Lämminhenkinen palvelu Tilava huone, näköala rannalle, parvekkeelle pääsy kahdesta huoneesta. Hotelli siisti ja erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hyvä aamiainen ja runsas illallinen. Hyvä sijainti, kaikki lähellä.

Beautiful town This is a nice hotel in a beautiful town--nothing fancy but very adequate. I would stay here again.

Mares Olypus Apartments Review October 2022 No Internet at all. Unhelpful Reception. Nobody available at checking out time. I had to go to local bar each night to use internet and also order a taxi for return journey. Food standard to good buffet. Dining room staff efficient and friendly. Cleaning good. Lots of mosquitoes. Near local shingle beach. Sea clear and clean. Close to main town. Fairly quiet and traditional rooms, studios had fridges. I had a balcony overlooking the sea. Would only go again if they added internet.

We were at Mare Hotel Apartments Agios Nikolaos for the third time and as before it was a wonderful holiday. If you are looking for a homely atmosphere, delicious food, peace, privacy, a small hotel, a charming town, you like the beach to be a few steps away and what is very important: wonderful staff, this is the place for you! Due to the small pool and lack of space for children to play, it may not be easy for families with children. Mare Hotel THANK YOU! We will be back :) Renata and Mario

Excellent small hotel of just 40 rooms delivering a truly Greek experience. A real contrast to the faceless mega-hotels along Crete's north coast. Wonderfully convenient location in Agios, superb views from sea-facing rooms - see my photos , splendid selection of food - again see photos, good beach on the doorstep, and, above all, genuinely caring staff. It is a pity that tour operators such as TUI only offer 'all inclusive' at Mare Olympus. Because this, quite wrongly, puts the hotel into the same pigeonhole as the tourist factories along the coast. Staying at the Mare Olympus took us back to the Greece of decades ago, when Greek hospitality and local culture mattered more than the size of the pool and the availability of bling cocktails. This hotel is a little gem. Yes maybe needs a bit of updating but a great base for being so close to the beach and the gorgeous town. Would not hesitate to book again. The staff are wonderful very friendly and welcoming really made our holiday. Thank you for a great stay.
