Facilities: All that is needed. The washing machine is good and very clean.
Hygiene: Very clean. Kashgar is dusty. You can see the aunt mopping the floor every morning.
Environment: The decoration in the style of local ethnic minorities is very good. There are even travel photographers who come to the door to take pictures.
Service: Very good. We left in a hurry and there were some problems with the itinerary. The boss even helped us pry the lock of the cabinet (with our informed consent). Thank you boss. The atmosphere of the guests is also very good. They fed me red date soup.
But there is a problem. There is an employee in the store who is quite rude to customers. I hope to train this employee more, or send him to Beijing for me to train him personally. ⬇️

Quality stay for solo traveller (men) , individual women(not suitable for women that like to comment).
For me , I have stay at university hostel before. I know hostel can’t be too perfect. This hostel in my opinion already 5 star because it manage to make the bed as clean as 5 star hotel , the area at shoe rack might not perfect but overall is the best when compared to 4 star hotel.
Malaysian who want to explore xinjiang, this is the place (Rm27 per night only , it is more than u needed)

Maybe it's a new store. The sanitary environment is quite good. It's a small alley a little inside the road. There's a bazaar across the road and a mosque next door. It's quite close and the transportation is convenient. The hostel is also adding or renovating one after another. The public area and yard are really nice. The room is also good. After all, it's newly opened. There is a covered terrace upstairs to dry clothes. You can go up by iron stairs. There is air conditioning and a private bathroom. It's been too long, so I don't remember it very well. But the environment is quite comfortable. It's really good and worth staying.
I forgot to take pictures, so here are some street pictures of Kashgar.

I have stayed in three youth hostels in Yining, and this one is not the type I like.
1) I booked specifically for a 1.51-meter bed, but I saw a 1.2-meter bed. I asked the check-in lady, and she gestured with her hands a few times and said it was a 1.5-meter bed. Later I measured it. Are they missing a ruler?
2) There seemed to be a few volunteers, but they were not very helpful, and the layout of the public space was a bit messy.
3) Collecting a deposit and refunding it after checking out may be convenient for management from the perspective of the inn, but it is more troublesome from the perspective of the guests.
4) It is a bit far from Liuxing Street.
Unbelievably excellent; I am in fact, very pleased with my choice, as well as the decision to not stay in the ”old town”. This hostel is perfectly organised and managed. The roof terrace is quaint as was the bar and lounge area. Water and hot water is available, as are beverages and laundry is free. Upon check-in there were tourists from Germany and France. There was always hot water, the bathrooms were cleaned daily, and the lockers and doors were accessed via key card. There is space inside for bicycles and should you desire, there was a western toilet.

The hostel accepts foreigners. The staff was very friendly and helped me to find a place which issues permits for Tashkurgan. They quickly respond to WeChat messages and are well informed about the things that an ordinary backpacker might need.
The hostel itself has very comfortable beds, hot water and shampoo. My stay was very nice, and I totally recommend it.

Really nice hostel and the owner will do his best to help you. They proposed great tours that I recommend. You have shops and restaurants around and close to the railway station, which is nice because it is the picking up point of the tours.

The facilities are complete, the Wi-Fi is great, the shower is hot, and the washing machine is free for laundry! A perfect choice for backpackers, the beds are very comfortable, and the staff are very patient and gentle. The yard is very large, and it is very pleasant to sit in the yard and chat. If you want a warm stay, Gumaoning B&B is the right choice! It is very convenient to take a shower and go to the toilet. If you have any problems, just tell the front desk and the front desk will solve it quickly.

Wowo Youth Hostel is my first time staying in a youth hostel. It completely overturned my previous imagination of youth hostels. I originally thought that youth hostels would be noisy and would not have a good rest. Unexpectedly, Wowo Youth Hostel is quiet. , clean and tidy, with novel decoration. What satisfies me the most is that its yard is very large. There are fruit trees and flowers in the yard. I sit in the yard in a daze every morning. It doesn’t feel too good. And the boss is very nice and knows how to do it. He gave me a lot of suggestions for my trip to Yining. If you plan to come to Yining, you might as well come to Wowo Youth Hostel to experience it. It will definitely give you a different experience on your trip!

