo nearby. Famous dimsum resto called dim dim sum is in the same building. Ichiran ramen mong kok branch is also nearby.
Hostel also has washing machine, so you can do your laundry here. Shower with heater, shampoo and body wash are availbable in the two showerooms/toilets.
Overall, it is great for backpackers who just needs a place to sleep in.
TTerry18Very good, very bright! ! !
Unbeatable sea view, not scary at all! ! !
The big fishballs in Cheung Chau are delicious🤤🤤🤤
Very comfortable stay, however no slippers no toothbrush
GGuest UserThe location is excellent, just a few dozen meters away from Exit A1 of Yau Ma Tei. There are tea restaurants and restaurants downstairs. Breakfast and dinner are very convenient, and it is convenient to go anywhere. The room is larger than similar hotels. The two beds are 1.35 meters tall, but the quilt is a bit thin. In Hong Kong, this room has a lot of space for a family of four.
VViktoriia LyzhovaIt was a great and warm experience in the Centre of HongKong! Despite the fact that the room is really small it was clean and pleasant to stay. The owner is such a helper , enormously friendly stuff . I’m so satisfied with my experience there . Highly recommend
DdinaaaaSo we came as a family and at first I thought we only had three beds for four people booked. To my surprise there were four beds in our room, so everyone could sleep on their own. The room was a bit small though for four people with four big luggage bags but it worked out in the end. The bathroom was small but enough. What I didn’t like though was the wet bathroom style, meaning that when you shower, everything gets wet. But from what I’ve seen in other Hong Kong hotels, it’s just the same.
It was a bit hard at first to find the stay, but because of someone’s review, we found it pretty quickly. The building itself looked a bit shabby (undergoing renovation) to be honest and made me a bit fearful at first, but it was very quiet and we didn’t meet too many people.
What I have to commend though is the owner, a very nice older man, who waited for us since our check in was late. Upon asking he also left us an iron for the duration of our three day stay! Very nice people!
TTom2122It's cheap, not at all as the picture its advertised , like a dormitory bunker with a decent bed and mattress, blankets are clean and pillow is okay, toilet is horrible with shower and no space to move. The amenities are only bad quality roller paper and a towel. Nothing else! The hotel and attract more customers if they are better with decent real pictures and better service, the owner a guy who doesn't speak English is really unfriendly and cold. He has no way to treat guests. They had shampoo though... It's okay for one night or short term. Easy check in and out! No deposit!
GGuest UserVery nice hotel, the boss is very nice, I can put my luggage first and check in in the afternoon, and there are a lot of food downstairs, including egg waffles, fried rice noodles, and McDonald's, I love it
GGuest UserHong Kong has a lot of money, so the room is a bit small, but it's still very clean, and the landlady does the cleaning herself. The transportation is very convenient. About 20 meters to the right of the Huayuan Building entrance is the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Exit C2. It is very convenient to go anywhere. Victoria Harbour, the Avenue of Stars is just a few minutes walk away, it’s really great!
