Hostels in Xinjiang, China

Very nice hostel, it's located within the vibrant part of the old city. Look out for the orange sign above since it's just located at an obscured corner! At night the surrounding area is full of lights.

A convenient hostel in Yining. The dorm beds were very comfortable and clean. There is a small kitchen, not really equipped but there is a fridge. Nice common space but it was kept very cold when I was there (October). The only real downside was the female bathrooms, the floor was always flooded for some reason. Staff does not speak English but very happy to help when using a translator (they do accept foreigners) :)

I only stayed one night. The place seemed clean. Very large, with lots of people to meet. Mostly young Students. I met some, they were very welcoming. I will return and spend more time. There is a lobby/reception area where there is a pool table and you can play recreational games with friends and socialise. Also there is some instant food, such as noodles available for purchase. I would recommend this Hostel - great place to meet people. I will return one day when I come back to Yining

Unbelievably excellent; I am in fact, very pleased with my choice, as well as the decision to not stay in the ”old town”. This hostel is perfectly organised and managed. The roof terrace is quaint as was the bar and lounge area. Water and hot water is available, as are beverages and laundry is free. Upon check-in there were tourists from Germany and France. There was always hot water, the bathrooms were cleaned daily, and the lockers and doors were accessed via key card. There is space inside for bicycles and should you desire, there was a western toilet.

I planned to stay in Urumqi for a short time, but the facilities were good, so I stayed for 4 more days. It is close to the airport and Urumqi Station. It is a bit far from the city center. The two cats are cute. It is a bit disappointing that I cannot do laundry.

The atmosphere of Xinjiang trip is really great. The boys and girls play hand drums, guitars and sing their favorite songs in the lobby. There are also folk dance teachers to teach everyone to dance on weekends. On weekdays, we also travel together, cook, eat, play with cats and go to the bazaar. In short, everyone has a lot of fun. I wish all the friends who meet here peace, happiness and all their wishes come true!

這次伊寧之行真的特別幸運，住到了這家讓我完全放鬆下來的青旅，必須給五星好評！ 首先，位置超級方便，就在六星街市中心，去哪都很近，不管是打車、逛夜市、吃新疆美食，走幾步就到，特別適合像我這樣一個人旅行的人。旅舍整體的氛圍非常舒服，裝修有質感但不浮誇，有很多本地攝影作品和文藝擺設，隨處都能感受到店主的用心。 公共區域整潔又温馨，住客之間也很友好，很容易交到朋友。床鋪很乾凈，床墊是乳膠的，軟硬適中，睡得特別香。每個床位還有窗簾和插座，女生入住特別有安全感。 我這次住的是女生間，房間通風好、採光好，夏天睡覺非常涼爽舒適，不用空調也不悶。 衞生方面是我最滿意的一點，洗浴間和衞生間都非常乾淨，幾乎沒有異味，而且洗澡水壓大、温度穩定，用得很放心！ 老闆人也特別好，還會做咖啡，有空還能和你分享本地旅遊路線或攝影建議，聊起來特別舒服。 如果你也來伊寧旅遊，尤其是像我這樣喜歡自由行、注重住宿體驗的朋友，真的強烈推薦這家青年旅舍。

I am a veteran traveler and have stayed in many youth hostels. I am not stingy with my comments. Gobi Desert is the ceiling of youth hostels in China. First of all, as for the accommodation environment, I have traveled for two months from eastern China to here. This youth hostel is the best one along the way. The sanitary environment and facilities are the most comfortable along the way. The public area is very large, and the kitchen, restaurant, and lounge are all very complete. The atmosphere of the youth hostel is really nice. The manager and volunteers are of very high quality. They also interact with everyone, play games, and cook together. It brings back the feeling of the youth hostel in previous years. The decoration style is also very nice and the photos are very good.

It's very good. It only takes 10 minutes to ride a motorcycle after getting off the high-speed rail station. It is also very convenient to ride to Liuxing Street. The room is clean, the toilet is a bit small, and the shower is quite comfortable.

Wowo Youth Hostel is my first time staying in a youth hostel. It completely overturned my previous imagination of youth hostels. I originally thought that youth hostels would be noisy and would not have a good rest. Unexpectedly, Wowo Youth Hostel is quiet. , clean and tidy, with novel decoration. What satisfies me the most is that its yard is very large. There are fruit trees and flowers in the yard. I sit in the yard in a daze every morning. It doesn’t feel too good. And the boss is very nice and knows how to do it. He gave me a lot of suggestions for my trip to Yining. If you plan to come to Yining, you might as well come to Wowo Youth Hostel to experience it. It will definitely give you a different experience on your trip!
