We recently stayed at Aquila Rithymna as a family of 8, 3 children and 5 adults. From the second we arrived it felt like we had hit the Jackpot with this hotel! The reception staff were so welcoming and friendly, we were upgraded to one of the Villas with Private pool and I cannot explain enough how amazing this was for us! The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean and right on the edge of the most stunning turquoise/blue sea 🌊 Food was amazing, something different every night, staff work so hard to make you feel welcome and to make sure you have everything you need. There is entertainment throughout the day around the main pool and something on every evening too. Kids club is 10/ 10 and they put hot buffet on for all children every lunch time, for no charge! Thankyou so much for an amazing stay at Aquila!

Confermo I cinque punti assegnati Il residence ti coinvolge appieno nel goderti la vacanza. Se il mare dovesse essere mosso, hai la scelta di cinque piscine, una spa, ed un parco acquatico. Locali puliti, come l'esterno ben curato, ottimo servizio in spiaggia con annesso chiosco bar. Ristorazione ottima, conscelta fra cinque ristoranti di cui uno italiano. Personale gentile.

En ce moment même dans cet hôtel qui est tres beau ....ils ont dû fermer la piscine principale auj pour ...on ne saura jamais ...mais forcément on imagine le pire ....et là 16h27 ..le gars qui range les transats commence déjà à tout ranger et NOUS DEMANDE de ranger nos transats une fois fini ... Chose qu on fait habituellement on est jamais parti en laissant du bizarre mais là...euh ..on est ds l herbe chose autorisée vu qu il y a des transats spéciaux mais je me vois mal mettre sur la pile mon tranSat ....

Aquila Rethimna Beach Hotel is amazing – the service is perfect in every detail. Special thanks to Ms. Manuela at Brasserie Rimondi for the best coffee and her kindness, and to Ms. Marlena in the Tavern for her wonderful service. Truly, the whole team makes the stay unforgettable!

Lovely hotel, not quite sure it’s worth of 5 star rating but plenty of facilities. Loads to entertain kids, dedicated kids aground and kids club. The waterpark was great, barely any queues even in the summer holidays. Room was basic and comfortable no complaints. Just a couple of things that let it down. The beach is no way near as nice as the photos look. Shingle beach with plenty of large rocks in the sea. Not holding this against the hotel as it’s a natural beach, but disappointed as photos show it appearing much nicer. A few things let it down Service: With the exception of the pool waitresses who were amazing (only ones I tipped), the 2 older men in the main and Italian restaurant, and one lovely lady at the evening bar, service from all other members was poor. At breakfast I went twice without coffee despite asking multiple times. Even being tutted at a couple of times! We were assigned tables for dinner only to have to move because someone was already sat there. Once we were moved into the smoking area which wasn’t great with kids. Other staff in the restaurants would ignore request for drinks etc. Receptionists weren’t very welcoming, no staff said hello when walking past. It’s basic customer service Food Food was ok: but not worth of 5 star, maybe a 4. Have been to better 4 star resorts with food actually. One thing I loved was that they remove beach towels from people who think it’s ok to put them down early then go for breakfast leaving them unused. I’d have left a 4 star review if it wasn’t for the service, I’ve been to many hotels and the 4 star in Zante was another level - remembering us and what we did the day before and if we had fun, remembering the kids and saying hello. Just basic stuff but makes you feel more welcome. Great hotel, probably wouldn’t go back for the reasons stated.

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad! Alles was goed! Eten en drinken, de kamers , de zwembaden, de ligging aan het strand. Het personeel is supervriendelijk en het is er erg schoon. Het hotel is zeker z'n 5 sterren waard! Het ontbreekt je aan werkelijk niks. In een woord: geweldig!!

Отличный отель, в номере с видом на море восхитительные пейзажи, рассвет и закат видно из номера, Еда отличная, качественная и вкусная. Напитки тоже качественные. Очень хороший семейный отель

Hotel bello e ben curato, spazi comuni sempre puliti, cibo buono e vario, personale cordiale e disponibile. Ottima la spa con sauna, bagno turco e idromassaggio. Purtroppo le camere sono datate, il bagno con vasca, tendina in tessuto e tappetino di plastica è scomodo e poco gradevole, per questo motivo la mia valutazione non è 5 stelle!

