All are foreigners, if you like to make friends, you can come, but you need to know some English. Although it is a multi-person room, it is very quiet when the curtain is drawn, even if someone snores, it is not noisy. There are air conditioners and fans, so it is not stuffy. It is best to bring your own towels and toiletries, otherwise the rental fee is 20,000 Lao currency. There is a swimming pool, billiards, table football and a small music bar, suitable for staying for a few days to practice English 😂

Clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was good and an excellent location. The host speaks English and is very attentive to guests and keeping the facilities clean. I would stay here again

The hostel is well located and within walking distance of major sites. It is close to a minimarket and a few restaurants. Beds are big, and breakfasts are included in the already very affordable price. The owner is very helpful and hilarious. When I came and was really starving, he offered to cook something for me. As I was worried about not being able to book a car ride to the airport, he eventually drove me there on his scooter. He is very chatty and willing to share his enriching living expériences.

Very good, the location is great, right by the Lancang River, and close to the main attractions, but there are a lot of geckos in this place, you can see the little cuties when you look up, the facilities are really average, but if you need help, you can get help from the boss, the price-performance ratio is very good

Great hostel especially for this price. You should definitely book it in Luang Prabang if you’re a solo traveler on a budget. Although Mad Monkey has a reputation of party hostel, I slept well and weren’t disturbed by any sounds because bar in the hostel shut down at 11pm.
Female dorm was nice and clean. There are curtains for each bed, hair dryer in the bathroom, you can also rent a towel.

GGeorge MuletThe front desk was very accommodating. They let me check in early and check out late. It’s a Chinese hotel and the front desk operator spoke Chinese. You can communicate with him via WhatsApp or a translator app.
The room was cozy and had what I needed. Water, shampoo, shower gel, dental kit and towels.
The front desk operator was even kind enough to take me to the airport on his motorbike after I checked out!

XXavierBREstablishment with functional and very nice wooden bungalows. They have everything you need. The family that runs it is very friendly. They have a bicycle to go to the center, since it is far from the town. Walking 15 minutes, but unlit area, on the same road. If you want a quiet place for a couple of days, perfect.

Also, since it's hot during the day, I could go out in the morning, come back to the hotel in the afternoon to rest, go out again in the afternoon to drop off my shopping and other things, and then go out to the night market at night... it was very helpful for me.
There were many types of breakfast, and it was very luxurious and delicious. However, it took quite a while to be served, so please be careful if you are in a hurry.
The staff were fluent in English and very kind.
The room was stylish, but the air conditioning and outdoor unit in my room were very noisy and it interfered with my sleep, so if this could be improved, I would have no complaints.

GGuest UserIt was clean, it was spacious, it had air conditioning, it was fine if you just need a place to sleep and work. But it was a bit of a walk to the center of town and in hot, humid weather that can be quite taxing. On the other hand, if you are looking for a place to party and meet people, there is no common room, no kitchen, or even no shampoo or soap. But for the price, if all you need is a place to sleep and work on your computer, it's fine.

JjeniapechonkinaI really liked the hotel! Clean, cozy, the staff is very polite, the breakfast is monotonous, but delicious! We lived on the first floor, it's a little inconvenient with the windows, but it's okay. The room has a bathtub right in the floor, with a shower. The sink is also in the room. It's unusual, but cool!
The hotel has a laundry for 35,000 per kg, this is a normal price. They wash well and quickly!
But it's better not to rent scooters here, the company that brings scooters is not bad.
We were very pleased!
The location is very quiet, calm, walking distance to everything around. Monks walk right past the hotel in the morning. One of the quietest and most beautiful streets in the city.
