The independent studio (queen bed) is a beautiful bedroom with an ensuite and private deck. The studio has been offered as accommodation for six years and has become a beloved destination by hundreds of guests. Now the main home is being opened to guests, with the studio available for three or four person groups. The stunning garden offers something different in each season. The bottom hydrangea section has outdoor seating that’s ideal for a glass of bubbles and the herb and vegetable garden is yours to use. A short walk up the road takes you to Caldera vineyard where the brand new cellar door restaurant is one of the most exciting additions to Akaroa in years. The views and food are truly special. Head down the road on foot to Te Waonui o Tane (The Garden of Tane) where you can explore a network of tracks through the regenerated native bush and exotic colonial planting.
