We held my daughter’s wedding here last weekend and from start to finish it was an amazing experience. Apart from the beautiful venue itself and the stunning views, the whole day was just perfect. Kelly, our wedding coordinator was so knowledgeable and helpful, she supported the bride and groom both before and during the wedding day. All of the staff were so friendly, kind and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. I cannot thank everyone enough nor recommend this awesome venue highly enough. We will certainly be visiting again to enjoy the beautiful country side and to say hello to all the staff.

Had our beautiful day at Craig-y-Nos Castle last week & what a day it was. We were apprehensive leading up to the day after feeling a lack of communication along the 2 years leading up to it, but thankfully we couldn't have asked for a better day. Staff were amazing on the day & couldn't have done enough for us. Michaela was absolutely amazing on the day & I only wish we had of met her sooner as she was an absolute dream. She was helpful, kind, interested in us & all our guests, patient & coordinated the day perfectly. Again we only met Lisa on the eve of the wedding, the wedding day briefly & the morning after, but she was very helpful, polite & again couldn't do more for us. Kelly has been amazing along the journey, our original wedding coordinator left soon after booking when we found ourselves with an email explaining who our new wedding coordinator was but unfortunately we never met her as I feel she went off to have a baby but I could be wrong. Kelly stepped in & was always helpful, went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted & was always on hand during the day to pass us a well needed drink after the ceremony & fluff my dress trail, these little things didn't go unnoticed! Sophie was amazing behind the bar & helping on the eve to set things up, and always so chatty & friendly. The team really does make the wedding a dream & the castle helps with its beautiful regal yet gothic backdrop, there's something about this castle at Christmas that just comes alive & allowed our photographs to look regal & fairytale like. Every guest has said they loved the venue & the day & I believe they truly mean this. There was some issues with heating in rooms but we have been told that the maintenance team was quick to sort this for each guest having issues. The food was in abundance & was stunning, nobody was left hungry or dissatisfied. Thank you CYN and staff, can't wait to come back for an anniversary stay!

Stayed at the castle 5th and 6th of September for our daughter and son in laws wedding. Accommodation was excellent, beds comfy, plenty of hot water and tea and coffee available in the rooms. The wedding planner Michaela was superb as were all the staff at the hotel, each and every person contributed to what was a fantastic day. The wedding breakfast was superb and compliments must be paid to what was a very hard working and knowledgeable chef assisted by his kitchen hands and waiting staff, all guests thoroughly enjoyed. The biggest compliment I can pay is everything went so well ,no one wanted the day to end. Photographer Andrew jenkins and his wife worked tirelessly all day, inside and out in the stunning grounds, another fine asset to the whole wedding package offered at the castle. This is for me a fantastic wedding venue with superb scenery,a idyllic location. Anyone looking for a wedding venue, look no further, the whole team are absolutely faultless, would recommend you pay the a visit and see for yourself.

The building is amazing, and we were very happy with our room. Dinner and breakfast were lovely. We went for the ghost hunt, which was great, but we did feel there were too many people on it. It was supposed to be 30, but there were over 50 on the actual night. This was not the fault of the hotel staff. The following morning we went on a historical tour of the house led by Jeremy, which was informative and entertaining. I would stay in Graig yr Nos again.

Stayed here for our daughter's wedding. The room was very comfortable and spacious, lovely clean bathroom and our room had a nice sitting room. The breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay here again. It was the best night's sleep l have had in ages!

It is an old building and constrained by its age and layout. The heating and hot water issues reflect this. We had no hot water in our bath. Nothing came out of the hot tap. There was a portable electric heater in our room so that was OK. The public rooms were generally cold and the portable fan heaters were not sufficient to make a difference. Be prepared and bring extra woolly jumpers. We were attending 2-3 days that involved talks in the theatre. There was no supplemental hearing assistance for people who are hearing impaired. Valiant attempts were made by the organisers to get a working sound system and this improved the audibility of the speakers for most of the audience. But there should have been a T loop system for people who are hearing impaired or suffer from tinnitus. The age and listed status of the building does not prevent the installation of such a system to comply with the Equality Act 2010. The RNID can provide specialist advice I suggest the hotel seeks specialist advice on this matter.

We were guests at a wedding this weekend, the bride was a very much loved family friend, and the castle staff rose to the occasion, their attention to detail wea magnificent. The wedding breakfast was excellent and special dietary requirements were well met with the minimum of fuss. The nature of the venue was such that though it rained all day, we didn't feel penned in at all, we had free use of many reception halls, a couple of small boys even staged their own little airshow without disturbing anyone!

We stayed for the night. There was a wedding going on so we couldn't have dinner at the restaurant but that didn't bother us. The castle is beautiful and I have always had a good experience here. We stayed in the Theatre Loft and the room was clean and cozy. After breakfast we enjoyed the history tour. I had been on the tour before but my partner hadn't. The guide was really knowledgeable and friendly. I always recommend this hotel when people ask for a nice, relaxing trip away.

Such a beautiful venue!! We came here for a wedding many years ago although both the meal and evening party were in the back function room, this time around the wedding was in the conservatory which is a beautiful room with a breathtaking backdrop looking over the very scenic wooded valley below, and rocky mountains above. I was a last minute add on to the day and the only vegan which did not phase the caterers one bit. Even with the short notice they were able to offer me several options, I opted for the soup starter, mushroom wellington main and brownie for dessert. All three dishes were delicious and were genuinely the envy of other guests who wanted to know how I’d managed to wangle the alternative dishes! Staff were very pleasant and accommodating
