Excellent bed and breakfast!
Wonderful stay! This home is beautiful. Our hosts Sandy and Jim were gracious and it was a pleasure to be with them for the evening. Highly recommended!

I would absolutely love to take over this wonderful BNB. It has always been my dream. To bring people happiness would be so delightful. This wonderful historical place would be a dream come true. This place calls me my heart feels so full by even looking at it. I have not been there just seen it and it calls to me. I just have to put something down so I can submit

It was a delight to stay in this well maintained Mansion! The owners are very accommodating. The tour and the history of the house was so interesting! So many beautiful piece to see in the home. It is the place to stay in Alton!

This property is worn and tired. 5 years or maybe 10 it would of looked like the pictures we saw on line. There is a continental breakfast in a bag at your door in the morning, no gourmet breakfast. Hard boiled egg( mine had a black yolk ) which I threw out. Stayed 2 nights. No fresh towels the 2 nd morning. No chocolate buffet, Hershey nuggets on a plate in your room. We were told they had no help and because of Covid. Stayed in Galena Illinois for 2 nights in a B and B 2 days after. Gourmet breakfast, wonderful chocolates and fresh towels.

Beall Mansion is an absolute gem! What a great place to celebrate our anniversary. Jim and Sandy are amazing hosts, anticipating every need and taking the time to share the history of the house and community. You'll be quite pampered at Beall Mansion.

Highlights: A beautiful interior and exterior. The antiques, including a vintage piano and an antique home-organ. A pleasant, personalized phone-call with owner Jim when I made my reservation. Chocolates. An appealing assortment of books. Excellent Covid protocols that made me comfortable. It's location along the Great River Road during the migration of bald eagles. I hope to become a regular visitor!