This youth hostel in Kashgar really exceeded my imagination. It is the cheapest youth hostel I have stayed in since I came from northern Xinjiang to southern Xinjiang. It is really worth the money. There is a big tree at the entrance. I don’t know what kind of tree it is, but I like places with trees in the yard more. The owner of the youth hostel is a young girl, easy to talk to and interesting. There are washing machines here, clothes hangers on the roof for hanging clothes and cooking, and refrigerators for storing things. Compared with the youth hostel I stayed in Yining, it is much better. When we went to Taxkorgan, the owner also helped to find a car, and completed a very good three-day trip to Taxkorgan. In general, this is a very good youth hostel with a very high cost performance and a good location. There are lockers in the room. It is very convenient to visit the ancient city in the ancient city. Highly recommended!

LLEWIS JOHNExtremely well located, and great value for money. Happy staff who are very welcoming, and the room had everything it needed.
My only concern was some extremely noisy guests in another room, which continued from midnight until 6am on one of the nights. Admittedly, I did not raise this to the staff as it felt too late to do so, so I cannot comment on how well it would've been handled. I'm sure they would have helped to stop it. It does mean that the soundproofing isn't totally perfect, but everything else was very good.
Enjoyed my stay, will return if I come back to Kashgar.
TTatkoFacilities: The facilities are relatively complete. There is a bathroom in the room but it is relatively old. The heating is OK but not cold, and the bed is a bit hard.
Hygiene: The hygiene is OK, but the decoration looks a bit old.
Environment: The location is very convenient, on the 10th floor of Huijia Times Zhongxing Building
Service: Not bad, the front desk is a young man.
I have stayed here several times and I feel that there is no change. The advantage is that it is convenient, and there is everything in the shopping mall downstairs. The disadvantage is that the facilities are old. There are no curtains and the air conditioner is not very useful.

ЯЯ КрутThere is a slightly unpleasant smell in the room, the smell of the whole room, my head hurts. Also the mattress on the bed is hard, you can't sleep well. Overall the price and quality are normal. You can spend the night. They ask questions at the reception, where you came from, where you were. They shouldn't be interested in this. Rating 5 out of 10.
HHerleik HoltanOne of the truly great hostels you come across every once in a while. Mostly because of the host, that makes every day unique and fun. Real sense of community with the other travelers because we're always doing stuff together. A simple breakfast is included, which is great for the price.
The hostel itself is very no-frills. You put on your own linens, you're expected to bring your own cup, and you have to buy your own toilet paper. The toilet paper thing is puzzling to me as a westerner, but not unheard of in China.
If you want luxury, stay somewhere else. If you want memories, stay here.
SStuart McD.Lee was a great host, speaks excellent English, and was very helpful with suggestions on both things to do around Turpan and also border crossing how to info. The dorm was clean, and supplied with clean linen (make your own bed), and with an attached hot water bathroom. The lodgings are simple, but there’s plenty of space, and upon arrival I was invited to eat dinner (pictured) with Lee and some other guests—delicious! After dinner they screened a movie on an exterior wall.
The location is midway between the station and Turpan proper, neither of which are comfortable walking distance, but taxis are cheap and easy to get. The hostel is within easy walking distance of one of the very interesting water irrigation museums, and there’s a good Uighur restaurant about ten minutes away on foot.
If you’re on a budget, looking for a “traveller vibe” style place, and don’t mind the slightly out of the way location, this is a great option. Would stay here again.

was previously a hotel converted into an international youth hostel. We booked a twin-bed room for one night. There is a Uyghur girl who spoke impecable Mandarin with a tad bit of Beijing ascent at the front desk when we arrived. The check-in was speedy. The room was spacious and clean so were the bedding (no foul smell). The uniqueness about this hostel is, it does not provide bath towels and toilet papers. Instead, guests are given one-use towels and a pack of tissue papers which we double up as toilet papers. Initially, I thought the one-use towels (place on a try in the room) were bathing soap because they were in compressed form so I went to ask the Uyghur girl for towls and she told me those are actually compressed one-use towels.
There are restaurants and minimarts next to the hostel and a night food street nearby (approx 200-300m by foot). No a bad choice if you need a layover or a couple of days stay to explore Kuqa.

AAnonymous UserThe location of the hostel is easy to find, right on the street. The toilet and bathroom are both single rooms, so it's not too crowded. There is also a special non-smoking activity room for non-smokers. There is a bus stop at the door, so it's very convenient to go anywhere.
