Already stayed here when we got an early flight from Manchester. Lots of free parking and the lady at reception was nice and friendly.

Lovely stay! Clean, comfy rooms, friendly staff, and great location. Everything we needed before our flight. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends! Nearby park with bird sanctuary also. Shower and tea/coffee facilities in room.

The lady on reception remembered us from our last stay as we had asked for the same room it wasn't available due to having work done but put us next door We had a very good sleep before our flight,. , couldn't hear the traffic Rooms are clean and basic,there is an hairdryer tea and coffee facilities, good location for us as we park at APH. . You can either eat at the pub next door or short walk into town were there are plenty of pubs and restaurants,It really is great value for money if you book early! Will definitely stay here again

We booked this Premier Inn for an overnight stay prior to an early flight from Manchester. It was an easy ten minute drive the next morning to the airport. This and the really cheap rate of £38 are really the only plus points though. This is a very, very dated hotel. The room wasn’t actually dirty but gave the appearance of being grubby as all the soft furnishings and carpets were old and tatty. The actual bed was dreadful. They definitely haven’t got Lenny’s Hypnos beds here! It creaked alarmingly and the mattress was lumpy and we spent the night in the crevice in the middle. We barely slept a wink. The room was way too hot although the heating wasn’t actually on. We had to open the window but this meant we could hear traffic. We won’t be staying here again.

I have used many PIs, but have never experienced one as poor as this. It is a dated and shabby building with the most uncomfortable bed I have tried to sleep in at a Premier Inn. The bed was one of those where both people end up rolling into the centre. The desk lamp didn't work, and one of the coat hooks was hanging off the wall. The female on Reception looked as if she was noting down our comments, but I very much doubt that she recorded our dissatisfaction. VERY poor. Certainly not 'a good night's sleep' at all. The eatery next door is also shabby and in need of a good clean and redecoration. Overall, enough to put you off choosing Premier Inns. I cannot recommend this at all.

The hotel is very tired and in need of an upgrade. Our room was very poky and hot despite window being opened as far as possible and fan in room. Rickety chair. Hairline crack in sink. Toilet flush sometimes wouldn't work. All windows in hotel had mould along the bottom. Bedside lamps didn't work - one had no bulb (to be fair, this was remedied despite being told there was no maintenance in at weekend). Restaurant: very tatty with bits of litter on floor, even early next morning before breakfast. The food at dinner and breakfast was very good though. Windows need replacing. Pub in which the restaurant is situated very scruffy- exterior render coming off in chunks. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and you have to feel sorry for them as they work for the Whitbread Company who never seem to care about upgrading the smaller hotels.

Great stay. Warm welcome. Although an older Premier Inn our room was spotlessly clean. Free parking was an added bonus. Thank you everyone for making our stay a pleasurable one. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would not hesitate a return visit.

We had a very Comfortable stay, great shower. Clean room, and good location . Couldn't hear the traffic. It really was great value for money!! Would definitely stay there again! The staff were friendly, helpful and lovely!! Handy vending machine in reception area.
