"We stayed one night in the ice hotel, did the ice sculpting activity during the day of our stay, and had the tasting menu for dinner. The staff was fantastic and really friendly - shoutout to Ida at the front desk, Philip and Romain, as well as Nathan, Magnus, and Maria in the restaurant. We went in the middle of the week during the winter and it was very quiet. We spent time in the main lobby and in the “living room” with the fireplace since you don’t have access to your room in the ice hotel until 8pm. There wasn’t much to do outside of the planned activities and the main lobby is very quiet- you couldn’t really hear the music they had playing. We went for the tasting menu for dinner with the wine pairing. Magnus’s wine pairings were very good and the pours were generous but overall the food didn’t match the price. The ice hotel was a cool experience and we slept well. We enjoyed the sauna that was included the next day. The included buffet breakfast was very good. We borrowed snowshoes and used them on the trails around the property which was great too as the trails are well-marked and maintained. Overall, don’t go halfway: if you’re interested in staying at the ice hotel, spend the extra money to add on the activities or make sure you’re out in nature, or plan to arrive later in the evening. Otherwise you might find yourself sitting around a lot."

"The structure is located inside an equestrian center and the love I have for horses is a point in its favor. Having said that, the place is perfect, equipped with every comfort and the hot outdoor Jacuzzi is an added value that made a cold and rainy evening a wonderful evening. We'll be back immediately."

"لقد مكثنا في قصر غارجيا في الخامس والعشرين من ديسمبر/كانون الأول. ورغم بعض الطقس والغيوم السيئة (حتى مع انخفاض قيم كب المتوقعة في الأرقام 1) حصلنا على عدة ليال من الأضواء الشمالية الجميلة، خارج أبواب مكاتبنا مباشرة. في الواقع، يمكننا مراقبة السماء من خلال النافذة - وفقط الخروج عندما كان واضحا وواثقا بما فيه الكفاية من وجود عرض يمكن رؤيته بعد فترة قصيرة. العديد من الأنشطة (تزلج الكلاب، والدراجات الثلجية، إلخ) الدخول إلى هضبة باسكاdes يبدأ مباشرة عند الإقامة... وقد كان لدينا عرض أضواء أفضل من ذلك مع رحلة بالثلوج إلى هضبة. الموقع كان مهماً للغاية خصوصاً في أيام الطقس السيئة - كان لدينا يومين حيث كان علينا إلغائها قيود طويلة بسبب الطقس الساحلي السيء و اغلاق على E6/E69 وكانت الاقامة بغاية السهولة حول غارجيا لودج لعمل تنزهات قصيرة و زلاجات ثلجية. بالمقابل اذا كنت في مدينة ألمطا (أو ربما حتى ترومسو) مع هذا الطقس فأنت عالقين في نزلاء تقريبا. الطوبوغرافيا الفريدة للمنطقة المحيطة بـ غارجيا لودج تعني أنه حتى مع غطاء سحاب قوي، كان من الممكن أن نخرج من الشمال أو الجنوب أو الشرق لإيجاد نشاطات إضافية في جيوب الطقس النظيف (مفيد جداً في مؤتمرات تبادل النجوم وشرائح الطقس). الفندق في موقع جيد، بالقرب من محطة القطار الرئيسية. وهو يقع في الضواحي، وهذا هو الخدمة الذاتية. والأفضل جزء من الإقامة هو ربما الموظفين. لطيف جدا والرغبة دائما في المساعدة - دون أن تكون متطفلة! "Such a wonderful place. We loved everything about it : The incredible kindness of the people working here : they made us an amazing breakfast and offered to feed the sheep with them. The cabins themselves, beautifully decorated ! Very spacious and modern, loved being able to make a fire. Incredible views during the day and also during the night spotting auroras. Through the big windows. We travel a lot and we can say without a doubt that is one of the best places we have been staying at. We stayed an extra day since we loved the place so much and already look forward to coming back and staying a bit longer this time!"
