I booked the Twin and 4 in 1 beds and both rooms have the same size. The 4-in-1 I stayed in had very little to no luggage space and since it is a shared room, you'll have to mind your movements and space. The shared bathroom was decent for a few nights stay but it wasn't as clean or pleasant as my hostel stays in other countries. If you're squimish about odors and noise, this place is not for you. For some reason, they didn't give out towels for the 4-in-1 room type but they did for the Twin one; hence do bring a TOWEL or rent out for 5 pounds.
Great service and friendly staff were always available.
Breakfast was great for what you paid, and it was all you can eat. Toast, ham, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, coffee, not a full English breakfast but very affordable.
Things like amenities such as washing and towels were available, but had to pay a small price extra for.
The facilities were good and there was a bar/hang out area which was open each night and made it very easy to.mingle with fellow travellers.
Very central to the city and most landmarks were walking distance about an hour or so which is good when visiting a new city. Of course the London tube is available.
Would highly recommend anyone travelling to London solo for a nice experience to meet fellow travellers without breaking the bank.

Clink261 Hostel exceeded my expectations! The location is perfect, just steps away from the main attractions and public transport. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped me plan my itinerary, even suggesting some hidden gems. The dorms were clean and spacious, and I loved the rooftop terrace where I could unwind after a long day. Although the Wi-Fi was a bit slow in my room, it was fast enough in the common areas. This hostel is ideal for solo travelers or anyone looking for a social, budget-friendly stay. I’ll definitely be back!
During my recent stay at Smart Hyde Park View Hostel in London, I was pleased to find that the accommodations were not only comfortable but also impeccably clean. The room I stayed in was well-maintained, contributing to a positive overall experience.
One notable aspect that stood out during my time at the hostel was the exceptional friendliness of the staff. The team was consistently approachable, helpful, and displayed a genuine interest in ensuring guests felt welcomed. Their warm demeanor significantly enhanced the overall atmosphere of the hostel, creating an environment that was not only comfortable but also hospitable.
I appreciated the attention to cleanliness and the commitment of the staff to provide a pleasant experience. These factors combined made my stay at Smart Hyde Park View Hostel a memorable and enjoyable one. I would certainly consider returning in the future and recommend it to others seeking a well-maintained and welcoming accommodation option in London.

Overall a nice hostel for solo travelers to seek for a place to have a nice rest during their journey. The room is clean and quiet and lockers are provided for free for us to store our belongings. The common kitchen is opened for 24 hours and the environment inside is pretty nice. Worth for a try if you are traveling to London and searching for a place to rest!
As a solo traveler, I had a fantastic stay at Saint James Backpackers. The hostel's central location made exploring the city easy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to offer tips and recommendations. The communal areas were well-maintained and provided a great space to meet other travelers. Overall, I highly recommend Saint James Backpackers for solo adventurers seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Place is amazing and the staff was friendly. However the bed was super uncomfortable and infected with bed bugs which I communicated but basically was told that I could change beds the next day. Such a let down because otherwise I would never stay anywhere else.
Not enough shower/toilet.
Just one small wall fan for the entire room, I guess it's ok during winter. Unfortunately, I was there at the beginning of summer, so a bit uncomfortable at night.

AAnonymous UserThe location is convenient, close to underground station. The communal areas were cozy. However, I did encounter an issue with cleanliness in the room. Despite this, the service was good overall and the staffs were helpful, making it a decent value for money.
Eethanwade1298Would like to say that the hostel/bar staff were very welcoming and helpful and were very professional.
Hotel was clean and bedding was comfy and shower room was clean only issue is woken up by a loud noise when shower was being used by others.
SSurachaiThe bedroom and bathroom are quite narrow. There is almost no place to put it. Strong water, free WiFi, but in the room the signal is not good, there is no TV, but overall good, near the train station. Near a mini-mart, suitable for Backpackers..When sleeping late at night, you can hear the sound of people opening and closing doors, the sound of people walking, disturbing when sleeping.
GGuest UserSt Christopher's Inn Greenwich is the first hostel I lodged when I first got to the United Kingdom in February 2023 and this prompted me to book the place again this year.
The cleaners and some members of staff were very nice and respectful but a short lady was very rude to me. She is light in colour and I have her picture.
I approached her to make some enquiries but she insulted and made derogatory statements to me. She even shouted at me and was very rude. I was embarrassed by her actions and just left the lady.
She pierced her ears and was on duty around 1.30pm on Monday 26th February. Her actions depicts someone who is frustrated and I don't expect the lady to be pouring her anger on customers. What I avoided was confrontation with her because I am a gentle person who doesn't like unnecessary arguments with people. But I feel lodgers deserve some form of respect which for me is reciprocal.
GGuest UserVery close to tube station and bus stop. Its well situated. The bathroom were clean. I was there for just one night (Friday). It was quiet. I didn't use any other facilities. Would stay again.
JJosh CreekI got a warm welcome at the bar, where the check in takes place, once you have our key card the hostel has a separate street entrance. There is a big communal room, which includes a television, a kitchen, sofas and tables.
Each bed has a spot light, plug socket and curtain for privacy. I thought the showers and toilets were clean and in good condition. The breakfast is plenty and worth the money of £5. Overall a very nice sleepover.

AAnonymous UserI have to admit, the lobby really surprised me—it’s stylish and has a nice vibe, which gave me a good first impression. The staff I met were pretty nice and polite throughout my stay, which I appreciated. The location is super convenient, and for the price I paid, it felt like a good deal at first. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but at least there was hot water, which was a relief.
But honestly, the negatives outweighed the positives for me
When I finally got to my room, I was shocked to see that the “mattress” was actually just a blue gymnastics mat—definitely not what I expected. Even though the sheets were clean, it was uncomfortable and I barely slept well the whole time.
It was summer during my stay and the room was absolutely boiling—over 30°C in the daytime. There was no air conditioning, not even a fan, and I felt like I was melting every night. Honestly, I dreaded going to bed. The soundproofing was terrible too; I could hear people shouting at night, which made it even harder to get any rest.
Another thing that annoyed me was that the website said there was a dryer available, but it was out of order—just like the elevator.
To be honest, the stylish lobby and friendly staff simply weren’t enough to make up for all these issues. I really wanted to like this place, but I left feeling tired and disappointed.
