The location is excellent, as it's right next to the Dogo Onsen Main Building.
I was traveling alone, but the single room was larger and more comfortable than I expected, and it even had a massage chair that helped me relieve the fatigue of my travels.
The hot springs were great, and the breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and was delicious.
The all-you-can-drink mandarin juice was a nice touch.
I was very satisfied with the hotel in every way.
Very convenient for Dogo onsen and shopping area. The hotel sits up on a hill, but has an elevator directly to the Dogo onsen pavilion. Neat piano concert in the lobby in the evening and friendly helpful staff, at least some of whom are fluent English speakers. We sent our luggage ahead of us by Takkyubin and it was all waiting for us in our room when we checked in.
Also, the included on-site hot spring spa on the top floor is awesome, much larger than Dogo onsen itself and has a partially outdoor section overlooking the city. Be sure to stop by.
The room was quite small, and the view from the window was a messy cityscape. You couldn't even see Matsuyama Castle from the room. Both the bedding and breakfast were of mediocre quality, which meant it wasn't great value for money.
However, the location was excellent. From Matsuyama Station, you can take tram line 3 or 5 to Okaido, and the hotel is just a two-minute walk from the tram stop. The hotel is surrounded by various dining options and is very close to department stores.
It's a bit far from the Dogo Onsen area, so it's hard to get out once you enter, and there aren't many places to walk around.
However, it was nice that they welcomed us by blowing bubbles and giving us a sign when we checked in and checked out.
When I said it was our anniversary, they took pictures and printed them for us as a service.
They even gave us a cake as a service. ㅎㅎ
Overall, the facilities were a bit outdated, but we were able to use the hot spring open-air bath leisurely, and the anniversary private bath service was good.
However, there were a lot of group tourists, so it was inconvenient for breakfast and dinner.
Um... the food seemed to be at the level of a wedding hall buffet.
The friendly staff was nice!
Anyway, there were many other services, so it was good!
It is expensive, but it’s worth every single dollar. The hotel located right in the centre of Dogo Onsen. The room is spacious and the view of the city is excellent. The included dinner and breakfast at top notch with excellent service. The service is impeccable!
The geographical environment is very good. The location is very convenient. There is a delicious barbecue restaurant.
And the hotel has free parking service, parked at the front entrance of the hotel
You can pick up your car at any time, which is very convenient for self-driving travel
Hotel facilities are very clean
The room was also very clean
If you're traveling to Matsuyama, I highly recommend the Candeo Hotel.
It's right next to the Okaido shopping arcade and less than 100 meters from the free airport shuttle bus stop, making it incredibly convenient.
The onsen on the 13th floor is small, but it includes an open-air bath and sauna. I used it twice daily, and it was free. The breakfast buffet was clean and delicious.
The tram stop is right in front, so you can catch a cabanas anywhere.
It's an old hotel, so I can't help it.
However, the food is delicious, there is a bath, and the location is good for pilgrims to Ohen. There are no other shops because the surrounding area is rural.
It was used in a hurry due to the cold wave evacuation. I often hear welcome drinks, but this is my first time to drink all-you-can-drink soft drinks and alcohol. It's from 6 pm to 9 pm, but you can have as much as you like. You can also see that some people can come for this purpose. Breakfast is small, but it is a very beautiful dish and I am very satisfied.
The guest is kind and the jutan in the room written to rest well.
I received security.
I don't like the bath being a change system, but it was beautiful and good.
I made a reservation here because I was going to spend a lot of time nearby.
The staff were kind and very polite. The food was large and delicious using local products.
I walk a little on the slope from the place to the place to eat, but it is a good distance to walk while saying that there is a lot of green and I am looking forward to what kind of rice will come out.
It was said that the bath in the room also had a hot spring, but it was always kept at a constant temperature, and although it was 4 people, the hot water did not cool down and I was able to enjoy the bath.
Guests can also see the glass museum.
I had a very calm and enjoyable time. Thank you very much.

AAnonymous UserAttention Henro sama! Perfect stay almost across street from T49. I had walked that day from T46. Onsen use included with hotel stay. Onsen water hot and alkaline slimy, my legs feel so much better after an evening and a morning soak. Breakfast was of wide selection, very satisfying. Stand up shower stall a bonus! Drip coffee machine in room also a nice touch. Very smart, modern hotel.

GGuest UserThe place to go to try Japanese fine dining, kaiseki. I was grateful for the kaiseki throughout my stay, and the hot springs were clean and nice. Room conditions will vary depending on the price, but overall it seemed like an old facility, but it felt like a really neat model of traditional Japanese lodging. The location is reasonably quiet and close to Dogo Onsen Station.
GGuest UserThe breakfast was just right and very delicious.
The building was also interesting and interesting.
The Banto and the inn were very kind.
I stayed at inns in various parts of Japan, but the futon was very comfortable and I could sleep well.
I stayed with my mother who was old, but it was a little hard to climb the slope from the station to the inn.
But it was a very impressive inn.
Thank you very much.
