Hard to summarise how I feel about this trip, a few simple tweaks would have made a huge difference The facilities of the hotel itself are fine, slightly dated, but by no means unpleasant We booked all inclusive holiday, of which it is, providing you walk quite literally a half a mile away to one of the sister hotels. This information was not the most clear and slightly confusing at first, I’m sure in Peak season it is easier, but I’ve been lead to believe in in peak season this actual facility does not offer the services on site, but the walk to another sister hotel in summer is shorter. This was the big downside of the trip Food/drink of the sister hotel was fine, not quite sure I would class it as 4 star quality, but there was a good selection, the breakfasts menu was far better than evening meal, didn’t get a chance to go to one of the “specialist restaurants” but was told they were better than the all inclusive evening meal. Staff were all very friendly, and baggage storage was free for early arrival and late departure if needed On a whole for the price paid, the only grumble is the all inclusive being off site, I don’t think it should be offered, or should be made clearer in the booking process But still a decent trip away

Have just come home from an 11 night all inclusive stay here and will not be returning, which is a pity as we have been going to this hotel for 5 years now and have always loved it. Hotel was totally overrun with 18-24 year olds who were very noisy and drunk most of the day even taking drinks into the pool with them. Poolside bars ran out of drinks at least 3 days of our visit and could only offer beer or wine on these occasions. Food was definitely not as good quality in buffet restaurants as last year and booking speciality restaurants was problematic, i.e: wrong times and wrong restaurants booked and on one occasion we were not actually booked in at all, even though we had it confirmed by reception on paper. Closing times in bars in June were very early and inconsistent - 10pm, 10.30pm which is ridiculous and hardly all inclusive. M&M Club (which was only open until 12am) is hardly a club but instead is the courtyard of an old villa, which is very dark and uninviting. Also Staff here were extremely rude, sullen and dismissive, insisting on a 1 drink policy per person when the other bars had a 2 drink policy which is in the terms & conditions. At The Boat bar, we and numerous other people had no alcohol in our cocktails even though they were not non alcoholic cocktails. Indian restaurant food was very nice but very small portions indeed. We arrived at 23.35pm on our 1st night and got our all inclusive bands but there was nowhere open to go to have something to eat or drink. Also on our last day our bands were cut off at 10am check out so we missed out on breakfast and lunch before our flight home which we felt was unfair as we didn’t have lunch or dinner on our first day. All Reception staff and staff in Golden buffet were very friendly and helpful. Denis and Amir who worked in the poolside bars were very friendly and professional in their approach to their jobs and did their best to keep the pool bar running and the poolside clear of plastic glasses etc.
