Almyrida Resort

Just arrived back from this lovely place and will definitely be going back. The hotel is class. High standard rooms with ace views of the sea/pool and gardens. The breakfast is taken on the roof top next to one of the 3 pools (infinity) with impressive views of the mountains. The breakfast is 1st class with loads of choice hot and cold. All the staff at this resort are friendly and go out of their way to make your stay the best possible. We had bnb. There are 13 restaurants/tavernas all on the beach with great sea views and a good standard of Greek/Mediterranean/Italian food. Most provide bottled water, dips, desserts and raki free of charge. The mains and the house wines are all excellent and extremely good value. In fact this is the cheapest resort I've been to since corfu in the 80s. Almyrida is a lovely long bay with soft sand and crystal clear water. Most of the tavernas (and the hotel) offer free sunbeds and parasols. The smallish town is flat for walking around and has everything you need on holiday. Don't go if you want crowds, loud music or nightlife. Do go if you want to chill by the pool or on the beach and eat great food at night. Beautiful place and a great hotel.

Rooftop bar/pool area used for breakfast is a real delight with views of the sea and mountains. The food was exceptional and the dinner buffet very good value head and shoulders above most we have experienced in terms of quality and choice. Very unusual for holiday hotels is the quality of the bedrooms and especially the bed. Excellent in all respects apart from the MUZAK which is played morning noon and night and spoils the wonderful rooftop breakfast experience totally.

Bien mais besoin d’un rafraîchissement L’hôtel est agréable bien situé le personnel accueillant mais les locaux en général et les chambres ont besoin de modernisation. Le balcon est peu utilisable en raison d’un fort vis à vis avec les voisins.
