The service staff was very friendly, which I appreciated. But there are a lot of homeless people nearby, which is disturbing. The room has no ventilation, seems to have not been cleaned, and the facilities are also very poor. Since I booked the hotel at the last minute and the price was not high, I accepted it. The hotel has two locks, but the odd tenant is a little unsettling. Thank you very much to the receptionist for changing me to a more suitable room! If I were given a choice again, I would not choose this hotel. I still appreciate every service member's help. Breakfast is a simple buffet with hard-boiled eggs, toast and juice. Dinner was simple rice with sauce on top. There are many supermarkets nearby. You can choose to go shopping on your own, but be sure to avoid the hordes of homeless people.

First of all, it was very clean. The cleaning staff cleaned the room carefully. The floors and hallways were sparkling. The futon was fluffy. The lockers were under the bed, so it was a little difficult to use. The refrigerator in the kitchen was well managed. In addition to the refrigerator, there was also a mini locker, which was convenient for storing small foods. There was also a washing machine. The shower outlet was a fixed type. I stayed for a week, and sometimes the sound from the club below was so loud that I couldn't eat on the sofa space next to the kitchen. My room was on the third floor, away from the club, so I had no trouble sleeping, but I feel sorry for the people in the rooms nearby on the second floor. The volume of the sound varies depending on the DJ of the day, but on loud days, the bass was so loud that it made me lose my appetite and the vibrations pushing up from below were extremely unpleasant. It wasn't like that every day, but if that hadn't happened, there was a supermarket and an ATM nearby, so it was very nice.
It was an amazing exercise staying at Turtle, it’s in the middle of downtown, super close to ocean, restaurants and night life is good. I’m definitely staying there again! It was clean n neat, no one disturbed, guests were super friendly.

The staff that I interacted with gave subpar service. No eye contact, just wanted to get rid of you all the time, etc. I was satisfied with the facilities especially the free breakfast which were good. I did not enjoy the noise and vibration past 10am which came from the first floor. Staying at the second floor was too close to all the noise.
Very good, there are Chinese-speaking staff, you can contact us via WeChat, and you can pay with PayPal or credit card. Clean and tidy, the yard is quiet. Peaceful.
Helpful staff, laundry on site. Kitchen has NOTHING not even cutlery/plates. Hard when traveling and jut wanting to buy trays etc. should have basics in there. Air con not air con really a built in fan with cold water. Our room got hotter not cooler and it was checked it was cold in the system but didn’t want to blow that out. Was told not an air con! So sad especially the price you are paying!

GGuest Userwith the price we were paying during the peal season time, I would say quite worth it. Staff was super nice.
GGuest UserAvid traveller and honest review. Booked 3 days and got an older room with a plug in oil heater and fan because baseboard not renovated. Crowded plug in and power bar behind a dusty tv to run it all. But budget so rather expected a few things. Had to stay one more day so booked online , got a better room but upon arriving found a young women passed out briefly with a “pipe” in her hand right at the entrance and because children where on premise I reported as I booked in and it seemed blown off. A man then lead said girl in who was obviously “working” but also in no shape to give consent and I said to the clerk exactly that as well that she had blood down the back of her legs, who seemed to blow it off. I am disturbed with the fact that the young woman was easily going to be victimized. So , if you are ok with that, and no guarantee of your room quality then this is the place . Horrible accommodation, no ,I’ve seen worse, and second room was certain up to par, but the neighbourhood may also allow for other types of “stays” it seems because it was absolutely blatant. But hey, it was cheap!
GGuest UserExcellent hotel at great location. Staff were friendly. Room was nice and clean. They upgraded us for free to a room with kitchen. Sandra at front desk was friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfect for the price with a lot of amenities including breakfast. They also have boardgames that you can barrow to play.
Amazing experience.
GGuest UserLocation is fine, depending on where you want to go. The bus stop is just few steps away from the house. There is a church nearby. Opposite the house you can find a low-rise apartment.
The house and the room I stay are very clean and comfortable. The landlady is friendly and helpful. I feel safe.

Recommended for single female travelers, if you are unsure of having homestay.

林林Driving from Victoria to Jasper National Park, it's great to live here! The front desk service is very friendly. Although the language is not fluent, I quickly moved in with a few sentences of unfamiliar English and added an extra bed. The rooms are not large, the facilities are complete, clean, and it is affordable to stay one night. Breakfast variety has good nutrition.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel has solid amenities, there’s a gym, pool, and a functional kitchen. The room was spacious and had everything needed for a comfortable short stay. It’s a good option if you’re looking for a place with complete facilities at a reasonable price.
That said, cleanliness could be better. The room had a dusty smell, and the walls were visibly dusty, which took away from the overall comfort. Some finishes, like the cemented sinks in the kitchen and bathroom, felt a bit unfinished.
Service was okay, staff were polite, though not welcoming. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM, which doesn’t give much flexibility.
Overall, a decent stay with good amenities, but there’s room for improvement in cleanliness and service.
HHay Tung GinnieA very cozy place where you feel like at home, the friendly staffs is a great catch, the 2 girls who started at 5 am preparing your breakfast always carry a sweet smile that makes you day with great start, Gloria and Darren always take the extra mile to make suggestions for places to visit and dine caring to your preferences, the man in charge, Sam, really impressed me how far they go to make a conventional hotel business with great concern to being Green, the team there makes it different from the others and I would recommend anyone who is visiting Victoria to book yourself couple of nights there
