Great place Fab location, great room, lovely restaurant attached.

Not often we have negative experiences at hotels but this time I feel like I have to write a review. First of all, this is not a spa hotel (even though they practice spa hotel prices at about 150€/night in November). The "spa" is open only 4h/day from 3:30pm and getting towels there is not easy as they're not replacing often. The rooms are tiny and you have a washing basin next to the bed, which is something I never seen before. The "double bed" is actually two single beds together. No water, tea or coffee provided in the room. Service here is definitely not at European standards (maybe Austrian standard) as the staff is not very friendly and their poor English skills tells you a lot of the type of guests that stay here. The hotel itself is right next to a highway so it's not the most relaxing location. Breakfast was okay but needs to be improved to have more vegetarian-friendly options. The only positive thing I would say was the friendly young man at the reception and breakfast area (it's all together so they save on staff) which let us checkout 1 hour later, free of charge. Overall not a place I would recommend.

Out for an evening dinner. Fantastic food and generous portions. Traditional Austrian hotel restaurant with very frienfly staff, pleasant setting - unexpected considering location. Menu has vegan and vegetarian options. This is not first visit - its great.

Restauranten var lidt af en oplevelse - det tog 2 timer at få serveret 2 x anbefalet husets ret - og en halv time at få lov til at betale. Ja, det kunne lyde som brok - men men sådan var det også sidste gang vi besøgte Restauranten - så vi kommer nok ikke igen. Hotellet er ellers ganske fint med dejlig morgenmadsbuffet😊

Für einen Geschäftstermin suchte ich in Altenmarkt oder Schladming ein Hotel und fragte diverse im Vorfeld (1-2 Wochen vorher) an. Da nicht klar war, wann und wo ich übernachte, liess ich das offen bis zum Anreisetag. Hier muss ich gleich ein Lob an die Empfangsmitarbeiterin Carina aussrpechen. Schon im Vorfeld schrieben wir sehr oft per Mail und sie gab stets ausführliche Auskunft. Und das beste: sie fragte dann 1 Tag vor Anreise nach, wie denn der aktuelle Stand wäre usw. und dieses Interesse und der Einsatz führten dann dazu, dass ich buchte. Ich habe es auch nicht bereut. Ich bekam ein schönes Zimmer mit franz. Bett, schönem sonnigen Balkon mit herrlichem Ausblick, Das Zimmer war jetzt nicht besonders gross und das Bad ziemlich klein, doch für 1 Person ausreichend. Das ganze dann auch zu einem sehr günstigen Preis. Am Anfang konnte ich mich noch schön auf dem Balkon sonnen, weil es sehr warm war, danach genoß ich die Wärme in der sehr schönen Sauna, ebenso mit tollem Ausblick. Das Abendessen war sehr gut und sehr reichlich, im Gasthaus konnte man sehr gut auch als Alleinreisender sitzen und ich fühlte mich sehr gut aufgehoben und von aufmerksam bedient. Auch das Frühstück in sehr schönem modernen Restaurantbereich des Hotels war super. Sehr grosses Angebot. Das einzige Manko: wenn man ein Spiegelei möchte, wird das gerne zubereitet, jedoch würde es extra kosten. Sowas kannte ich bisher auf meinen Geschäftsreisen nicht, vielleicht lag es daran, dass die Küche nicht besetzt ist um diese Zeit? Somit gab es halt ein weichgekochtes Ei, was zur Verfügung steht. Also, ich war positiv überrascht, wie gut ich es - dank Carina - getroffen hatte mit dem Hotel (top gepflegt und sehr sauber) und komme gerne wieder.
