Agonda Serenity Resort

Wir bewerten nur das Restaurant. Übernachtet haben wir im benachbarten Agonda Villas, das Serenity Restaurant wurde uns dort empfohlen, waren alle 3 Abende unseres Aufenthalts dort zum Dinner. Lage im mittleren Strandbereich, sehr angenehme entspannte Atmosphäre, unten am Beach eine "Chillzone" mit Kissen, die leicht erhöhte Resto-Terrasse fantastisch, natürlich Strand- und Meerblick, Sand unter den Füssen, sogar eine Bar mit Barhockern. Symathischer und kompetenter Service, Preis-Leistung in Ordnung. Wir hatten als Main dishes hauptsächlich fish, das war alles top, geschmacklich wie Qualität. Die vegetarischen dishes auch alle erste klasse. Nach dem ersten Abend war klar: wir kommen wieder, es hatte alles gestimmt !

Agoda Serenity resort plagues from small boutique hotel trying to emulate like a five star hotel , rigid , over calculative , without environmental concerns like a five star needs to go through. this is the summary of our experience.. not suitable for families, couples, groups, perhaps OK for individuals.

Positives: Location was great, we had a beach facing room and the view was beautiful especially at sunset. The staff were very friendly, especially when we were having issues paying (it was for sure a card reader issue) but were patient until it was resolved. Clean rooms, nice to have choice of fan and air con, anti mosquito plug in room. Generally a nice place - communal area in bar, comfortable Negatives: As mentioned, card reader issues - maybe think of international travellers (and the automatic conversion to GBP is not good for the traveller at all). I resolved this by doing an international transfer via Monzo, which meant I was not paying out more than what I had agreed to when booking. We spent more time (while in Agonda) further up beach using other restaurants/hotels sun loungers and eating there at breakfast and lunch because their overall facilities were better. We had breakfast at the hotel once, which was OK. We had lunch another time and my watermelon and feta salad was a bit ridiculous for the price. Basically a bowl of watermelon, a minuscule crumble of feta and a sprig (garnish) of mint (which was listed as an ingredient). Would be good to have a kettle in the room.
