Holiday for one month around both Islands and stopped here for the night due to very bad weather but stayed 3 nights as it was so beautiful and scenic-Great restaurants and bars as well as walking around and exploring this historic town with French influence

The Top 10 in Akaroa was clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and helpful, the surrounding area is lovely and the nature walks are a must.

The park is up high over the town so the views from the park down to the bay are stunning. Be prepared for the climb back up if you venture down on foot. Our cabin was comfortable and well equipped.

Clean facilities, helpful staff, lovely location, very nice cabin and comfy bed. A walking path through woodland to the town if you don't mind the steep climb back up! Highly recommend.

Overall a nice camping with a beautiful view of the harbour, and really clean and confortable common facilities. You can access the harbour in 10-15 minutes by walking, but careful the way back is a bit steep.

A lovely, quiet campsite for motorhome. Clean facilities and showers with beautiful view. A little distance from town, need to drive to get there.

Pleasant stay. Would stay again. Unit could have a better heater (ie small heat pump) like the single room units. TV channels were limited. Unable to get TV3!

Spent our last night here after a month with a motorhome rental. Wished we had more time to explore the Akaroa peninsula, it's a stunning place with much to see and do. We booked an oceanview campsite and although a bit squished (everybody wants a view!) it was a lovely spot for our last night. Services were good, able to dump sewer, fill up with water etc. before returning our motorhome.
