Homestays in Jeollabuk-do, South Korea

This was my first time traveling outside of Seoul. The room was cute, but I wasn't entirely sure about the air conditioning, and I was outside the facility when I had to ask questions, so it was difficult to communicate with the staff. It was pitch black when the room lights were turned off, so I would have liked some kind of night light. We communicated via LINE, so we were able to get our point across, but it was disappointing that it took so long for them to reply.

It's cold because the room has a central heating system. When I inquired at the front desk, they said they would raise the temperature. It was cold though. If you feel the cold, we recommend a nearby Ramada.

할머니를 모시고 가는 여행이라 숙소를 고르는게 제일 고민이었는데, 기대이상으로 너무너무 쾌적하게 잘 지내다 왔습니다! 위치도 한옥마을 중심이라 동선이 길지않아요! 특히 침구가 너무 편안하고 깔끔했어요 ㅎㅎ할머니가 매트리스 정보를 궁금해하실 정도로 편하게 쉬다왔네요☺️ 아! 연계로 할인되는 곳도 많아서 좋더라구요👍🏻덕분에 교복체험, 콩나물국밥, 흑백사진 모두 야무지게 즐겼습니다ㅎ다음 전주여행때도 여기로 오고싶어요🤎

I returned to Jeonju. I had a quiet, fulfilling trip. Two years ago, I stayed on the outskirts of the Hanok Village, but this time, I chose a place inside, and it was an excellent choice. The owner was friendly, and the accommodations were clean and spacious. And the breakfast was hearty (thank you!). It was a wonderful trip.

Easy check in as owner is next door operating hanbok rental. Room is comfortable though got some spider web on the ceiling. Breakfast is toast bread, banana and persimmon. Washing machine is broken so unable to wash cloth.

동생들과 오랫만의 여행을 전주로 갔는데 하루 묵을거라 달빛방으로 예약했어요ㆍ작아도 다른숙소보다 방이 크다는 리뷰를 보고예약했는데 사장님이 조금 더 큰 햋빛방으르 흔쾌히 바꿔주셔서 너무 감사했어요ㆍ대문을 열고 아기자기한 마당을 지나 들어갔는데 넘 예쁘더라구요ㆍ방도 청결유지가 잘 되있고 편안하게 잘 쉬었다 왔어요ㆍ전주가시면 아지자기한 온유로 한번 가보시면 어떨까요?

I live in Jeonju, but my relatives came on a trip and booked accommodations, and everyone was satisfied. It’s a great location to see Jeonju Hanok Village! Even though it is in the middle of Hanok Village, it is not noisy, You can feel the charm of an old hanok. The mat on the floor is soft so my back doesn’t hurt. The second floor was a little taller than expected, but it was very cozy to sleep in. It was better because both children and adults could stay together.

It was my first time staying in a hanok house! It was easily accessible from the Hanok Village, and the accommodation was very clean overall. Due to the nature of hanok houses, they are said to be poorly soundproofed, but when I was staying there, the other guests were very considerate of noise, so I didn't notice any noise at all! The owner was also kind, and I was happy that he greeted me in Japanese. I would definitely like to visit again!

Although it is located in an area slightly outside the center of Jeonju Hanok Village, it is within walking distance of everything, and it is only a one-minute walk from the bus stop for Jeonju Station. It was a traditional Hanok room with heated floors. The room had a private shower and toilet, and was kept clean. The bedding is on the floor, so those who are not used to it may find the mattress thin. The room faced the courtyard, and we sat on the veranda and enjoyed complimentary fruit. There is also a breakfast and drink corner here. The owner was very kind, introducing us to restaurants and telling us about the Hanok Village. It was a good experience for us. Thank you very much.
