Aquila Elounda Village Resort, Suites & Spa

We stayed for 13 nights in a Deep Blue Bungalow Suite with Private Pool. This is our fourth visit and the first in one of these rooms. We were met by the brilliant Eleni and Maria in reception and had a fantastic welcome. The thing about this hotel is that when you go back it's like returning to family you know. The room exceeded our expectation when we got there. We stayed in room 006, which might have had a smaller suite (not that small) but it had a large pool and terrace, which was a dream, and we spent many happy hours there. We had two sunbeds and two chairs and a table on the terrace. These rooms are very modern, they have plenty of space, especially considering how long you spend in the room. The minibar is replenished daily (this is for soft drinks and a couple cans of beer) and the housekeeping team left water too. There's a coffee machine and a decent size safe. Mythica rooms also have a turn down service and each night our pool towels were replaced at this point, and the bathroom was reset. Thanks to Emiranda from housekeeping who did best job every day. The Mythica benefits are brilliant. You can eat in both a-la-carte restaurants as many times as you like in the evening, there's a great selection on the menu and the only thing that you had to pay for was in the higlights section of the menu in the Mirabello. Both restaurants are wonderful in their own way. Mirabello has wonderful sea views. This is also available for lunch, which we enjoyed on several occasions. The Symposium is fantastic, the location in 'the village' has a great relaxed atmosphere and the food in both restaurants is great. We also had lunch a few times in the beach bar - thanks to Zia and the team there for great service. Yes, you can only have a toastie there, but there's also the Mirabello and the buffet to choose from at lunchtime. The lobby bar has fantastic views and a great vibe. There's music on a Friday outside, and a saxophonist also played live to backing tracks outside a couple of times too. We didn't go to Cinema night, but a lot of people really seemed to enjoy it. We went to the beach party, which was great and to Greek night, where you get lovely food and the dancers are superb. A mention here for the team at the lobby bar, especially Eleni, and the two Marias. We enjoyed many happy nights here chatting to other guests and to our friend Charmaine from the hotel Jewellery shop. Thanks Charmaine! The staff across the hotel are brilliant and they really care about your experience. I have already mentioned some of them, but thanks to Dimitris, Konstantinos, Leo and Matteo in Mirabello and to Annie and Maria in Symposium. We were also lucky enough to chat to Michalis, the General Manager on a couple of occasions, who clearly cares about his staff, and wants to do all he can to ensure everyone has the best time on holiday at this hotel. Wir haben im Elounda Hotel einen grundsätzlich entspannten und erholsamen Urlaub verbracht, allerdings mit einigen Punkten, die dem Gesamterlebnis einen Dämpfer verpasst haben – weshalb wir drei Sterne vergeben. 🛏️ Zimmer & Check-In Gebucht hatten wir ein Zimmer mit Meerblick, erhalten haben wir jedoch zunächst ein x-beliebiges Zimmer, das gerade frei war. Erst nach einer Beschwerde bekamen wir das gebuchte, schönere Zimmer. Das ist schade – im Urlaub möchte man nicht zuerst diskutieren müssen, um das zu bekommen, was man ohnehin gebucht hat. 🍽️ All-Inclusive – leider nicht ganz Wir hatten All-Inclusive Plus gebucht, in der Annahme, das sei das beste verfügbare Paket. Leider stellte sich heraus, dass es in den à-la-carte-Restaurants wie „Miri Bella“ nur jeweils zwei Gerichte inklusive waren – alles andere kostet trotz All-Inclusive extra. Auch die Getränkeauswahl ist eingeschränkt: nur einige wenige Drinks sind wirklich inkludiert. Das war für uns enttäuschend und sollte im Vorfeld klarer kommuniziert werden. 📆 Reservierungsfrust Ein weiteres Manko: Man muss alle à-la-carte-Restaurants (außer das Buffetrestaurant) Tage im Voraus reservieren – ansonsten ist schlichtweg alles ausgebucht. Das nimmt dem Urlaub ein Stück Spontanität, die man sich gerade im Urlaub wünscht. So etwas haben wir bisher noch nie erlebt. 🧘 Spa & Personal Ein absolutes Highlight war jedoch das Spa – wunderschön, stilvoll und mit großartigen Behandlungen. Auch das Personal ist überaus freundlich, herzlich und bemüht. Hier gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Service: Bestellungen dauern häufig lange, morgens wartet man teils lange auf den Kaffee, auch wenn das Restaurant nicht überfüllt ist. Der Ablauf wirkt teilweise unkoordiniert, was schade ist, da die Mitarbeiterinnen wirklich ihr Bestes geben.

Amazing 5 stars ⭐️ experience!!! The first adults only hotel in Greece. The location was idyllic and the view was breathtaking to the infinity blue of the Aegean. Nice restaurants from fine dinning to typical Greek cuisine. The breakfast was unique. The hospitality was very friendly and very professional. The staff from the GM to the housemaid was always there for whatever we needed. Looking forward to return back to this paradise..😎☀️🍾

Το ταξίδι ήταν για δύο... ευτυχώς σε ένα απ τα 3 υπέροχα εστιατόρια είχαμε τη τύχη να επισκεφτούμε, και τελικά να γνωρίσουμε,, έναν εξαιρετικό .....peofprofessional waiter τον μοναδικό για εμάς :ΚΩΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟ !!! Απλά βρείτε τον στο Αquila Resort πείτε του τις γευστικές προτιμήσεις σας,,και αφήστε τον να σας μαγέψει και να δημιουργήσει το τέλειο δείπνο για εσάς!
