Almyrida Resort

The Hotel was very clean and friendly, the food was lovely, all the staff were brilliant, the hotel is literally across the road from the beach, the sun set every night was stunning, the local tavernas were well priced and friendly. I would definitely visit again.

Lovely hotel, nice staff, wonderful pool in Almyrida beach hotel. Great balcony in the evening in the shade if you book a family room. Nice sea wiews. Just love this place! Have been here many times with my family. It was perfect in June. Nice temperature and not very crowded.

Wir waren in einem Nebengebäude (Ca. 200 Meter entfernt) untergebracht. Nur 10 Meter vom Meer entfernt. Sehr sauber. Leider war es manchmal Nachts etwas laut, da sich junge Gäste die ganze Nacht auf der Hotelterrasse laut lachend unterhalten haben. Ansonsten eine klare Empfehlung. Essen war hervorragend und es gab eine große und abwechslungsreiche Auswahl.

We’ve been to this hotel on many occasions and will return, lovely, clean, smart, hotel, where nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are fresh, immaculately clean, and modern, with all facilities and balconies with a sea view. The resort itself is a gorgeous little place and still authentically Greek, no English breakfasts, no fast food, and no fish and chips. It’s quiet, with about 12 local tavernas offering Cretan food and drink. The staff at the hotel need a special mention as they are all fabulous, friendly, and attentive. A special mention and thanks to Ciril, F and B manager, Sofia, in Surreal Bar, Margarita, in Surreal Bar, and Pablo, the cocktails wizard. Thanks for a fantastic holiday, we’ll definitely be back for more.

Fantastic week at this hotel. It is spotlessly clean throughout and the staff are so friendly they cannot do enough for you! The breakfast buffet had everything you could possibly want, cereals, yoghurts, fresh or dried fruits, pancakes, waffles, crossoints, eggs, bacon, sausage, omlettes, veg & freshly squeezed juices. Our room was modern and had a comfortable bed and very powerful warm shower. Aircon, TV and kettle with tea & coffee provided and a fridge. The chilled bottle of water left was a nice touch on a late arrival! Nice quiet pool area with ample comfortable loungers and pool bar. Pool was very cold but it is early in the season & the sea was warmer. You can use the resort hotel opposite which was nice to try the roof pool but very formal and we preferred the relaxed vibe of the beach hotel. Not much evening entertainment but I guess maybe more in the busier season. The hotel is yards away from a beautiful sandy beach with clear shallow waters. I would say around 15—20 restaurants and a few bars and shops along the waters edge so beautiful views for dining, we never had a bad meal in any! There is a bus stop for a bus into Chania which was more like an air conditiond coach which was lovely and we did a glass bottom boat trip from there including swim & snorkeling stops that we enjoyed. I'd definitely recommend this hotel & resort 100%.

L'hôtel est très propre, l'accueil sympathique,.le personnel ( menage..service) très aimable et dévoué. Nous avions une chambre d'angle , vue mer et piscine mais gâchée par les ailes d'un grand moulin ( local technique de la piscine) Le parking assez grand et pratique. La mer ,.juste de l'autre côté de la route. Plutôt agréable. Néanmoins ,pour de nombreuses raisons,.l'hotel ne correspond pas à un 4* mais 3*...déjà l'alimentation, le petit déjeuner,du choix mais toujours absolument la même chose. Le repas du soir, tjrs les mêmes entrées,.il faut aimer les carottes râpées, tomates, concombre. Pour le reste ,plutôt de la nourriture de cantine. Pas de nappe mais des sets en papier . On nous debarasse très vite les assiettes et les tables et à 21h fermeture du self. Pas assez de parasols autour de la piscine, d'autant que les gens installent leurs serviettes dès 7h du mat pour y rester parfois 2h,.serviettes payantes 2e/pers et chq fois que.l'on veut les changer. La mer est très proche,.plutôt agréable mais les transats sont payants. Enfin, les gens arrivent à ttes heures du jour et de la nuit, ils font souvent beaucoup de bruit avec les valises et à 2h du mat parlent fort sans qu'apparemment L'hôtel ne se manifeste.
