My wife and I spent two nights at Monte Góis and absolutely loved our stay. It's a perfect place to rest and recharge your batteries. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, we still had an amazing time. The dinner was delicious, and the massage experience was top-notch — both added so much to the relaxing atmosphere. The whole place has a peaceful, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay longer. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet escape in the Alentejo.

We stayed in the bungalow which had a beautiful view of the countryside and the hotel . The bed was very comfortable and it had a well kitted out kitchenette with a little veranda outside with a table and chairs. There was a mezzanine floor with a double and single bed which would have been very cramped if 4 or 5 people were sharing the unit. It was perfect for the two of us. You can walk for miles straight from the property if you had the app Organics. The hotel didn’t provide any walking routes which would have helped. The wild swimming lake was fabulous and was only a 10 minute walk away, and with two other swimming pools you are spoilt for choice. The breakfast was very good and the evening meals very good with only a choice of fish or meat. No vegetables served with the meals but I am sure if we had asked they could have provided a salad or something. Almodôvar is a good 20 min drive away with plenty of restaurants and a supermarkets. The two resident dogs were very friendly and gentle. In April the room gets a bit cold at night.

The place had no water. We stayed 2 nights. 30 hours out of aprox 43 hours we had no water at all or no hot water at all. We had no water to wash out the toilet. Spa is absolutely out of serviced due to fungos in jacuzzi and total dirtiness everywhere. Staff- Sofia- when we called her attention that spa wasn’t prepared for the booked hour, didn’t looked at all bordered. So we didn’t use… overall very disappointed.

This is a lovely place, well designed for enjoyment. Elegant rooms and public space with perfect swimming pools and sun lounging areas. The independent rooms are beautiful and quiet, but rooms in the old stable block are not sound proofed from next door TVs etc. Food is delicious and good value. Situation is very quiet in beautiful countryside.

My wife and I stayed for 1 night, and we found it peaceful and romantic. Wonderful place, far from everything. Ricardo welcomed us with great kindness. Girl Ana is lovely. The food was fabulous The rooms were very well decorated and beautiful I will definitely come back

After several years without returning to Monte Góis we returned this week for a short stay of just one night. Today everything is very different. The first time, Cátia and Ricardo were still at the beginning of a dream that they wanted to make come true but they only had a few rooms and the pool was a small lagoon some distance away where you could go in the good company of the donkey, the goat and the dog. At the time there was already a special atmosphere in this place and now I can see that the dream has come true, the magic of the place remains intact and the service is excellent. Here we can still enjoy the three increasingly rare and precious things that are space, time and silence. Carlos and Paula.

Everything is wonderful. Anyone who wants to rest or spend time relaxing with their partner is the ideal place. The ESSENCE deluxe suite is stunning with a huge stone bathtub and a beautiful bathroom, not to mention the size of the room. The employees are friendly. I strongly advise.

The space is very beautiful and clean, with friendly and helpful staff. The food is excellent. There are very pleasant trails for walking through nature. The saltwater pool offers an incredible view of nature, surrounded by the sounds of the birds that live there.