Impossible pour moi de ne pas laisser d’avis sur cet hôtel, Commençons par les points négatifs: Nous devons réserver chaque repas de la semaine afin d’éviter les embouteillages dans chaque restaurant le soir, bonne idée mais l’appli fonctionne mal alors nous avons dû nous tourner vers le bureau d’une personne face a la réception pour nous fixer les rdv, elle était vraiment géniale!!! Ainsi que Christina d’une douceur incroyable et souriante tous les jours! Malgré les nombreux restaurants, aucun ne ferme un peu plus tard, dommage !!! Les chambres un peu vieillottes et les coussins très durs, salle de bain petite et peu pratique La nourriture, que dire, splendide !!!!! Digne des restaurants, peut importe le restaurant que vous choisirez, vous y mangerez super bien! Du choix, de la qualité, c’est très très bon!! On s’est régalé juste un bémol sur les desserts c’est très limité, beaucoup de desserts sous forme de gateau mais pas de yaourts ou encore crème dessert, flan mousse, tiramisu. La piscine, wahou, très grande et très pratique car un entourage les enfants peuvent jouer puisqu’ils ont pied, la forme, un joli lagon, bref top endroit pour se baigner !!! Chaque hôtel devrait en avoir une comme celle ci! Et enfin, l’hôtel est très grand et le petit café de la place, la petite église…. Trop chouette!!!! On était en famille avec notre Loulou, on y retournera!

Terrible old fashioned style hotel. mattress are sink into the bed. old furniture. the bathroom is absolutely from the 80's. payed almost 3000 euro for an hotel which is not even 3 stars!!! Yesterday when we arrived, there was water on the lobby stairs, I slipped and fell on my back. I fainted. They called a doctor for me. I can barely walk, their beds are terrible. The mattress is sagging, they brought a mattress from some garage. Dirty. Shameful service. Substandard hotel. No ethics of decency or compensation!!!! They don't even want to change my room. Now, I've already spoken to a lawyer. I'll sue them for millions. For the fall and for ruining my vacation.

La struttura è bella, ben tenuta e curata. Le piscine sono gradevoli. Ottima la SPA. Solo le stanze sono molto datate, I bagni sono piccoli , la vasca con tendina di tessuto e piastrelle anni 80. Neanche lontanamente 5 stelle.

Amazing experience at rithymna hotel Very friendly staff and great hotel ! Spa it’s beautiful and modern don’t forget visit it !!

Horrible hotel. We arrived yesterday. There was water or oil on the lobby stairs. I slipped and crashed on my butt. I couldn't breathe. I was about to die. I got a terrible face.I have bruises all over my body!! And they give me a mattress from a garage full of dirt and wrapped it up. Instead of giving me a suite with a new bed. I will make sure you pay for it and a lot!! Especially for the disrespectful attitude! They gave me a terrible room. Two beds with mattresses sunk into the board. A small, old room. Horrible furniture from the 80s. Don't get me wrong, the lobby is nice. It's just the lobby. No compensation, no understanding of the incident. They ruined my vacation. I'm here with my small children and I'm not functioning. At least compensation for a suite with a normal bed. Nothing! A substandard hotel, certainly not 5 stars. The emergency doctor said I had terrible damage to my pelvis. I'm going to quietly sue them for several million euros. Paying 3,000 euros for such a horrible hotel is a disgrace. No sense of service and no compensation that ruined my vacation. A huge hotel, as old as a small city, simply shocking and undesirable.

We had a fantastic 10 night stay at the hotel. The hotel was very clean, grounds were well maintained. Very impressive waterpark which we visited a number of times, good choice of pools too across the resort. Although only ate breakfast at the hotel and the odd pool lunch, the food quality was always really good. Our only slight complaint would be the room in which we were given. The room was very dated and did not look like the online photos "Classic Family Room with Garden View". The bathroom / showering situation let the room down, 5* resorts in our opinion should be of better quality for the bedroom / bathroom. Overall, a fantastic hotel in a great location. We would highly recommend.
