"This must be the most incredible hotel in Albi. The view is stunning. It sits on the riverside directly across from the old city. Just a few minutes walk across the bridge and your there. Sitting on the terrace enjoying you breakfast or dinner as the river rolls by and the views are breathtaking. Clean rooms with A/C and modern bathroom just make sure to book a river view room."

"We found this in the Rick Steves book. We ended up looking at 3 rooms and found the street side room to be the largest with a great view of the entrance to old town. Everything is walking distance, parking is on the street right below the room and costs about 8 euro a day. You can park a 10 minute walk away for free. The room was quiet with 2 sets of windows and a set of shutters. The wi-fi was fast and right in the room. The pool and garden area was beautiful and the owners a delight. A grocery store, cafe and old town just across the street."

"Loved our stay at this hotel. First, the location, right on the River Tarne, with walking distance to the town centre and the magnificent Ste Cecile Cathedral. Very scenic location, and loved listening to the river. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable with Nespresso coffee maker in the room. The breakfast was copious, lots of choices with varieties of Nespresso coffees available. Bonus that we didn’t have to pay for parking either, maybe because it was off season. We really loved the stay and will probably come back to stay again."

"Still a magnificent site! On the other hand, disappointed by the dinner. Dishes without flavor and not very filling (especially the goose cannelloni and the zucchini tart, 3 mouthfuls without more). Mignardises out of the freezer ... and above all a service more than average and certainly not worthy of a 5 star hotel .. peremptory tone of the manager who approaches us by saying "so, what are we eating?" .... and a little before "what are we drinking? ..... the bread is distributed drop by drop, after having asked for it, table without tablecloth, chairs without cushions. Pleasant sommelier but who goes a little too much into his delusions ... and young waitresses without much experience, although trying to do their best. When booking it is unpleasant to be offered a time slot of 15 minutes for arrival at the establishment ... this is surely due to a lack of staff. In short, very disappointed with all the services. Damage !"

"بقينا ليلة البارحة في غرفة 6 أشخاص جديدة ولدينا سريرين ثلاثية الأبعاد. أحببنا هذا الفندق (6 سنوات و2 سنة قال إنه أفضل يوم له حتى الآن عندما حصل على سرير في الفراش). كانت الغرفة أيضا تحتوي على حقيبتين كبيرتين من الفاصوليا التي أعجبتهم. في العموم، كنت قادرا على استيعاب 6 أشخاص. بالنسبة للنظافة والسعر والخبرة نحن نعطيه 5 نجوم. أفضل ما في الأمر هو الترحيب بالموظفين لطفاء الذين أفسدوا أطفالنا والسماح لنا بتناول الإفطار على الرغم من أننا فرغنا بوقت متأخر لضيوف الميزانية بكل غباء! (الإدارة بشكل خاص كانت الفتاة الشابة الساحرة من فيتنام). شكرًا لك على ميزانية ألبي التي منحتنا ليلة واحدة رائعة في ألبي! نحب أن نرحب بكم!"

"Top notch small hotel. A warm welcome, delightful bedroom, excellent restaurant. The location is perfect, in the exquisite old town, within easy walking distance of the cathedral and Toulouse-Lautrec museum. Best of all, breakfast! At Alchimy this is NOT one of those ghastly international buffets offered by 99% of hotels, with lukewarm trays of rubbery eggs, flabby bacon and (horror of horrors) baked beans. Breakfast here was a breath of fresh air. We were led to our table which was already laid with a basket of fresh fruit, and another of wonderful fresh bread and croissants, good butter and jam. A pot of delicious home-made yoghurt was also offered, plus juices and coffee/tea. A proper French petit déj - bravo!"
