Friendly staff and neighbors. The furniture may be a bit old but acceptable. There's a cozy cafe next to the hotel where you can enjoy dinner with sheesha.

Walking distance to the Nile and not too far from the Egyptian Museum. The hotel is dated. I worried about the electrical safety of some of the appliances. The lamp wires had been damaged and taped back together. The fridge in the room was very dirty. The staff are friendly.

This is a hotel you should not consider, because the hotel is old and does not provide bottled water, also you should not use the tissues in the room because the hotel may charge you when you check out. The front desk staff has no professional attitude. Only the location of the hotel can be considered, otherwise nothing should be considered. The hotel has a lot of hidden charges, be careful, be careful! Be careful, sometimes there will be power outages. Don't be fooled by his appearance.

The waiters can speak English and have a good service attitude. There are restaurants, convenience stores and ATM machines nearby, which is very convenient.

Stayed here my last night of an Intrepid group tour. Located near restaurants, small supermarket and a sweets shop (recommended). Talking to colleagues room sizes can vary but I was allocated what seemed like a suite. Maybe because I was the eldest in the group. My room was spacious and clean. Everything worked fine. The shower had good hot water and pressure. Overall, I had a comfortable stay.

The Santana hotel is quite basic and dated but with spacious rooms. The room and bathroom were clean and the staff is helpful. While the choice for breakfast is quite extensive, the quality of the food is average. Same goes for the restaurant in which we had to wait a while for our food.

Stayed here as part of an intrepid tour. The hotel is basic, but it is clean and has good hot water. The breakfast was nice with lots of variety and omelettes made fresh. Restaurant menu was basic, but tasty and freshly made. The reception staff on check out were not the most friendly. Overall a good basic hotel in a central and quiet location. The main issue for me was the smell of smoke in the rooms which wasn’t pleasant.

Abusive hotel manager called Essam . He insults his guests and lacks professionalism and has massive communication issues. I booked 2 rooms at this hotel for my friends who came from another country and you know this is a very hot weather week. There were no water available in the rooms !!!! They insisted to charge the guests for water which is disappointing and disgusting. What if someone needed to take medicine or was at risk and needed to sip a cup of water! Bringing this to the one who is supposed to be the " hotel manager" he started being very abusive and insulting. I really wish that I would speak to the owner directly!!

This hotel was one of the accommodations where we stayed during our organized tour. We had 3 rooms 401, 404 and 405. The rooms and bathroom are spacious. The beds are fine, the neighborhood is quiet compared to the rest in Cairo. The rooms are very noisy, but we were outside the high season so there was relatively little noise. ATM is around the corner. The breakfast was reasonable. We are used to getting coffee and tea ourselves, but the staff will do that for you. Important: at least it is clean. So if you are looking for a hotel in this area, I would safely recommend this one. You will receive a WiFi code at the counter, which is valid for one day and then you have to get a new code at the counter.
