Great accommodation experience, the location is very good, it's only a few minutes' walk from Xiaximen to the inn, and it's also close to the main street. The children love the bunk beds, the room is well heated, with floor heating and central air conditioning. The inn also provides free breakfast. The breakfast includes scrambled eggs with vinegar, which is very delicious, and goji berry millet porridge is very nutritious. The owner's family also offers free wearing of ancient costumes at designated locations (you only need to pay for makeup), and there are also souvenirs, which is very heartwarming. The housekeeper is also very enthusiastic, introducing tourist routes and providing 🈶️ free maps, which is really thoughtful. The housekeeper is also responsible for picking up and dropping off at the city gate. I would recommend it to friends

Very beautiful guesthouse with amazing patios! Very nice owners! The lady can speak English and help book tours with a guide which helped us a lot. Breakfast available, both Chinese and continental. Very good location within the old city, close to one of the main streets. We loved our stay there and highly recommend this guesthouse!

I have been on business trips all year round. This store gives me the feeling that I am doing it with my heart. I also said it with my heart: I looked at what everyone said before I went. I was still on the highway in the early morning. I called the boss and said it late. The boss was very patient to point the route; In addition, the room is the same as the picture, and it feels clean and comfortable. It is very natural. The first floor is the owner's own restaurant and store, which is all available. Parking is convenient and it is really convenient to Baquan Gorge. Because it is difficult to go to the scenic spot at noon, it is difficult to find a location in the parking lot, so I told the boss to stop at the door. He also explained and helped find a place. I really appreciate it. I think in all aspects, this store is doing it with care, and I recommend everyone to stay, and I will go again if I have the opportunity.

So fortunate to have stumbled upon this place! Its design aesthetic is exactly what I prioritize for my trips. While standard hotel rooms are a dime a dozen, a place with such meticulous design, from the courtyard to the rooms, is a rare gem. Having a unique living experience while traveling, something you wouldn't find in a typical city, truly feels like an added bonus. You can genuinely feel the owner's dedication; they are incredibly accommodating. On a rainy day, they personally drove us to grab some beer and even made coffee for us – that unique grasshopper grinder deserves a special shout-out! My overall impression was one of pure, resort-style relaxation and indulgence. In comparison, while the objective advantages are also top-notch, they almost take a back seat. The location is superb; all ancient city attractions are within walking distance. A taxi to the high-speed train station was surprisingly quicker than from locations outside the city. If you prefer to stay in, you can enjoy tea and conversation in the charming courtyard or tea room. The four-story layout ensures each room has its own distinct charm. I definitely plan to return to experience the other room types.

It was Women's Day, and it was another Saturday and Sunday. My wife and I took a break from our busy schedule to visit Pingyao Ancient City. We booked this hotel online. From the moment we booked, the hotel manager contacted us. Meeting us at the high-speed rail station was a pleasant surprise. We also gave my wife flowers for Women's Day (though I hadn't already given her one) and a beautiful jewelry box as a souvenir. This stay was absolutely perfect! The service was impeccable, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. The rooms were spacious and bright, well-equipped, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The hotel's location is also fantastic (right in the heart of the ancient city). Both the amenities and the service were top-notch. Every detail was meticulously thought out, and they were always ready to help. (The tour ended at 10:30 PM, and the hotel manager was waiting ten minutes early to take us back to the hotel.) It was an impeccable stay and I highly recommend it to any discerning traveler! This hotel completely exceeded my expectations!

The stay was very cozy. I really liked the style of the inn. Overall it was pretty good! The room hygiene, facilities and breakfast are all very good. The location is also good. The inn is located behind the main street and is very quiet without any noise. It is only a few hundred meters away from the main street. They also gave us afternoon tea with fruits in the afternoon. It is good and I will definitely recommend it to my friends who are traveling.

Great location, quiet neighborhood but not far from the center. The room is clean , comfortable and has the atmosphere of an old traditional home. It is the service that needs significant improvement to warrant the current four star rating.  The price was for two people and yet, there was one tea bag per person, a very small roll of toilet paper and the facial tissue bixes were almost empty. The breakfast was no better: ine boiled egg, a small bun, a bowl of sweet porridge and a tiny slice (about one tenth) of a sweet potato and a root vegetable, with a tiny portion of pickled cabbage. For a mainland B&B well below standard. What’s more, the old nan who was on duty in the morning would pick up dirt from the floor while handling food with bare hands and had trouble finding toilet paper in the storage room while I waited outside in freezing weather. The host is friendly and helped with orientation and organizing transfers to the railway station, so with little improvement in service this could be a good choice for Pingyao.

Our kids absolutely loved it! It truly felt like stepping into an immersive Jin merchant's compound. The lanterns lit up at night created such a magical ambiance! The location is also very convenient. Huge thanks to the host for the excellent travel tips and delicious food recommendations. We also joined a guided tour to visit the various museums in the ancient city. Even when we checked out two hours late, the host was so considerate, asking if we needed more time to rest! Overall, a truly wonderful experience!

I compared many hotels online and chose this one. After placing my order, a housekeeper contacted me. The pick-up and drop-off service was fantastic. I didn't even have to carry my luggage; the front desk guy helped me along the way. Everyone else was incredibly welcoming, making it feel like home. The hotel's setting is an antique courtyard house, giving it a time-travel feel and a sense of history. The room amenities and cleanliness were excellent. Xiaodu turned off the lights and curtains, and the room also had an automatic toilet, a humidifier, and a small refrigerator (with free drinks). Breakfast was buffet-style with a wide variety, and the beef, bowl tray, and kuoluoluo were delicious. The location is just over 100 meters from Ming and Qing Street, making it very convenient for commuting. I'd definitely stay there again!
