Hotel Vossius Vondelpark

As someone who has travelled to Amsterdam over five times in the last year at various price points, I have to say that this hotel does not live up to the standard whatsoever, I don’t recommend it at all. Starting with the pros: - location is amazing. Right across the street from Vondelpark, and just a few minutes from the museums - bathroom was good, very very small, but nevertheless it was a fine bathroom - some of the front desk people were really lovely - competitive bike rental pricing, and the bikes are fine! Cons: - the stinkiest room I’ve ever set foot in. It smelt like straight sewage, and was refused a room change as the hotel was full. Had to keep the door open to the backyard otherwise I’d be marinating in stink - hotel is really old and definitely needs some rejuvenating - had a really disgusting stain on my bedsheet, and left it out in the open so that the cleaner would hopefully replace it, they did not. Bath towels were replaced, hand towels were not given. - one front desk worker is incredibly unhelpful and seems like they’d rather be anywhere else but there. I understand CS work is really tough, perhaps a different line of work. I’d recommend that if you stay in this hotel, to avoid any rooms on the ground floor if possible.

Wouldn't recommend. We checked in, ten minutes we checked out because of the cleanliness and the bad odor.

El hotel esta en muy buena ubicación y con buenas vistas, lo malo que tiene es la habitación es muy estrecha, con alguna sabana con agujero, el baño es mas pequeño aun.. la habitación cuenta con cafetera, calefacción y ventilador. Hemos pagado la tasa la de 30€ por día. Todo estrecho la verdad Los recepcionistas muy majos, nos guardaron las maletas después del check-out.

Das Zimmer war einer von fünf Containern im Hinterhof des Hotels. Zumal das Zimmer nie als Container bei der Buchung auftauchte. das Badezimmer hat etwas nach Schimmel gerochen, als wir ins Zimmer sind. Waschbecken war so klein und unpraktisch, reicht nicht die Hände zu waschen.
