Ostello che accoglie sia giovani viaggiatori che famiglie e ancor più gite scolastiche o trasferte sportive di giovani. C'è sempre un gran via-vai, in quanto la sua capacità è davvero molto elevata. Le camere sono abbastanza standard come ostello, letti a castello, armadietto per oggetti personali, bagno in camera essenziale ma per lo meno ben funzionante. La pulizia non è il massimo ma non ci si può aspettare troppo; i materassi non sono comodissimi ma per pochi gg. ci può stare. La colazione è a buffet, improntata per lo più sul salato: come dolce c'è solo la marmellata o la nutella per il pane tostato (no torte, no viennoiserie). La posizione non è male: non si è in centro ma è ben servito da 2 tram e 1 bus, in zona residenziale (si trova anche parcheggio) e in 20 minuti si è ovunque. Di fronte c'è un piccolo parco giochi per bambini e tavoloni all'esterno per bere qualcosa. Durante la settimana si alternano serate a tema, comunque non fastidiose per chi non volesse parteciparvi. Durante il giorno si può sfruttare l'area comune con biliardi, calcio balilla, giochi di società e area bimbi. Acqua free alla reception. Per i prezzi che ci sono ad Amsterdam ci è sembrata una buona soluzione, ovviamente bisogna un po' adattarsi alla situazione ed essere pronti comunque a spendere dei bei soldi...

The place is definitely not cozy - think a basic student dormitory room with three bank beds, no fridge, microwave, coffee maker, air conditioner, hangers. Very dark - a single lamp for the whole room. You can request a hair drier or a room fan from the front desk for free. You have to pay for towels. Laundry is available, but not cheap (9.50 Euro). The shower room is fairly decent. It's also a bit far from the downtown - 25-30 minutes by tram or bus. Breakfast provided is basic and probably not worth the price (10 Euro). We also had an incident when a stranger knocked at the door and told us he was checking the room, but when we asked at the front desk they said they don't do that, so it was concerning. The front desk said they would investigate, but they never got back to us with an update. We wouldn't recommend the place.

Awful WiFi that struggled to load basic webpages, mediocre to uncomfortable beds (with pillows that seem at least 20 years old), and on the borderline of being unclean. Ok location, but would strongly recommend you stay at a different hostel.
