Booked a private room and it exceeded my expectations. The hostel has been newly renovated so the rooms are modern and clean. Spacious bed with a nice side sofa, free washer and dryer with detergent provided, and the location is stellar, right next to the main street and subway. Highly recommend

I love the location of this hostel. It was just right across the Zhongyang Street subway stop (Line 2). If you go to the Ice and Snow World Park, that's only three stops away for only, if I remember right, RMB 2. Make sure to read/check the other reviews for photos of the gate that will lead you to the door of this hostel. I arrived in the morning, about 10 a.m., and was welcomed by JP. After sorting out my things, I left my luggage to head to the Ice and Snow World Park where I stayed until 5 p.m.
I took the subway back to Zhongyang Street. I planned on walking from there to Saint Sophia Cathedral but it was too cold for me. I live in Beijing but I am originally from the Philippines so even if I was dressed warm - thermal clothes, hot packs, several layers, downjacket, scarves, beanies, ear muffs - it was still brrrr cold!
I took a Didi car from there to the cathedral and spent about 30 minutes there and then went back to the hostel. There was a social night going on downstairs but I was so beat that day I just decided to rest. I briefly interacted with a lady from Singapore named Megan.
The following day, I walked from the hostel to Hongzhuan Morning Market which is a culture of its own. Come hungry and happy! From there, I took a Didi to go to the No. 6 factory of Harbin Pharmaceutical Group Holding Co. It is dubbed as the ”Louvre of the East” but having visited the Louvre itself, it doesn't really come close. I think the moniker just came from the fact that there are several paintings and art collection in the building and the area outside feels a bit like you're in Europe.
Another Didi ride got me to Lao Daowai or the Chinese Baroque Street then another Didi to Central Street. Don't miss these two as they are filled with worthy buildings and spots to marvel, photograph of or buy trinkets from.
Harbin was the last stop of my northeastern China winter sojourn. Will I come back? Maybe. Will I stay in this hostel? Maybe.
I like the arrangement of the beds in this 16-people dorm for girls but the bathroom is a squat toilet and I don't like that. If I ever stay here again, I will choose the rooms with Western-style toilets.
The beautiful landlord is very nice ~ The little secretary's handwriting is also very good ✧٩ (ˊωˋ*) و✧ The fish skin handwriting experience is very [666], Fuyuan is right to live here [smiling ] The single master of the Youth Hostel by the chartered car is also top professional, and the time is controlled. Without him, we would not have had a great trip ٩ (˃̶͈̀௰˂̶͈́) و I hope everyone chooses such a great hostel

Very good location. Close to Zhongyang street and 10 minutes walk to Hong zhuan morning market.
Staff here are young people, they can speak some English and we sometimes use translator to chat with them. They were very helpful and enthusiastic.
Wifi here also was fast in a lobby and also in the room.
Airport drop off and pick up was also good.
The room is small though but it's okay when compare with the price and location during peak period (winter season).

Stayed here for 3 consecutive days. The boss was very nice and recommended places to eat. It was also very cheap. It was very convenient to stay here. I visited all the nearby attractions. The night market and morning market were only a few hundred meters away. It is worth recommending

This is my third time to stay in this hostel.
The staff here are very helpful and provide very useful information about places to go and dinning places, etc. Since I made a last minute short trip away the Harbin, the hostel has a flexibility to provide a cancellation of the room without charge.
In general, staff here are very nice and the atmosphere of the hostel is good. You can join their group to get /provide useful travel information. If you have interested to join hostel activities such as short trip, board games, it is welcomed to ask the front line staff too. Collaboration makes things better.
Last but not least, the cat star here is very popular.
A large public area where you can wear large flowered fish skin jackets for free and take photos. I also bought two small fish skin pendants. Many of the postcards inside were taken by the boss himself. It is very clean. Everyone plays cards and checkers here. The boss is a good cook. I suggest that he open a restaurant in the future. Hahaha. This place is relatively remote and the pace of life is very slow. I go to the riverside for a walk every day to watch ice fishing and feel the breeze. It's quite comfortable. I stayed there for four or five days and will go to Mohe next. I hope this store will get better and better~

This youth hostel is just the best youth hostel I have ever been to. The people are really nice, friendly and can speak english. This is a must place in Harbin. It's a lot of fun for kids and adults to be able to be creative, cook, and play music or sing on the stage. We made a pen out of wood, and made some baozi. I recommend it for people who want to have fun and make some new friends. We have great souvenirs of this place and hope to be able to come back soon.

A magical youth hostel, a place where people can't leave after they stay.
Let me talk about the stay first, the sanitation is very good, very safe, the equipment and facilities are very warm, and the decoration is also very literary!
As the boss said, this is not just a place to sleep. It is also a community of cultural gatherings! Have the privilege to be one of their regular activities.
I didn't expect the cat holly to have such a big ability, invited the heavyweight non-genetic teacher!
A lifelike intangible handwork, a sound of laughter, finally shocked the heritage of the craftsman spirit, traditional craftsmanship and the intensive cultivation of ordinary materials around.
Thank you Cat Winter! Let me really understand the greatness of intangible heritage! Let me shock the Chinese people's pursuit of superbness! The boss and the teacher's last words have also sublimated again! They are really using their own efforts to do a meager job for the national culture and Longjiang Cultural Tourism. But I feel great instead!

This youth hostel is family-style, with not many beds. There are only six beds for girls, but the rooms are spacious and bright. It is located in Songbei, some distance from Central Street, but the transportation is very convenient. There are markets, restaurants, and supermarkets. They are all nearby, suitable for those who are not visiting Harbin for the first time or want to stay for a few more days. There is a washing machine, which costs three yuan a time (washing powder is provided), and there is a place to dry clothes. The host will invite everyone for dinner from time to time, and the atmosphere is very friendly! Located on the 26th floor, the view and air are good!

IIBRAHIM إِبۡرَاهِيمَ 依布拉欣If you're planning to visit the Harbin Ice and Snow World, remember to purchase spikes at the counter (8 YUAN). It's affordable and can prevent falls and injuries. Unfortunately, I slipped on the ice and badly hurt my ankle. Luckily, there's a nearby hospital, Harbin Shengfeng Hospital, just a 10-15 minute walk away (you can use Google Maps). The doctors there are helpful, but they don't speak English, so bring your passport and use Google Translate if needed.
On a brighter note, I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. They have a large mirror and a hot water station where you can prepare instant noodles. Although they don't have a kitchen, you can easily get utensils and a mug from nearby convenience stores, especially if you're planning to make coffee.
One thing I found really convenient was the international charger ports provided for each bed. Before checking out, remember to strip your bed and leave a note in the lobby to indicate your presence. I left a Malaysian flag as my mark.

Very good homestay, the clerk is warm and thoughtful, the homestay environment is good, the service is in place, and free pick-up is also provided. I am very satisfied with my stay. I will continue to patronize next time I come to travel. The entire environmental service of the hotel is good. Very good, very close to the place of business trip and stay next time. The room was clean, the breakfast was rich, and I would choose here on a business trip. Satisfied and satisfied.

GGuest UserThe room is clean, hygienic, quiet, and warm. The hotel owner is considerate and enthusiastic. It is very close to the morning market on Central Street and Red Brick Street. The transportation is very convenient. You need to bring toiletries and slippers in advance. The prices in the supermarkets near the hotel are also low, which is OK. After checking in, I went shopping to buy some. I bought a toothbrush and toothpaste for 5 yuan in total. There are great barbecues around and the price is affordable. If you come by yourself or with your best friends, this is a good choice~
